(I had Ebzer only 30 ft in, so he can make it to the split but bearing to the left, he just won't make it all the way to the room up there)
This area is surprisingly clean and orderly, split into two levels connected by a ramp made from zurkhwood planks. The upper level contains a fully furnished laboratory, while the lower level has two bunk beds. The wall of the lower level is set with a closed door.
Hearing Traydark's directions, Khessa heads into the room as well, trying once more to speak: "Listen to me, shy guys, I'm glad you don't want to fight – since we don't want to either. But, you see, we really really need to talk to you. So… why don't you show up and have a chat? Why on earth would you rather we destroy this very professional and well equipped laboratory of yours? Are you really willing to do this just to protect Droki?"
If no one shows up or responds to her, she keeps moving (using the dash action if needed) holding a large maul menacingly in her hands as she approaches the lab.

As Khessa moves into the room up north and begins to challenge again, there is a glint in the soft light as a couple of vials come flying at her from a duergar in the corner! The vials smash into Khessa (thanks to being a larger target) and explode into fire!(Khessa take 4 fire damage and you are currently on fire from an alchemical liquid. You can make a DEX save on your next turn to try and put out the flames)
"Ha! You can't stop us!" The duergar shouts back!
(he is tucked back on the left corner of the room)
Eldeth will keep following Katryl. (Move ahead 30 ft) She continues to try to listen for anything that might reveal other druegar, telling the others if she does. (Perception: 20)

Khessa is too slow to dodge the couple of vials that are thrown at her and some of the burning liquid manages to seep into places not protected by the armor, causing her a sudden pang of pain.
"One is here!" the blonde arcane warrior warns her friends, clenching her teeth in pain.
'Nice shot...' the tall (now very tall, to be precise) adventuress has the time to think 'He threw a couple of vials at me... which are improvised weapons, not easy to use in combat... yet he found a point not protected by the armor! He had good aim, hitting me… and good sleight of hand too, as he threw so many vials in such a short time'.
@DM: The duergar that attacked has other flasks ready in sight?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Katryl, seeing Khessa attacked, moves towards her. (30 ft) If possible, she will stick close to the wall if it might provide a little cover from whichever direction the attack came from. She keeps searching for signs of their enemy (Eye for Detail - Bonus Action: Perception: 15). She is also prepared if she detects something to attack with her rapier. (Rapier Attack: Attack: 21 Damage: 8)
(OOC - I think Katryl was near the intersection to start this turn. She had said toward room 7 last turn, but not sure that matters)

The noble drow readies an eldritch blast for the first viable target, messaging the still invisible Darkwing to tell him where the duergar are hiding.
(Confirming Traydark hasn't moved yet and is still by the door, right?)
(Yes, will tell you when I move :-)
(cool, just making sure. Ebzer is up then)
(So what about Darkwing?)
(What about him? He doesn't see anything either unless he has TrueSight)
(Well, as Khessa pointed out earlier he has blindsight 60 feet)
(He does? In quasit form? I see darkvision but not blindsight)
(As per post #1517 Darkwing goes in and looks for the duergar in invisible bat form.)
"The duergar have retreated, check the room to the left Ebzer." The noble drow says quietly.
Ebzer will obediently head left. What does he see?

Traydark messages Darkwing to follow Ebzer and warn him of any invisible duergar.
