(Let's see... Camus brought traveler's cloths (including a cloak and woolen breeches), and any exposed body parts are currently wrapped in bandages, so he should be in pretty good shape for the weather.)
"I'm doing alright," Camus tells Drake, then quickly adds. "Of course, it could be because the illness took my sense of touch years ago... Chlorys, how are you feeling?"

"Well, my ability to feel isn't totally gone," Camus says. "But close to it. If I were to break a bone I would certainly feel that, and I still have the kinesthetic sense of where in space my limbs are, but most of the sensations of the skin are long gone. Did you know it isn't the disease itself that causes deformity? It is the fact that we can hurt ourselves without even knowing it. As for how I'm able to move about at all... well, the answer is 'a lot of practice.'"

Vestments of Luthic include bear fur cloak and hat, so Von is looking very Russian in her attempts to brave the cold.
She trots over to wherever Bard's walking. "Amiable job with those worms last night. While I admire anyone testing their bodies against the elements, if you want to spice up your routine, I have some tricks that could keep you warm."
Drake grimaces sympathetically. "That sounds terrible. I'm sorry." They turn back to driving the cart, falling to silence.
Meanwhile, Chlorys feels the cold bite into her bones. Her home town, having a strong magic-user presence, was often magically heated. Thus she did not have to dress quite as warmly as someone like Von, who made her home in the freezing wastes, and her clothes provide her with little insulation. She gains a point of exhaustion from extreme cold.
Speaking of Von, this is nothing more than a normal day for her. Bard glances down at her, then returns his gaze forward. "I am warm enough." He says no more.
The caravan moves onward, but as Von looks about, she realizes that there are a couple of specks orbiting high above. Focusing her eyes, she realizes that they are ravens. High above, following the caravan, and yet there's no trace of death in sight.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Von's going to jog back over to Drake and her squad and point them out, glancing up and down the caravan to see if anyone is attracting birds. ""You don't think our avian escort above are because of our last battle, do you? We didn't cause that much carrion and those acidic worms were hardly edible."
(What are you attempting to do with the checks? I can't do much with a flat check without an intent or action behind it.)
Drake peers up, and frowns. "I-I have no idea. If anything, they'd be circling the campsite, right? I really couldn't tell you what they're doing here."
Bard, on the other hand... doesn't move his face at all. Of course he doesn't, that's what Bard does. All he says is the following: "Two for joy. Doubtful. I dislike ravens."

Von is going to run off the side of the caravan for about 25ft to inspect the local wildlife, looking for any carnivore tracks, road kill, or predators that would attract ravens.
Chlorys does nothing except going back and forth between grumbling loudly, complaining to no one in particular or mumbling to herself, still complaining. "Didn't want to come" and "bad idea" are key phrases heard if any one had been paying attention, which she really doubts anyone has. It's not like she has made any friends and she surely made herself an enemy. She glares at the back of Bard, her disdain for this particular human leaving a bitter taste in her mouth.
Casting presidigitation on her cloak to warm it up as best as she can she wraps it around herself. Hopefully that'll last until they can get in front of a fire. If not she'll just cast again within the hour.
Also rolling for a nature check 18 trying to recall if there's anything in particular about this climate and a history check 14 if there is anything about the land that she's read about in books
Camus notices that Chlorys is slowly turning blue, and, after a few moments, realizes that elves aren't supposed to do that. He pulls out a spare set of cloths (his necromancer robes which he is not currently wearing because he is in disguise...) and shakes some of the dust/spiders/bits of his decayed flesh out of them before offering them to Chlorys so she'll at least have an extra layer of cloth between her and the elements until we get somewhere warmer.
Before anything exciting happens I’m going to find the rest of our squad and pitch the idea of trying to find out what we’re escorting.
“Hey fellas, before things get interesting again I think we should try and figure out what we’re escorting. What do you say? I’d like to know what we’re killing ourselves over.”
"I agree entirely," Camus whispers back. "But, just as important, we need to get that damned ring off you... because I think our elf has had enough of this so-called 'adventure'..."

“If it’s something valuable we could boost it and be set for life, or for however long your alive, Camus. Granted we could rob the recipient and be busted in another town. Or I could send for my tribe and maybe they could “intercept” us and we could split the spoils! It’s got to have some value since we’re escorting it but if it has no value to us I’d rather keep peace.”
Von gives Chlorys her Bear fur hat and puts up her cloak hood.
"I say," Chlorys responds through chattering teeth, "We wait until we stop, I'll offer up a few gold coins, say it's game, remove the ring without causing pain or having a boobytrap go off.... and they can keep the coin. Later on after we've been able to rest, we investigate and then get out of here, the quicker the better. Thar is not a friendly place...."
"Sounds like a plan." At the repeated warnings about Thar, Von starts to realize that without her tribe things could get squishy. She casts a sending to her first born.
In caravan. Day and a half's walk from Melvaunt to Glister. Assistance needed. 3 melee 4 ranged. Possible husband material here for you. love you.

Largely, Chlorys' studies have told her the following about Thar.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."

(That combined with the prestidigitation will keep Chlorys warm enough. Still freezing cold, but she's not going to die.)
(Are we good to move on? Also let me know if I should stop asking if we're good to move on and just move it on when I feel it's appropriate)
