Seeing the evil creature finally reveal itself, Nemean bursts into action, using his feline agility to dart across the bridge with his scimitars in hand. He lets out a sharp hiss as he swings his blades. He is careful not to block Argos.
Move Action: Nemean dashes 50ft (feline agility x2 movement speed)

In the blink of an eye, Nemean is within sword range of the nothic. It ducks below his first slash in the nick of time, then takes a small cut from the follow-up.
Round 1 Order: Nothic Players <===== Cinis, Tarok and Sildar are up
Tracking: The nothic is standing at the other side of the crevasse, which is 10 feet wide. There is only 5 feet between the crevasse and the wall where you stand. Reaching melee range of the nothic on foot will require 20 feet of movement north to the bridge, 10 feet of movement across, and 20 feet of movement south.
OOC: Giving another day or so for Cinis and Tarok to get back in. If you're busy and need to just post a quick summary for now, I can make rolls for you.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Tarok - According to the tracking, reaching the nothic would take 50 feet of movement, so you could reach the nothic by using Dash as your action, but obviously wouldn't be able to attack in the same turn.
Nothic WIS Save: 8
Cinis shouts a magically enhanced command at the nothic.
Round 1 Order: Nothic Players <===== Tarok and Sildar are up
Tracking: The nothic is standing at the other side of the crevasse, which is 10 feet wide, engaged in melee with Nemean. There is only 5 feet between the crevasse and the wall where you stand. Reaching melee range of the nothic on foot will require 20 feet of movement north to the bridge, 10 feet of movement across, and 20 feet of movement south.
"My word... even by my standards that thing is unconscionably ugly." Tarok calls out as he draws his greatsword and rushes to help his friends contend with the monster.

OOC: How does everybody feel about the tracking I've been providing? I was trying to avoid a separate tool to track combat but the way I've been doing it seems to have caused a lot of confusion in some scenarios. I own the Lost Mine of Phandelver module on Roll20...would it be more helpful if I used that and posted pictures of positioning for tracking?
EDIT - Ignore the dice manipulation warning, accidentally rolled an action for the nothic it doesn't get.

Sildar Heavy Crossbow Attack: 16
Tarok moves across the northern bridge. Sildar draws his heavy crossbow, launching a bolt across the crevasse that strikes the nothic, dealing 3 piercing damage, but doesn't seem to cause more than a slight flinch. Droop mistakes Cinis's command as intended for him, and immediately drops to the floor, shouting "Droop so sorry, scary man! Droop grovel at your feet, forgive Droop!"
Fortunately, so does the nothic, dropping prone to the floor, magically compelled to grovel.
Round 2 Order: Nothic Players <=====
Tracking: The nothic is prone, on the west side of the crevasse. Nemean is 5 feet from the nothic, on the west side of the crevasse. Tarok is 20 feet from the nothic, on the west side of the crevasse. Argos, Cinis, and Sildar are 15 feet from the nothic, on the east side of the crevasse, but require 50 feet of movement to reach it.
OOC: I am able to follow the tracking just fine. I have a roll20 account too, and I'm happy to use that or screenshots of that if it is easier somehow. But I have no issue with the text descriptions.
Tarok strides forward, driving his sword toward the loathsome creature on the ground. Despite it's cowering position, he knows better than to underestimate a dangerous foe. He feels a surge of hatred for the creature, having seen it casting some foul magic with it's great, lurid eyeball toward his Dwarven companion. He sweeps his giant blade a second time, in an overhead slice toward his enemy. "Go back to whatever foul pit you come from, monster!" he barks down at it.
OOC: Since the nothic is prone, both attacks are at advantage.
Attack 1: Higher of 20 or 14 Attack 2: Higher of 12 or 19
Tarok hacks into the creature with his greatsword. Foul-smelling blood flies through the air along with chunks of nothic flesh. Its rage is apparent to Tarok, who now hears it shouting against the pain in his mind, a horrid, scratchy roar as the nothic struggles against the magic commanding him.
Round 2 Order: Nothic Players <===== Argos, Cinis, Nemean and Sildar are up
OOC: Since the nothic is prone, ranged attacks are at disadvantage.
Longbow Attack at Disadvantage: Lower of 5 or 16
Upon letting go of the bowstring, Argos tweaks a muscle, taking 4 damage. The sudden twinge of pain causes the arrow to shoot upwards, into the ceiling.
Round 2 Order: Nothic Players <===== Cinis, Nemean and Sildar are up
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nemean sees the monstrous creature fall to the ground and takes several quick slashes, trying to take full advantage of the magical command. He uses his action surge to add another fierce strike on his backswing with the scimitar in his right hand.
Scimitar 1 Attack: 9 Damage: 6
Scimitar 2 Attack: 11 Damage: 6
Action Surge Attack: 25 Damage: 11
OOC: I think the tracking is fine the way it is, but I wouldn't be opposed to taking a look at what we can do with some roll20 maps from it either. It does get a little tough to visualize sometimes, but I don't think its a big deal.
Sildar Heavy Crossbow Attack: 16 Claws Attack at Nemean: 13 Claws Attack at Nemean: 16

Disadv. for one round
Sildar fires a bolt that skips off the stone well behind the nothic, which stands up with hatred in its eyes. With one arm hanging limply, it swings its claws wildly at Nemean, who easily sidesteps the frustrated swings. Nemean's head is filled with a furious roar.
The nothic stands, glaring at Nemean with a terrifying smile. Its claws raise for another attack, as Argos's arrow drives through one side of its face and out the other. It remains in a stare at Nemean for a moment, as if willing itself to stay alive, then falls dead face first into the stone floor.
OOC: Each character has received 90 XP for defeating the nothic.
Tracking: The image below shows the parts of the hideout you have been through; the cavern, the storeroom, Glasstaff's quarters and workshop, the Redbrand room, and the bugbear room. The red circle shows the position of the dead nothic. Beside the hallways you have been through, there is a hallway that heads east out of the cavern.
Nemean growls and stabs at the creature once more letting out his aggression, his fur which was standing on edge during the combat slowly settles down into its natural state. He paces as his adrenalin wears off. “Nice shot Argos!” After a few deep breaths he looks towards the east and nods in the direction of the unexplored hallway leading out of the cavern.
”Lets press on.” He then turns to Droop, “Any surprises over there you want to tell us about? Or does that way take us out of this place?”
OOC: At first I thought we would have to log into Roll20, but if you can post those types of images in here relatively easily, I think that would be super helpful.
"I say we leave this place. We have Droop. He can help us track down that Black Spider. I'd rather not risk anymore danger if we don't have to," Cinis says, standing up straight.
