As the creature continues to ignore them and begins to flicker in agitation, Thatch remembers the last time he crossed paths with an angry spirit. The memory of the shadow blade in his gut fresh in his mind, he moves away from the spirit and attempts to hide in the ruins next to the doorway, one hand on his gladius. “Be careful, I think we are making her angry.”

(two more days till get Famh's character sheet back, pls add her adjustment for me to an Initiative roll of 6

Cainneach fired his bow at the first hint of aggression his heart in his throat as he noted the stone stairs, darkness and a spectral enemy so similar to when Dru had fallen....Thatch slipped aside and disappeared into the shadows as Cainneachs shaft punched through the vaporous form.
The womans face distorted into a gaping maw and she flickered dropping through the balcony to appear before the group, reaching out to draw Ori into a horrific ' kiss'.
(Assuming the blow lands and there is room behind her)
The weight of the blow pushes the creature back from Ori 5' (Crusher feat). Ori straightens up and starts winding up for his next shot (no movement and no BA this turn)
Almeric is shocked at the speed of the Spectre's attack, moving through solid stone and landing right before them. Sword and shield at the ready, he stands by Ori to offer support and cover as the large barbarian readies his was club. Holding his shield high, Almeric thrusts with his sword at the creature. Crying a Capellar prayer, Almeric channels the holy power of Gatanades through his blade.
Longsword = 15. Assuming this is a hit, Almeric will use Divine Smite. Damage = 6 Slash, 15 Radiant
Fergus was tired of these undead ignoring them. His ace up his sleeve failed miserably in the Del, he would not make the same mistake again. "Begone!"he calls out. Gathering energy in his hand, he blasts it towards the spectre but it moves too fast, his shot missing wildly. Only then does he notice his face is hurting, a sick grin stretched across his face that was not his own. He grimaces in reaction to both this and his miss.

Tana quickly shuffles back from the scene, tensing as the woman shifts and morphs. Normally icy blue eyes seem to flicker with a blazing flame, the tips of her fingers igniting unnaturally in the din of the room. A burst of flame comes forth, launching itself toward the spectre with a careful flick of Tana's hand.
Oren ducked aside from the deathly spirit his huge war-club disrupting its form from head to toe, Fergus sent a blast of black roiling energy which blew apart a chunk of stone.
Tana set the spirit aflame as Sir Almerics blade, perhaps blessed by the sainted remains, cut through dissolving the shade into tatters of white and gold that faded away.
The scream that rips from Famh's throat as the spectre attacks is like nothing anyone present has ever heard before, and she flings herself forward without hesitation with hands already reaching to lash her blade to her staff and a deeper self spinning ever-multiplying threads of multicoloured light from those busy fingers {readying chaos bolt}. She'd just promised Cainneach she would never let the bad ghosts hurt him again, and the first thing that happens is a bad ghost trying to hurt him and all her other friends into the bargain! She wonders momentarily if she does bear some kind of faerie curse after all.
But she is also aware of Cainneach now in a way she had not been before, and her body checks itself instinctively just before she becomes a hindrance to his shot. Her magic, too, seems to sense the destruction of the ghost moments before it comes to pass. The tendrils of light retreat back into her hands; and she is left standing a few paces in front and to the left of Cainneach staring at the spot where the spectre stood. Her fingers are still busily lashing her sgeain dhu to the head of her short staff; and she looks over her shoulder to say brightly to Cainneach, "Well, this is a good reminder! I should have done this before we left the ship!" before bursting into tears.
Almeric exhales and re-examines his longsword. "Blessed be Saint Ambrosius, my protector and my guide!" kissing the blade after the benediction.
*Edit* Almeric is suddenly aware of the presence of a whirling dervish, where once a small girl stood. He pauses, looking from Fahm to Cairneach and back. When did this happen? Why didn't Fergus tell me? I will speak with him later. He thinks
Nodding to himself in self assurance, he looks up the stairs. "Perhaps the Spirit was guarding something up there, protecting it from Karvala maybe?" He said, to no one in particular.
"We should clear the tower to cover our withdrawal." Almeric nods to Cairneach to lead, standing closely behind the highlander as they climb the stairs.
The narrator was correct in that Cainneach's heart rate leapt as the parallels between their current challenge and the one in which his beloved mentor perished sprung to the front of his mind. The other issue was the recurring, seeming absence of effect from his thoroughly normal arrow. He then watched in horror as the wretch vanished in Ori's direction.

Cainneach steps toward Famh and grand her shoulder to steady her as she appears to be struggling to maintain both her composure and whatever magic was coursing through her. He whispers kindly in her ear, "Oh Famh, you're doing wonderfully! At least your magic would have torn through that wraith with power. We'll keep each other safe, whatever it takes, and the rest as well."
"We should clear the tower to cover our withdrawal." Almeric nods to Cairneach to lead, standing closely behind the highlander as they climb the stairs.
Cainneach lets go of Famh, gives Almeric a grim nod, draws both of his swords after stashing his bow, and begins to ascend the stairs.
As Cainneach and Almeric ascend the stairs they note that many of the stones shift and move under their feet alarmingly, reaching the top of the short flight they see that left will take them onto the 'balcony' the shade had stood upon whereas right leads to the remainder of the fortress, but it can be seen that almost all of the roof has collapsed inward and many of the walls sag and list dangerously...heading that way is fraught with danger.
Looking at the balcony a small shrine can be seen on the other side of it with a number of objects tucked inside but it will mean crossing the balcony to reach them.
(I think your held action wouldn't get trigger until the girl attacks if she does on her turn since your move is after her)
(I'm sure the Baron would have been happy with the stuff that Cainneach found, but what's the fun in not risking our lives? ;-)

"Maybe she was bound to that rock" Fergus consoles himself looking blankly at the rubble his miss had made.
Following the Sir Almeric from a safe distance, he waits for an all clear to proceed.
He checks around for hidden traps or enemies.
(Investigation: 16. If Fergus is told about the items, can he reach and lift them with Mage Hand?)
