- Hm, that is true. Okay, I'm up for the "hide-cart-and-four-legged-friends-and-stick-together" approach - Bran agrees - And let's not forget the donkey! I've already done that once, poor boy - he adds, scratching the donkey's ears.
"If we want someone to scout ahead for us, I can send Ichabod," Chara points out. "He can turn invisible and should be at almost no risk of discovery."
"What do you say? " he hasn't participate on the imp's change of appearance topic and he seems to not care "Are you up for some scouting?"he asks to the little fiend.
"Yes, good idea, I did not thought of that" admits Miladeath. "A scout that can turn invisibile and also fly away if somehow discovered would be great".
As they walk along, Nikolai will remark to Bran, "I spent the first twelve years of my life in Krezk. As Barovian villages go, it was more tolerant of half-breeds and oddballs than many other places. I left when my mother died, though. I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about your family."
The sorceror indicates that he thinks they should continue on the path to the winery.
Cole knows the area around the winery and Yester Hill, where the druids dwell, very well from his childhood. Looking at the trees and surrounding foliage, you don't think this is the right crossroads. Everything looks off.
-And let's not forget the donkey! I've already done that once, poor boy - he adds, scratching the donkey's ears.
(OOC: When did we get a donkey? lol We've been pulling the cart by hand up to now. Did I miss something? :'D)
Lucian hesitates a moment, briefly wondering if he should just stay with the cart and the pups. After what happened during the jamboree, he isn't to thrilled about the thought of possibly walking into another fight. But no, if everyone was alright with hiding the animals and the cart, then he should go along with them. ...he still has to let Cole know about...the risks, but he hasn't figured out how to go about doing that yet.
He watches as Ichabod leaves and listens as his companions talk about where to go. He agrees that they should first head to the winery, since that is their mission after all. And...well as much as he doesn't want to think of the worst, if they do head to Bran's home only to find out that he really has lost everything then the bard might be to distraught to help out with the mission. It would be understandable, and Lucian doesn't like thinking about it that way, but he has to acknowledge it. It would be easier on all of them to go to the winery first... hopefully.
(OOC: Post #935 ... "You have the same wagon that you used for your trip to the graveyard, although Urwin saw fit to give you a donkey to pull it." I say we should name the donkey! :D)

(Lol! I'm disappointed in you FairIthilien... a video game expert like you, as a name for a Donkey should have immediately proposed... Kong! )
Lucian walks over to Bran as the bard is petting the donkey. He's spent his fair share of nights in stables with equines of all shapes and sizes, but it felt a little odd to have one that his group could call theirs. He reaches over to scratch the animal on its withers--a spot he found most equines enjoy to be rubbed.
Glancing at Bran he says, "Did Urwin say if he has a name? Or..." He looks at the donkey, "Does he need a name?"
"I would assume that Urwin has a name for him," Chara says, stroking her pup gently as she weighs in on naming the donkey. "Um, actually, is it a 'him'?"
- I think it would be nice to give him a name! - Bran says to Lucian. And then replies to Chara with a mischievous smile - Weeeell, Urwin doesn't need to know we gave the donkey another name, right? As for the gender, only one way to know, right? I mean, it's just a matter of taking a look. Males should be pretty ... noticeable.
Eithne, waiting for the scout to return with news (or for Cole to announce that the group has gone the wrong way), 'takes a look' as Bran has suggested.
"He's a male!" she announces "I don't know why... but the name 'Kong' seems fitting to me... Perhaps an inspiration from another dimension? Anyway, we could give him that name, if we like".
- Kong? Sounds like a strong name to me! What do you say, buddy? Do you like it? - the bard talks to the donkey as if there was a possibility of the animal answering to him, and scratches his ears again - With a name like that no one will ever scare you away!

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Lenn nods to Chara and turn towards Ichabod.

PbP Character: A few ;)
- Oh? That would be great! - the bard had definitely forgotten about the imp, too.

"Well, Ichabod, I think everyone is in agreement," Chara says. "Would you mind checking out the winery for us?"
