"I could scout ahead," Deragor replies, "but it would be nice to have some back-up. Anyone else interested in scouting out the fortress with me? Also, are we going above ground or taking the back door again?"
"I don't see how they'd have left the back door unguarded after a jailbreak and a squad dead. I think we can check. We should see if Svelta knows another exit besides the Orc cave."
"I would be pleased to have your assistance, Orion," Deragor smiles.
When you speak to her about it, Svelta confirms that many exits exist and she knows of one not too distant from the fortress. "You would have to travel underground for a couple of days," Svelta explains, "heading in a northeastern direction then travel back west above ground another half-day or so to reach a suitable camping area within site of the fortress. You would have to go east of the underground stone giant territory, and I have no idea what dangers lurk in the hills and mountains above us."
"Thank you once again Lady Svelta. May we ask you to watch our horses, or do you know if the path is big enough to bring them? They should have enough food, I think, and I can show someone how to care for them. Also, our unfortunate bugbear companions died, Gods rest their souls, may we purchase some respectful bags for their remains until we can bring them home?"
"Your horses will be well taken care of," Svelta says. "As for your bugbear friends," she continues, "I'm afraid not much is left for you to take home."
"The scarcity of remains is the reason I was able to carry them. I don't know their burial customs, but I know I'd like at least something for my family to bury when I'm gone. It sure feels wierd acting like a cleric, but they deserve respect."
"Very well," Svelta replies. "I will see that they have proper containers for your return to Daruinjak. In the meantime, you can leave them here at our temple until you are finished at the fortress of the hobgoblins."
"I know we're not taking the horses, but what about Thor? Should I take him with? Can he stay here too?"

Okay. So, are you going back for the horses and going overland, or taking the underground route without the horses? Either way, it will take about three days to get back to the fortress.
"Your wolf mount Thor is welcome to stay in the cave with the horses," Svelta acquiesces to Taxidea's request, "but I don't know how we are going to feed him. Does he like cave trout?"
"He'll eat anything made of meat - I'm sure he'll love cave trout. Thanks!"

Orion mentions that he can cast Pass Without a Trace, but it only lasts 1 hour.
