Tarok holds his sword at the ready, following along with the others.
"I think we can rest a time if we need to recuperate. But I'm also of the opinion that we should clear this place out. The influence this gang have had on the town is too strong, we can't risk anyone slipping through our fingers." Tarok says in a low growl.

“Can’t be many of them left, we’ve already cut down the bugbears and Glasstaff himself.” Nemean then turns to Droop, “You say they took prisoners here? Do you know why the gang was taking so many prisoners in the first place?”

Argos turns back to the rest of the party. "There's some hinges here. There must be a hidden door in the wall. I'm gonna try to open it. Be ready for anything." Argos inspects the wall for any way to open the door.
The door swings open easily enough, into a large cellar with stone steps ascending to a five-foot-wide landing in two short flights. Doors exit east from the landing and west from the floor, and there is another door beneath the stairs to the north. A large stone cistern occupies the western part of the room, whose walls are lined with kegs and barrels.
"Alright, let's move in." Argos draws his other shortsword and slowly moves into the center of the room, looking into the cistern as he walks by. "Let's take the northern passage. I have no reasoning, I just feel like we should take it."

“This place is bigger than I thought!” Cries Nemean as he steps into the chamber. He wanders through and curiously examines the room.
Upon hearing Argos, Nemean swiftly makes his way to the northern door. He looks at it for a few moments, then he perked up and turned around. “Droop! Come as you are, as you were.” He points towards the door “Walk through and pretend you got just wandered off and got lost. I’ll sneak by behind you, we’ll protect you from whatever’s in there.”
Examining the cistern, Argos sees the rectangular reservoir is clean and filled with cold, fresh water. It appears to be around 10 feet deep with a rim 2 feet higher than the surrounding floor, which would make the bottom of the cistern 8 feet lower than the floor.
"Okay!" Droop says, happy to oblige his newer, friendlier masters. He opens the door to the north, saying, "Oh no, Droop need to do duty but Droop take a left turn at eyeball monster -- oh, it just wall." Following behind him, Nemean sees a somber hallway. Thick dust covers the the flagstones, the walls are decorated with faux columns every 10 feet, and the double doors at the west end of the hall are sheathed in copper plate; they are green with age. A relief carving of a mournful angel graces the doors.

Argos heads for the northern doorway and into the hall. "Alright Droop, let's do that again. Head through the next door and get anyone who's through it off guard, I'll give you a snack if you do."
Droop seems happy in his new role, nodding his head repeatedly and trotting down the hallway. He struggles a bit to open the large doors, but squeezes through.
"Hey Redpeople, Mosk say Mosk need-- oh, is just dust. Does this mean Droop no get snack? Droop hungry..." he calls out from the other side of the doorway.
Argos moves into the room, shortswords drawn, to confirm Droop's observation. "I'll give it to you when we get outta here, first let's search the rest of this place."

Before the door can be opened, the floor opens underneath Argos, collapsing the breakaway timbers that were hiding beneath the loose stone tiles. The deft ranger is able to just catch the edge before falling 20 feet to the dirt floor belong.
Tracking: Argos is hanging precariously from the lip of the pit. The pit is ten feet wide, ten feet across, leaving only a narrow ledge to the north and south.
"That take you to scary place and prisoner place! Droop not see it much," Droop says.

"Well, I say we head on down that hallway. They may have some prisoners there that need to be freed."
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
The hallway turns south and then east again, continuing for 25 feet before ending at a wall.
"That weird. Droop think this way where prisoners go before," Droop says, scratching his head.
Argos, however, can see a set of iron hinges hidden on the side of the stone wall, indicating that this hallway's "end" may be a concealed door.
