Eclaire had looked at Eric and Ram again still beside Tala. Eric had done his best to remember this mountain.. He knew it was a large mountain near the capital it had some legend or other tied to it but it was hard to recollect one specific story in a world full of that sorta thing. As for trying to gain a beat on the thug? It was hard to tell, he seemed he could be honest and remorseful but for someone like Eric it was hard to put to rest the doubt that he could indeed be lying.
"Aye, I'm all in finishing our mission, let's just hope there ain't more comin' this way. After that ... from the sound of it, this Virro fellow ain't sound like the kind to give up. Might be worth watching our backs."
Goramar's eyes widened as he heard a voice behind him. How did this man escape his attention ? Soon however, he recognized the sigil and relaxed. Somewhat. He kept blinking for a moment in disbelief before Eric's voice brought him back to attention.
"Not foe, which is appreciated." he mutters back.
He walks towards the newcomer.
"Hail Watcher. Aye, that would be me. You're from Shadowlight I take it ?
He then glances at his companions. At all the mess. At the prisonner. At the fact he might very be well be covering a thief. And he suppresses a wince, instead trying to play it smart.
"Nay, I ain't official yet. This is my group of ... independent contracters. Had a job in the area but somewhat found even more trouble than 'xpected. That's on me and I'd rather not involve the Order in that. Maybe keep my distance 'til it's sorted out."
He frowns, suddenly studying the man.
"On the other hand, if you're here ... on a mission are you ? You're after the ruins too ?"
"Aye from Shadow light lad! Ahh.. Still working hard on it huh? Well I'll be glad to welcome you on the force when the time comes!!"
The man seems a bit confused when Ram had asked him about the ruins.
"Ruins? Ahh no, I just heard reports of a group of ruffians heading in the forest here. It seems however.. You all beat me to the punch, damn shame I was hoping to knock some heads around but you all seemed to do well enough on you're own! I'm rather impressed I must say. You all are making way for the ruins than I take it? I'd be careful the place is known to have traps and strange beast lurking.
Eric relaxes, his hand moving away from the rapier hilt, and joins Ram in the conversation with the newcomer.
- It's a good thing you didn't have to fight them, I think. They weren't that easy to bring down - he thinks about asking if there's any kind of reward for them, but it doesn't seem like a good idea to do it with one of them still around.
(OOC: Cause he's still with us right? Not sure...)
- In any case, do you have more details on those traps and beasts you mentioned? It could help us be more prepared when we reach the ruins.
The man had chuckled as Eric mentioned the lack of ease throughout the battle, Eclaire had looked at the man inquisitively.
"Than they would have made for a fine hunt yes? I'd have relished in such a trial, though it seems it was not meant to be. As for details I only know of the rumors I myself have never traversed the ruins. I love a good hunt and a fine battle, but crawling into such dark and rank places isn't exactly my idea of a fair day's hunt."
OOC The one talking? Yeah he is still tied up with you all I don't think he's been let free yet.
