Before going to rest, the noble drow would once more examine the different parts of the team's new home. He would definitely furnish it in time. Assuming no one esle does that, he would take care of the miniaturized tower as they leave.
Traydark too would solidify as the team comes upon the scene, following the human to examine the sigils and glyphs, hoping they have come upon something useful to their mission.
Khessa has taken out the heavy metal-bound spellbook she bought in Gracklstugh and placed it on a nearby boulder; now, perplexed, she is copying the arcane symbols, noting the similarities that come to mind, but without too much conviction... It pleases her that Traydark also approaches and smiles at him - perhaps he will have the right intuition that she, until now, seems to lack...
"You're on your way to regaining your lost prestige!" the blonde arcane warrior winks, remembering that he, before continuing the journey, took ownership of the 'takeaway fortress' "Now you even have a tower of your own... Vizeran will envy you terribly, after the Demon Lords have demolished his one!"
At the fire genasi's words, the tall adventuress turns to her: "It seems like barbaric-tribal behavior to me... Stacking the skulls of trespassers to discourage subsequent ones. Perhaps the Maze is populated by a tribe of Minotaurs and the Demon Lord Madness has made them more aggressive and bloodthirsty!"
"The adamantine tower is hardly mine, but I admit I am pleased with finding it, it should serve us well during our continued journey."The noble drow respinds with a content smile. "Yes, if we are indeed drawing near to the labyrinth the chances of finding a Goristro whose heart we can harvest for the ritual would likely be good."He adds in a callous tone.
Invocations to Baphomet, dire curses, and the inverted names of the gods are scrawled around the cleft in dried blood, and continue on down the tunnel walls. You can tell that this place has been consecrated in the name of Baphomet, the Horned King and lord of minotaurs.
"This place has been consecrated in the name of Baphomet, the Horned King and lord of minotaurs. This will indeed be a relatively likely place to find a Goristro demon."The noble drow explains to the others as he fiishes examining the sigils and glyphs. "Let us proceed."
Made aware of this, Khessa is quick to use the incandescent light of Dawn's blade to ruin most of the glyphs beyond recognition.
"I don't know if this will be enough to desecrate this place," the blonde arcane warrior shrugs "but it was worth a try. Seals that help consecrate a place to a Demon Lord can only increase his power and the related nefarious consequences consequences for our reality".
"Well," the tall adventuress is now ready "time for exploration of labyrinths, it seems... and for bullfighting".
As you take in this tainted scene, a gnoll creeps out of the shadows, glancing cautiously at the piles of heads to either side of it. Its filthy body is bent and covered with tatters of clothing and scraps of blood-crusted armor. The creature looks you over with one good eye, the other lost in a mass of scar tissue.
The noble drow's first instinct is to put the filthy gnoll out of it's misery, but it could possibly be a source of information first. "Greetings, what can you tell us about this place?" He says, stepping closer to the gnoll in a friendly manner, quite certain it is not a serious threat to him or the team.
Persuasion if needed to make peaceful contact: 15 Another roll if help action is provided: 13
“Powerful masters,” the gnoll whines. “You honor us by your presence. Seek you passage through the maze? The Spiral of the Great Horned King? I can help. Yes. Trust Gash and he will see you through the maze, he will.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The noble drow raises an eyebrow and comments to the others in the common tongue. "For some reason this gnoll speaks the tongue of demons, we should be wary." Traydark then turns to address the gnoll in abyssal.
"We are looking for a Goristro demon, and something called the maze engine, can you help us find either or both?"
The gnoll growls softly and whimpers, pawing in place a little and keeping his head down. It appears to be trying to think, but Traydark isn't too sure what to make of the strange creature.
"Gash doesn't know what those are. Gash just watches out for minotaurs. You come with Gash? Gash help the masters through the maze he can."
Khessa begins to feel pity for the tone of the creature's moans... she does not understand, normally Abyssal, but decides at this point to remedy the situation and ritual-casts Comprehend Languages while Traydark continues to negotiate, presumably for the benefit of all, with the gnoll.
Once she is able to understand what the miserable creature is offering, the blonde arcane warrior suggests to the noble drow: "We could give him the benefit of the doubt and actually take him with us... Perhaps he will help us avoid traps or other dangers of which we are not aware of. And by staying with us, at least he will be less likely to have his other eye gouged out by some demon".
Hearing the drone of the Abyssal language--so different from the lyrical melody of Sylvan--Lulu presses her holy symbol to her lips, granting her Tongue the shape and meaning of the words. It's slowly that she approaches the gnarled creature, extending her hand out slowly with rations as she crouches down. "Hello, Gash. My name is Lulu. Have you eaten recently, friend? If yer to guide us through the maze, tis the least we can do to repay ye."
Horkas doesn't understand the language and doesn't trust demons - or their victims. "Take care, the gnoll may be plotting to use us to gain favor with its demon tormentors and thus curry some favor or kindness from them. I wouldn't trust it too strongly..." He maintains a watchful eye for any deceit or ambush...

Arcana: 10
Since Khessa also was examining them, if Arcana is needed here's her roll: 7

((Does Gash seem injured?))

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
(Horkas feel free to make an Insight check too if you wish)
Lulu does a once over of the gnoll's condition.
Medicine: 13 ( -_- )
There don't appear to be any obvious current traumatic injuries, but there are plenty of scars and such that might indicate a rough life until now.
Lulu looks sidelong at Horkas and gives him a subtle nod. "Aye, cautious kindness, then."
She continues to hold her hand out with the offering of food and a soft smile. Perhaps, if he accepts, she can offer him Restoration as well.
