Grindal has been waiting this whole time for either of the people he's asked questions to to answer him. Apparently not getting a response, he grumbles his way up to his room and locks his door for the night.
The man stares at Grindal for a full minute before clapping a hand on his shoulder. He begins to make a roaring sound like a bear in pain, which you soon realize is laughter. "Come, come my insulting friend, let me buy you a pint." He roars for two mugs of ale which the barmaid promptly brings, and hands one to Grindal. "You're a right fellow," He says, still chuckling. "As to this Gundren, I have heared of that name. He's looking to do some prospecting, if I am correct."
(Ooc: I think this was an answer to your last post maybe?)
OOC: Ah, 'tis! My apologies, looks like there were a couple hours between the original post and the edit, I never saw that the question got a response in the edit.
"So ye'll be wantin' yer rooms, I'm expecting?" Asks the innkeeper, walking up. He is a short man with red hair and a beaming face. "It isn't every day that I have honest-to-goodness adventurers stayin' at me humble inn."
"Toblen's me christened name. Now, follow me and I'll show ye to your rooms."
He walks up a flight of rough wooden stairs and shows you to four decently furnished and comfortable rooms, all with a fireplace, bed, chest, desk, chair, and window overlooking the rest of Phandalin.
The time is about 3:00 in the afternoon, and the sun still shines jovially on the little village of Phandalin.
I set up my alchemal tools and wait for the boiling water I ordered to arrive. (OOC: is there any thing more we want to discuss, or should we fast forward to tomorrow?)
Elsa soon arrives with a pot of recently boiled water, which she sets down on Tannen's desk before hurrying off distractedly.
Night falls quickly, enevloping the town in evening shade. The waxing moon shines dully, obscured by clouds. The streets slowly empty until only a few late-night loungers leaning on doorways are left to populate the streets.
I wake up well rested and head downstairs to wait for the rest to wake, at which point I suggest that we head off to the town-master's hall first thing.
In a short time you are all comfortably seated at a small table with mugs of tea or coffee, of your choosing. It is about 8:00 in the morning, and few of your fellow lodgers are up at this time, but the town itself is once again bustling, and ready to be explored.
A few miners nod to you on their way to work, and you even spot a fellow halfling working on his vegetable garden. The town, while not quiet, is pleasantly noisy. The smell of fresh-baked bread and bacon reaches our nostrils, and your stomach growls, empty save for a solitary cup of tea. The townmasters hall is but a house away from the inn you are staying at, and you soon reach its wooden doors, flung open to let in the warm spring air.

"Quite right. We've had a rough day and too much alcohol."
"A room would be grand sir, what is your name?"
Trombin asks kindly.

(OOC: I'm ok with jumping to the following morning.)

Trombin wakes up and runs downstairs. He orders tea from the bar and waits to head to the town-master with the rest of his party.

Trombin finished his tea and headed to the town masters hall.

Grindal is going to walk around town and ask about Gundren - if anybody has seen him around and where he may be.

I set off with Trombin, keeping to myself and avoiding small talk.
Most of the men and women who Grindal questions have certainly heard the name of Gundren, but they have not seen him in town for several weeks.
