"Thanks Traydark!" Khessa smiles at the drow warlock's updates.
Upon hearing that derro is at the Obelisk, the blonde arcane warrior, considering that Ebzer is running along the path that winds around the mesa, will try instead to go up the sides, like straight up - so the she-derro will have a harder time escaping.
(We're still in intiative order, but Khessa will need to make an Athletics check to climb up the sides. Is Traydark doing anything besides moving his familiar about?)
The derro waits until Ebzer and Silas come running around the mesa and across the bridge before popping out of her invisible state and lifts her hand out like she is sprinkling cheese over food, except a brilliant polychromatic wave of light appears and washes over Ebzer and Silas.
Ebzer and Silas make DEX saving throws (DC 12, 22 radiant damage on a fail, half on a success)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The noble drow smiles to himself as the mad derro falls to his eldritch magic, then swiftly striding up to the obelisk, looking around for anything that might make this investigations of these annoying tunnels worth his while, a lost ring perhaps.
Khessa congratulates everyone on yet another triumph: "Excellent, friends!" and pats on the shoulder whoever comes within range "Definitely, this is not a friendly place... Most of the creatures we encountered in these tunnels, with the exception of our good Rumpadump, almost immediately tried to kill us! But this time too, fortunately, it was a vain attempt".
Seeing Traydark checking the area where the derro came from, Khessa instead tries to check if there is anything interesting in the area where Mr Big Ball Clone came from.
The derro savant carries a single gold coin, a stick of charcoal, and a battered notebook with pages made from trillimac. The coin is a shilmaer, an ancient gold coin traded among surface elves. The notebook contains Dwarvish writing, specifically a long list of random items, mostly coins and jewelry. There are no dates, but some entries appear in different handwriting. The last entry describes the “miraculous” appearance of the gold coin. You also notice that the black rock you took from the duergar alchemist earlier looks like the same material as the obelisk.
"So this derro was... starting a career as coin and jewelry collector?!" is surprised Khessa "It's a pity there is no ring here... but the coin might be of interest for someone, let's keep it. And this poor egg..." she carefully takes it and places it in her backpack (can fit, right? Even more because she is giant-sized at the moment?) "...I doubt it can hatch here, better to take this also, maybe we'll find someone that knows how to take care of it. It would be nice to have a dragon party member, wouldn't it Traydark?"
Looking at the obelisk, the blonde arcane warrior reflects aloud: "In this darn tunnels, every time I examined sonething strange, I gained clues or informations, but I also risked my mind. Maybe someone with a stronger will could do better... Silas, would you mind examining the obelisk?"
(OOC: so, unless someone else wishes to act as collector, Khessa keeps egg, coin and list, hoping we'll find a use for them).

Traydark nods at the extra tall blonde arcane warrior and briefly examines the red dragon egg before she tucks it away, pondering the possibilities of having a pet red dragon that could incinerate those who looked at him the wrong way, maybe even becoming a steed in a couple of hundred years, not so long time for a drow. He then studies the obelisk, not really expecting derro jibberish to be useful to him but to finish up the team's investigation of these weird tunnels as soon as possible.
Traydark would inform the others of the position of the derro, updating them if Darkwing sees her moving.

Khessa's Athletics check to climb up the sides: 13
If the result is not high enough to allow her to climb, she will go the long path with Ebzer.
(Traydark is staying put for now, ready to blast away as per earlier post :-)

Khessa begins climbing up the side of the hill.
Katryl/Eldeth up.
Katryl and Eldeth advance forward towards the mesa. When the derro appears to attach Ebzer and Silas, they raise up their bows to attack.
(Katryl Shortbow Attack: 18 Damage: 10)
(Eldeth Longbow Attack: 20 Damage: 9)
(Eldeth Longbow Attack: 22 Damage: 9)
(OOC - If they don't have line of sight for the derro, then they will ready the same attacks in case he does come into view.)
Rabbit Sebrica, Sorcerer || Skarai, Monk || Lokilia Vaelphin, Druid || Britari / Halila Talgeta / Jesa Gumovi || Neital Rhessil, Wizard || Iromae Quinaea, Cleric
Meira Dheran, Rogue || Qirynna Thadri, Wizard || Crisaryn Melkial, Sorcerer
They manage to nick the derro with a could of shots! (the 11 misses)
Ebzer/Silas up
As the derro woman emerges from the shadows, the noble drow grins evilly and unleashes a purple beam of eldritch crackling force against her.
Eldritch Blast: 13 Force: 5
The derro falls over in a smoking heap.
(combat over)
Ebzer/Silas don't bother with the saving throw, the spell doesn't get off.

The only other thing up there is the dragon egg on the other mesa across the bridge.

Arcana if needed: 11
(From the official source: The 4-foot-tall, 3-foot-diameter egg weighs 180 pounds)
Traydark has no idea what the obelisk does, if anything.
