"Hmm..." Angiro looks over at the gate. "Shall we wait til morning or shall we tend with this now? I would rather us rest." He looks anxious due to the goblin fights that he and the group had just encountered, and now there is someone at the gate.

“Yes, I think we need the rest. We can’t really afford another conflict. I’d be willing to take my rest up in the gate tower to make sure the bridge stays closed.”

"Will you be able to get rest next to the gate if those on the other side are making a fuss. Plus that gate didn't do a great job of keeping the Giants or goblins out. We could barricade ourselves up in the inn or any of these other buildings."

The thrill of fighting has awaken my senses I am feeling pretty good but man that arrow is a bit annoying.

“I imagine the goblins came in when the bridge was down, and if we’re dealing with more chances, I’m not sure the inn will serve as refuge either. I’d rather keep it up, and hold whoever this is at bay. I’m open to a conversation with them, I guess, but I doubt it’s worth risking our security by lowering the bridge for them.”

"Perhaps those are some reinforcements coming. Goblin don't usually use horses, do they" Aelar puts forward.

"Well let's head into the inn, and as we rest one of us should keep watch. I can take the first one." Angiro suggests as he walks towards the inn. He continues to watch the gate as he holds the door for the others.

Keyrona to Aelar, “I think we are too vulnerable to take the risk of letting in a cavalry, regardless of if they are human, elf, or orc. Let’s secure the town and heal ourselves before we introduce other variables.”

As you're headed back to the Inn, you start to hear shouts from the gate. Something about lowering the bridge. When Angiro holds the door to the Inn open for the others, Kella will brush past the group and starts walking to the gate. "I wonder who that could be?" Her words are short and slightly stilted, said more to alleviate concerns of what she's doing rather than an actual question.

[OOC] I do apologize for the length of time I've been away from this thread. I needed to collect myself a bit, lots going on at home.

"As long as they aren't giants, I'm not too worried. But we can secure the town if you want." Aelar says with a wry wink.  He turns to the newcomer, Kella "Sounds like horsemen. Are you expecting anyone?" he inquires.

"No? But it wouldn't hurt to see who it is, wouldn't it? I mean, doesn't sound like more goblins to me."

 "Okay. Let us see who is at the gate. Follow me if you wish." Angiro slowly approaches the gates keeping an ear out for voices. He creeps up at the right side gate tower and climbs it. As he approaches the top he peeks out trying not to be seen.

[OOC] Sorry about the radio silence in this thread. I kinda bit off more than I could chew with things here and home life and such. I'm not so sure it would be a good idea for me to keep running a game. Though maybe we can simply put this on hiatus for a bit until things calm down for me? Or we can disband. I'll let you guys vote on that.

[ooc] It looks like most members left the campaign, so I also pulled my character out. I would, however, be up for continuing if you (Wibbly) ever decide to continue SKT.
