What the hell are they doing to me with their hands! I'm getting tired of this! Ori pulls himself back up to his feet swinging the spiked greatclub around one more time, sure that blasted bearded bugger can't take much more of a beating from Ori, Ori himself surely couldn't take more of whatever the man is doing to him. Swinging from the ground, crossbody, like he was uppercutting the man with his club he is going to try and end the man.
Oris blow came across and up, the projections of the club hooked under and tore into the underside of the mans jaw ripping it upward and snapping his head back at an unnatural angle, the man fell dead to the ground in an instant.
The Harbinger behind him goggled then immediately turned to flee....
(OOC: dram, poor Ori! First the fachan knocks him around and now this guy! A nice and well deserved finisher blow for the big guy at last, for the second time in as many ... um, how long have we been traveling by this point from Morstead. D_M? )
( Essentially 2 days from Marrowglen towards Beltayne at this point, entering into the more pastoral part of your journey as you draw nearer to civilisation.)
The man staggered back was already preparing to flee seeing the Elder fall to Ori.
The Harbinger to the north burst out of the northern side of the woods in confusion and annoyance and began circling back south around the edge of the woods.....he had not yet seen the Elder fall.
The Harbinger to the south bolted southward as far as his legs would carry him..... ( Dash - 60ft South)
Cainneach is amazed at both the resilience and the violence that Ori is bringing to the fight, with the massive man, Almeric, and Vardi caught up in the thick of it. It seemed like this Digby fellow might be the least of their worries, with the reviled Harbingers wreaking havoc on the party. The forester was also keenly aware of the wounds he had suffered and feared another shot would put him on his back. Salt had come to his side, though Cainneach dearly wished to keep his faithful companion out of the fray. He could sense that the hound was ready to be unleashed on the Harbingers, but that will be saved as a last resort. Instead, Cainneach will move to the cover of the forest (level w/Thatch, three squares east), then take aim at the Harbinger that had just emerged from the woods (Harbinger to the north, assuming line of sight). Trying to ignore the searing pain of his wounds, he focuses on this re-emerged foe, then looses another arrow across the battlefield.
Bonus Action - shift Hunter's Mark to Harbinger North (CON save for Concentration in Campaign Log - 12)
Longbow - Attack vs. Harbinger North: 27, damage (piercing): 16 w/Hunter's Mark
(Forgot to say Cainneach saw the Harbinger South flee, but elected to let him go, and told Salt to stay with him as he moved into the woods ...)
Seeing his target badly stricken by his shot, Cainneach calls out to the others, "Let us try to capture their leader, we will want answers for his association with these reprehensible folk!"
Ori is back to making death saves.
Almeric again wheels and pulls Ori to his feet, " No laying about on the job, theres miscreants to pummel."
Action- Lay on Hands- 5 hp to Ori.
Bonus Action- Help Ori- Fey Gift - + 3 temp hp to Ori.
( Vardi and Ori are Up.)
