With a little help from Kren, you all mount your hippogriffs and take to the air. As you soar above the fortress, looking down you see a massive number of goblins come pouring out into the courtyard. Arrows come flying up at you. A couple of the hippogriffs get hit, but they keep on flying and are quickly out of range. Kren leads you all south, and soon you land in front of the cave where you left the horses. There, a couple of deep gnomes await you with the horses.
The sky grows dark as night falls. "We should camp here and get some rest," Kren suggests. "In the morning, I will be leaving you to return the hippogriffs."
Taxidea will take 3rd watch. "Not going to be much good to anyone if I don't get some rest."

Nothing happens during the night. You all get a good night's (long) rest and gain a level. Research for new spells and things can be done when you get back to civilization, either Freeport or Daruinjak. Freeport is about four or five days by horseback to the south. Daruinjak is only three. You could also go to Gilainack, the dwarven capitol of Frelia, which is about five days journey west.
In the morning, Kren says goodbye and takes off with the hippogriffs heading in a northwesterly direction. The deep gnomes also say their goodbyes and head back into the Underdark of Frelia.

Taxidea scratches Thor's ears and gives him some extra food. "Freeport sounds good to us."

Orion quickly shoots twice at the worg.
25 to hit for 6 damage, 28 to hit for 5 damage.

The worg yelps as Orion's arrows pierce its furry flesh. It falls to the ground beneath the two hippogriffs.
"We should get going," Kren suggests. "Those goblins won't be scared off for long. You can bet they'll be back with reinforcements any minute."
"Don't have to tell me twice", says Prim, climbing into her saddle & strapping in. "Let's fly, team!"

"Thank you Kren, we couldn't have done it without you. The casters better rest first, I expect we'll be needing fireballs soon."
