Eithne jumps down in a hurry, risking a bad landing, but her balance is practically perfect: she lands light and elegant like a butterfly.
The savage stranger quickly picks up an empty barrel and tries, as fast as she can, to climb the ramp again.
'Just have to move close enough for Lucian to come and get it...'
(OOC: Token moved on battle map. Took 4 steps - 20' instead of Eithne's usual 30' - one of the steps is a diagonal, I hope it is ok. During her movement Eithne passed near two of the small twigs, the two at the base of the ramp, so they can do an attack of opportunity vs her if they still have their reaction)
(I'm keeping Lucian's original idea of climbing onto the vat, since technically everything's happening at almost the same time, and that was the first thing that came to mind to help Eithene here.)
"Uh... I...I'll do my best," Lucian stammers, already in the process of climbing atop the vat and balancing as best he can with knife in hand. He scans the area, calculating the distance from where he is to the bottom of the stairs. Could he make it back there in time to take the barrel from Eithne?
He throws the dagger (it missed, going off my last post) then notices Eithne reaching the bottom of the stairs. Is there enough time to make it? He has to be fast about this, otherwise he'll screw up this whole plan!
Suddenly, he feels a burst of adrenaline as he jumps down from the vat and dashes down to grab the barrel from Eithne, struggles with it briefly, and then rushes it back up to the vat with all the haste he can muster.
Athletics to lift the barrel onto the vat: 7
(Step of the Wind)
(So my turn looks like: (moves 15ft to the vat. Action: throw dagger. Moves 15 feet to Eithne. Free action: takes barrel. Step of the wind: Bonus action: dash. Moves 15 feet back to the vat and attempts to lift the barrel on top of it.)
(We'll see how this goes!)
(OOC: Great teamwork! However, if I understand correctly, the athletics check was to lift the barrel out of Eithne's hands in case she passed it to you from downstairs - it's precisely to avoid this check that she did it differently, even putting herself at risk of attacks of opportunity. To place the barrel on the vat's lid, since you have the strength to lift it, it shouldn't require a check. Anywyay, let's wait for the DM' response... I might have misunderstood).
(With Eithne coming up the stairs, there is still a lot of balancing on things not meant to be balanced on; I'm not eliminating the athletics check, but I will lower the DC to 10; if Eithne succeeds on her athletics check by more than 5, Lucian's check will be irrelevant)
Aiming to make Lucian's check irrelevant, Eithne uses the Bardic Inspiration to add 1d6... Roll: 6
Round 3:
With Bran's nice cheer still quite vivid in her memory (and in her heart), Eithne manages to balance the barrel so good that Lucian has no troubles receiving it and putting it into place!
"Great job boy!" she exclaims "I could not have done it without your help!"
The savage stranger is quite happy that the fate of the first druid should now be definitely sealed... Enemies still abound; no need for one more evil spellcaster around!
(OOC: 10 + 6 = 16... So Lucian should have no more ploblems completing our teamwork move I guess... If I'm wrong, I'll edit this post)
Round 3: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)
22 - Floating above the fray, Charagathers purple energy in her hand and sends it streaking at Twig Blights 2, mulching all the remaining blights in that bunch.
22 - Cole calls Typhoon back to him and together they attack Twig Blights 1, kindling all but one of the remaining twig blights.
21 - Eithnejumps down to the bottom floor, tumbles slightly to disperse her momentum, heaves up a barrel, and makes her way back up the stairs. At the base of the stairs, she walks within melee range of two groups of twig blights, but, even burdened, she is able to evade their swipes at her legs.
19 - Ravens 1 attack Twig Blights 1, killing the last of the little monsters there.
18 - Lenn dashes forward, swinging at Twig Blights 3, and destoying two of the little beasts.
16 - Lucianclimbs on top of the closed vat, hoping to keep the druid trapped. He throws a dagger at Twig Blights 3, but the monsters scramble out of the way. He then grabs the barrel from Eithneand balances it on top of the vat he is standing on.
16 - Nikolaifires another cold blue ray at Twig Blights 3, but the spry little beasties once again manage to dodge the blast.
16 - Ravens 2 flies to strike out at Twig Blights 3, tearing another of the little creatures apart.
16 - Needle Blights 1 (formerly Stickmen 1) gather around the easternmost barrel and take aim at Ravens 4 with their hands. A barrage of short, sharp needles fly out. The ravens are ravaged; all are impaled and most die. The sound of their screaming caws fills the room.
16 - At the same time, a druid (Druid 1) bursts through the western door on the upper level. They rush in, take in the situation, and start to mumble to themselves. As they do, their skin darkens and seems to become harder, less humanoid.
16 - Vine Blight 1 - A tall, green, shambling figure follows the druid into the room.
(We're going to pause here because I don't actually have any idea what Bran might do; Also, I botted Lenn and Nikolai a bit and we can definitely retcon those moves if you like)
Seeing that his companions have managed to finish off the closest Twig Blights, and that he cannot reach a safe spot to try attack the other Twig groups, Bran needs to think of something else.
Upon hearing another enemy entering the balcony above him, he decides to go upstairs silently and check if he can reach the balcony and help there.
Stealth roll= 14. (Though if the roll from the javelin attack in #1290 can be used, it would be a 16.). Bran moves to the upper floor to check if he can access the balcony from there.
(Bran, when you rush up the stairs, you see the door to the fermentation room open to the right. You also see an open door directly ahead of you and something tall moving behind it. I've used up your movement to get you to where you are in the corridor. Do you want to keep moving into the fermentation room or do you want to do something else?)
"Damn!", the bard thinks as he sees a humanoid figure made of ...vines?...in the room at the end of the corridor. He doesn't trust his sneaking abilities that much to try to enter the balcony in this situation, so he decides to backtrack his steps very carefully and wait in the stairs.
Perhaps if that vine creature joins the other two enemies in the balcony he could blast them with an area spell? He'll have to be careful to not include his friends and to no receive damage so as to keep the spell up...
Round 3 v2.0, part II:
Bran Action Dashes so he can move back from the corridor to the stairs, where the Vine creature shouldn't see him.
Round 3: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)

16 - Vine Blight 1 - A tall, green, shambling figure follows the druid into the room.
15 - Branrushes through the open door beside him, trying to get at the new upstairs foes from behind. He sneaks his way into the 2nd floor corridor, but notices more potential enemies down the corridor and goes back into the stairwell in order to observe what is coming.
15 - From inside the fermentation vat, there is a loud thunderous boom that fills the winery and its environs with its noise. The vat shudders, but seems to contain the...explosion? You hear more cursing from the trapped druid. (Lucian, please make a DC 10 Dex save)
13 - Druid 3 bursts through the easternmost upper floor door and begins to move around the balcony, carrying a twisted, blackened, wooden staff. He mumbles something to himself and you see his skin darken and harden as well.
12 - Ravens 3 strike out at Twig Blights 3, destroying the last of them.
12 - Needle Blights 2 continue to pound away at the patio doors. Puffs of dust explode out with each strike, but the chains holding the doors shut seem to be holding for now.
11 - Twig Blights 4 attacks the remainder of Swarm of Ravens 4, killing the last of the wounded birds
9 - Needle Blights 3 dash toward the winery, climbing up onto the patio.
9 - Needle Blights 4 dash toward the winery, approaching the western door.
8 - Vine Blight 2 makes his way down the hallway, failing to notice Branat the far end. Instead, he moves into the fermentation room, joining his comrades on the balcony.
4 - Needle Blights 5 dash batter away at the barred western door, but the door seems to be easily holding them off.
4 - Needle Blights 6 dash into the fermentation room, but make no hostile moves at the moment.
4 - Vine Blight 3 follows her fellows into the fray in the fermentation room
Seeing that the strange creatures are decimating their winged allies, and that the door are holding the ones still outside for time being, Lenn tries to call upon his Goodness power and burn them in holy flames as he approaches them with his greatsword at the ready.
( Lenn will cast Sacred Flame into Needle Blght 6 DEX ST dc 13 or suffer 7 radiant damage. He the moves to adjacent to Twight Blight 4 )
'They come from all directions...' notes Eithne 'And that one alone has a strange staff... Is it magical? This is no good at all. The only advantage we have is that the space is tight… They can't attack all together…'
"Try to hold back the ones on the right, please" advises the savage stranger, turning her head a moment to Lucian (to her right it would be towards the west). I'll try to get rid of the one on the left,"(to her left it would be towards the east)"then I'll be back to you. Or maybe someone from below comes up to help".
The last of the dusk elf maidens then races towards Druid 3, while the Voices in her head begin to rage, outraged that their host, their only hope for revenge, is being threatened!
'Kill, Eithne! Tear them apart! You must live, to destroy the Devil Strahd!' 'They are just yet another obstacle in your path! Sweep them away!' 'Avenge us Eithne! These sowers of pain are no better than those who exterminated us!' 'Nobody messes with the dusk elf women!'
(OOC: @DM: Eithne suspects that this unusual staff could be magical - and thus dangerous... Plus the druid would be unarmed without it - right? So she would like, first of all, as soon as she reaches the druid, try to reach out, take it and snatch it from his grip. What roll should I do to perform this action? Is it a normal Athletics contest?)
(OOC: So Eithne lifted the barrel to Lucian instead of Lucian running and getting the barrel?
