Gavin looks at the disc, “Isn’t the goddess of joy’ symbolized by the stars and a triangle? I am unsure of what the other symbol represents.” He thinks back on his limited knowledge of other religions
Religion check: 3
His thinking face hurts too much so he stops thinking
The disk clearly is radiating some slight magical charge. The design on the front, however is completely foreign to you, as is whatever purpose the disk has.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While the dragonborn looks at the coin with a puzzled look on his face, Kathra thinks back to the stories her tribe told her on the mountain. Had they ever mentioned a symbol like this before?
Mirabel shakes his head. "I don't know that spell. Is that a spell?" He snorts. "If we were back home I could tell you which god and what he had for breakfast, but your gods are all strange here."
Peren says “the only time I saw a religious artifacts, was when I was contracted to steal them” “I had no need to know anything about them just what they looked like”
Frustrated, Gavin suggests a course of action, “I recommend we take the disc and go visit Elder Merrik. He may have some local knowledge that we obviously are oblivious to. After a nights rest I will return to see if I can detect magic in the remains of the temple. Until then we should speak to the elder, the person with the halfling body, and see what the locals that congregate at the well can tell us. Maybe it’s another religion that didn’t want competition???”
For Thont:
There's a small graveyard to the south of the temple ruins. It's not hard to pick out the marker and freshly dug grave that Aria now rests under.
Thont’s brow raises at the disc. With little arcane background he notes the imagery but looks to others to probe any potential arcane qualities.
Thont notes the location of Aria’s resting place, but will leave further investigation until after the manor.
Mirabel distractedly waves at Kathra. "Yes, yes, of course, only there's... this... dust..." He leans down to more closely examine it.
Arcana: 1
Mirabel sneezes.
((Whoops, my bad. Are you looking at the dust or the disk more closely?))
Glittering dust flies everywhere and you lose sight of much of it as it spreads out across the ground and is no longer in a concentrated area.
Kathra raises an eyebrow at the display. "Of course there's dust. A temple got destroyed. Buildings usually raise dust when they get destroyed."
Gavin looks at the disc, “Isn’t the goddess of joy’ symbolized by the stars and a triangle? I am unsure of what the other symbol represents.” He thinks back on his limited knowledge of other religions
Religion check: 3
His thinking face hurts too much so he stops thinking
For Gavin:
Looking around at the iconography in the rubble, you know Lliira's holy symbol looks like this:
How that relates to the odd symbol on the disk you have no idea.
Mirabel rubs his nose and wanders over to Kathra. "Yes, of course, dust."
He leans over to investigate the disc for magical nonsense.
Arcana (again): 8
((FRIGGING REALLY?))
((I'm sorry....so sorry....))
For Mirabel:
The disk clearly is radiating some slight magical charge. The design on the front, however is completely foreign to you, as is whatever purpose the disk has.

Religion: 3
...Probably not.
Mirabel, do you have detect magic spell handy? If not we can come back tomorrow after I ask for Tempus blessing.
Also, anyone else able to do a reliable religion check on the disc?
do any of the workers know what the disc is? We should also show it to the Elder
For Kathra:
Yeah, this looks way more complex that the usual rudimentary drawings in the dirt during story circle time that you were used to.
Kathra shrugs. "This is beyond my knowledge." She lets the statement hang in the air a bit and clarifies. "My people were not particularly religious."
Mirabel shakes his head. "I don't know that spell. Is that a spell?" He snorts. "If we were back home I could tell you which god and what he had for breakfast, but your gods are all strange here."
Peren says “the only time I saw a religious artifacts, was when I was contracted to steal them” “I had no need to know anything about them just what they looked like”
None of the workers have ever seen the disk before. They don't think it was ever at the church for as far back as they could remember.
Frustrated, Gavin suggests a course of action, “I recommend we take the disc and go visit Elder Merrik. He may have some local knowledge that we obviously are oblivious to. Peren agrees with Gavin, we should take the disk and visit Elder Merrik
"Well, so long as we're all agreed." Mirabel picks up the odd disc and stows it in his pack. "Let's go and speak with this Elder."
