21 - Eithne, having found her balance, attempts to Shove her opponent. In this she succeeds. With her shove, the Druid gets tangled up in her own cloak and tips over into the wine vat (Nat 1). Eithne, thinking quickly, closes the lid of the vat.
...
(LOL! I wasn't counting on it too much, but I'm really glad I managed to pass on some bad luck to Ms Tarzan! I'm still here laughing imagining the scene!)
Bran lowers his hand and clicks his tongue, annoyed by the fact that his mockery has not caused the desired effect. Still, he wil try again to assist his friends in defeating the invaders, but following a different approach this time. What if .... instead of helping bring them down, he helps lifting his friends spirits up? He focuses on Eithne, that has had hard a particularly hard time with the female druid. Though she has finally thrown her inside the fermentation vat, rendering her unable to attack them, a nice cheer may help her during the rest of the combat.
- Aaaand down you go, enjoy that BIG cup of poisoned wine! - he says, refering to the druid, and then adds -Nicely done, Eithne!
...
"Really!" Eithne finds a moment to smile at Bran, clearly galvanized by his approval (and by her success) "We can really say that that corruptress of nature has reaped the rewards of her work!"
(OOC: looking at the map, I just realized that there doesn't seem to be any barrels up where Lucian and Eithne are. So I guess my plan won't work anyways. ...man I thought that was a good plan :'D. If there are some barrels up there that I just don't see on the map, then I would like to keep that action in spite of my 7 on strength, but I'll roll an attack in case there really are no barrels up there.)
Attack just in case (still Round 2)
Dagger: (thrown down at the twig blight at the bottom of the stairs): Attack: 15 Damage: 4
(So... are we back at the top of the round? I got a bit lost...)
Maybe the DM must take some raven/twig turn, then yes, we'll be top of next round. All of us player character should have finalized already all our round 2 action
Round 2: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)
22 - Chara sees herself surrounded by the twig monsters and leaps into the sky or, more specifically, the rafters of the room. She then casts Hex on the Druid.
22 - Cole runs to the spot Charajust left and, casting Shillelagh on his quarterstaff, attacks one of the groups of twig monsters, crushing one of the twig creatures with his staff. Typhoon carefully watches the Druid to avoid an attack.
21 - Eithne, having found her balance, attempts to Shove her opponent. In this she succeeds. With her shove, the Druid gets tangled up in her own cloak and tips over into the wine vat (Nat 1). Eithne, thinking quickly, closes the lid of the vat.
19 - Ravens 1 attack the same group of twig blights, killing another.
18 - Lennswings at the twig monsters with his sword, but his aim is too high and the little creatures scatter out of the way.
16 - Lucianlooks around for a barrel to throw, but not finding any decides to throw his dagger instead. It slams into one of the twig blights at the bottom of the stairs, neatly bisecting it.
16 - Nikolai'sfrosty ray fails to hit a target as the little twigs scatter out of the way of the blast.
16 - Ravens 2 strike out at Twig Blights 2, tearing another of the little creatures apart.
16 - Stickmen 1 dash into the house, through the loading dock, and into the fermentation room.
15 - Brantakes the javelin in hand, attempting to use it as a short spear. However, it is awkward and he doesn't yet have the feel of it. He is unable to hit any of the twig creatures. (Actually, you are flanking the twig blights, if you want to roll with advantage; retconning your turn is fine).
15 - You hear loud cursing from inside the fermentation vat that the druid is trapped inside. But, at the moment, they appear to remain trapped inside (a second nat 1).
12 - Ravens 3 strike out at the Twig Blights between Cole and Bran, destroying another twig blight.
12 - Stickmen 2 dash toward the winery and begin to pound on the sliding doors leading to the northern patio.
11 - Twig Blights 4 wait until Swarm of Ravens 4 attack them.
9 - Stickmen 3 dash toward the winery
9 - Stickmen 4 dash toward the winery
8 - Twig Blights 1 - attempt to attack Lenn and one hits, doing 4 hp of slashing damage by finding a seam between Lenn's boots and shin guards.
6 - Twig Blights 2 - attempt to attack Cole and one hits, climbing up Cole's leg and swiping at his thigh, causing 4 hp of slashing damage
4 - Stickmen 5 dash toward the winery and begin to pound on the western door
4 - Stickmen 6 begin to enter the loading dock of the winery
3 - Ravens 4 attack the twig blights to their west, destroying one of the little creatures. The twig blights fight back, hitting twice and killing 1 of the ravens.
3 - Twig Blights 3 attack Ravens 3. You see a flurry of feathers and wooden claws and, when the chaos ends, one of the ravens is wounded.
"Many enemies already inside, even more entering..." Eithne reflects aloud"We'd really need wide area damage..."
But this, of course, is not something she herself can provide - so the savage stranger quickly thinks about what she actually can do...
(OOC: @DM: Eithne might try to bring up one of the barrels downstairs, so to put it on the vat and seal the druid there until the end of time - the druid, even should she succeed in swimming without accidentally drinking poison, would never have the leverage to lift the vat's lid with a barrel on top of it - only wondering: there is actually room to bring one of them up -one of those right under Eithne, for example - or the big vats would not allow for a barrel to pass between vats and stairs?
I'm thinking about a path like this
And lifting and carrying a barrel, would slow Eithne down? If yes, by how much?)

Round 3
OK, if possible, this is what Eithne would like to do: from where she is now, upstairs, jump down to ground floor (using Acrobatics, if necessary, to land on her feet without damage), pick up an empty barrel (free object interaction) and use her movement (plus the dash action, if necessary) to go back up the ladder (following the path I traced in the image - it is ok to take attacks of opportunity, if needed), back to her starting position, and place the barrel on the vat's lid (or mount herself on the vat's lid, if it is quicker - she can deposit the barrel on the lid as next round free object interaction). The druid, trapped in poisoned wine, should not have the leverage to lift the lid, if there is a weight on it (pushing should just then make her go down, not the lid go up).
If instead the maneuver is not possible for some reason (if there is not enough space to pass between the stairs and the other vats while bringing the barrel... or for any other reason) Eithne will choose her actions differently.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Round 3)
Seeing that the twig blights don't seem to tough, Lucian considers joining the fray below. He could easily land several blows on those creatures if he got closer, and it would be much more effective than simply chucking his daggers. ...and he won't have to worry about loosing any more knives. Yet, if he took that risk and wound up losing control, then all of his friends would be trapped in this building with the Wolf and the twig creatures. Was it worth that risk?
He glances around, then notices Eithne searching for a way to get some weight onto the vat.
(If Eithne can try to get one of those barrels, Lucian will attempt to help her whenever she manages to get one onto this level. If she can't take that action, then I will retcon my current plan...)
(Assuming Eithne has moved to go get a barrel)
Lucian lets Eithne slip by him, and then moves to go stand on top of the barrel that is currently housing the druid. Hoping his weight will be enough in the meantime. This gives him a good vantage point above the battle below, and he takes note of all his comrades positions. Watching as Chara launches a blast down at the twig blight closest to her, and as Cole and his...fire familiar.... also land some solid blows, Lucian turns his attention to Twig blight 4 hoping to get rid of it so that Eithne can get her barrel with as little resistance as possible, and trusting that Bran can handle the other one. (if the staircase is in the way, and he can't reach 4, then he'll aim for 3 instead.)
Seeing that Twig Blights 2 are already being taken care of, Brandecides to whack at the same group Typhoon has burned (Twig Blights 1), hoping the party can finish the little wooden creatures before the bigger ones entering through the garage door actually reach them.
Round 3
Bonus Action: Nothing. Action: Attack with the spear. I've rolled twice in the game log as (I believe) I'm flanking. Attack: 16 (the second roll was lower). Damage = 7. Token updated.
Lucian lets Eithne slip by him, and then moves to go stand on top of the barrel that is currently housing the druid. Hoping his weight will be enough in the meantime....
Round 3(no actions, role-play only)
'Really a smart and kind boy...' thinks Eithne, seeing Lucian who understands her plan immediately and contributes to the best of his possibilities, without even needing her to tell him anything.
'Certainly!' the voices in her head are proud 'All in all, he's one of our kind...' 'Or at least he should…' '...Even if none of us remember him!' 'Anyway, it's true, he is smart and kind...'
Lenn grunts in frustration and tries again to cut the twig in front of him in half.
( 16 to hit 9 slashing damage )
"There are as many as evil intentions in the world " replies Lenn to Eithne's words. "But fear not. We will prevail even against the foulest will..."he says after finally hitting one of their many enemies.
Round 3: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)
22 - Floating above the fray, Charagathers purple energy in her hand and sends it streaking at Twig Blights 2, mulching all the remaining blights in that bunch.
22 - Cole calls Typhoon back to him and together they attack Twig Blights 1, kindling all but one of the remaining twig blights.
21 - (If EIthne attempts to jump down, that will be her Action (Acrobatics is fine) for this round. Picking up a barrel would be a free action (Object interaction), but, as explained in the OOC thread, she will lose 10 ft of movement)
We'll pause the action there while Eithnedecides what to do

Round 3
Eithne doesn't think it's too easy for the 'druid in the barrel' to be able to open the lid and get out... but she doesn't want to take that risk! She quickly looks around for something heavy to place on the lid (in this way, opening it from underneath, for a person immersed in wine, will become practically impossible - pushing would make the person get down, not the lid go up). There's nothing useful on this floor... but she well remembers that there are a good number of empty barrels just below!
"Lucian," announces the savage stranger, taking a sudden decision "I'm trying to carry a barrel to place on the lid... You, if you can, give me a hand! Be ready to come and get it!"
The next moment, the last of the dusk elf maidens is already diving below…
(LOL! I wasn't counting on it too much, but I'm really glad I managed to pass on some bad luck to Ms Tarzan! I'm still here laughing imagining the scene!)
"Really!" Eithne finds a moment to smile at Bran, clearly galvanized by his approval (and by her success) "We can really say that that corruptress of nature has reaped the rewards of her work!"
Lenn moves and tries to smash one of the twig things with his sword, but the thing is too small and he fails.

Okay, so the Druid's Strength has been Hexed... so she should be rolling with disadvantage trying to escape from the barrel. Nice!
