"I don't think we need to worry too much about the people inside the church. They should be pretty easy to take out. But I do like your idea of locking the doors. My real plan is charging in at night, killing everyone then leaving after setting the building on fire. Should be easy enough as long as we don't have to worry about backup heroes showing up."
"That could also work, but if we do stick with that, we'll need to do this swiftly before reinforcements show up. Not to mention I'm not exactly the fastest knight in the entire universe. Also, leaving evidence behind is another issue, but then again... if everything burns down there will be nothing left to convince them that it was us who did it."

‘‘You lot don’t need to worry about being stealthy.’’ says a gruff voice from across the room ‘‘The undercity is mostly ours. If you were infiltrating a temple in Vestis, then you’d need to be a little more careful. Folks round here don’t like the church too much anyhow.’’
A middle aged dwarven man comes over to your table.
‘‘The names Alvor, I’m the lad who makes things blow up ‘round here.’’ he chuckles a little. He places a box on the table. ‘‘These, are molotohv cocktails, light the fabric on fire and throw it. The glass breaks and the booze leaks out and catches fire. Should make burning the place down a little easier.’’
Yuno comments, "Eh... all that sounds good. Sticking together and also not worrying about stealth. I wasn't planning on being stealthy. I still think we should go at night though so random people don't run in trying to stop us or overzealous guards don't show up."
Yuno laughs and says, "Heh. I was thinking the same thing: run in and kill everyone. I guess you can call that Russian Stealth. Great minds think alike, eh Sushi-Roll?"
What Yuno had just said did have a few problems. Firstly, what the hell is a "Russia" and secondly, Yuno wasn't exactly a very smart person so while her words were meant as a compliment, comparing her intelligence to that of a Nercomancer might have been an unintentional insult given the fact that Roloth was factually smarter than Yuno.
"Yeah. I'm thinking we save the molotovs for if there is an emergency and when we want to do the burn down part of our mission." Yuno turns to Rowan and Zelgeius now, noticing they've been quiet. "Hey, Rowboat, Happy-juice, what do you guys think about the running in and killing everyone but doing it at night plan?"
With how Yuno has started calling Roloth Sushi-roll, it was only a matter of time until she started calling Rowan and Zelgeius by weird nicknames. She calls Rowan Rowboat and Zeligeius... well she called the super serious dark knight Happy-juice.

Zelgius wanted to punch Yuno upon hearing her calling him Happy-juice. There was a brief moment of tension in his face but then he forcefully relaxes. At least getting a lame nickname is better than being called unwanted, let alone 'branded' in his home dimension. "So," he takes a long pause. "Hearing all of you chattering at once, this I what I am depicting in my head: We head there at night when the sun has set fully. From there we storm the building, lock the doors from the inside, save for 1 which we use to exit swiftly, and destroy the remaining members that are unfortunate to be stuck inside there. Then I assume we use these..." He picks up a Molotov bottle "...Strange explosives that I've never seen before to close off our mission. This is what the plan looks like in my mind. Am I missing something or does anyone have anything to add before we finalize?"

Rowan fought back a chuckle when he heard the nickname that he was given and thought over the plan for a couple of seconds. "That does seem like one of the more efficient ways of going around it, definitely if we want to try and minimize the chances of casualties on our side. We move in like a shadow and we strike like a well aimed dagger or a well aimed arrow/bolt. If we have an emergency we use a Molotov and perhaps a spell or two then when the killing is over we burn it down with more molotovs... it certainly sounds like it will work."
Yuno responds to Zelgeius, "Yeah you've got it right. That is the whole plan." Then she turns to everyone, finishes what was left of her breakfast burrito and says, "Well, since we've just had breakfast and we're going to move out at night, I think that gives me plenty of time to explore our new home. Give me a shout when we're about to head off. I'll be around here doing... whatever."
Yuno gets up to go explore the Order, see what kind of rooms there are, maybe meet this Brenna the boss-man told her about and see if she's up to accept a friendly rival.
Zelgius was the last to finish but even then he gets up and puts Alondite on his back before familiarizing the place a little. He paces across the building, taking note of the locations of each room, as well as any weak points that might prove this organisation's undoing should the fable heroes reach this place. He couldn't spot anything worth destroying but it doesn't really matter. As he wanders across he would often encounter other villains that had a similar past that brought them here, but took no interest in them even as they greeted him. He heads off to the training room to weave Alondite as if he was in a duel with someone. But during this time, he gets this flashback:
Black Knight: Impressive. You have indeed begun to walk in Gawain’s footsteps. ???: Do you admit defeat, then? Black Knight: No, but I have finished taking your measure. You have made great progress, but still fall short. ???: The next time we meet, it will be for the last time. I will avenge my father! Black Knight: Continue to train, son of Gawain. We will meet again.
He and his father were the reasons why I joined this syndicate. I failed my team once. Never again I will fail. One day, I will show him, who's really in charge here He thinks as he wields his greatsword against no-one in particular.
Hey guys so, due to some very unfortunate life events I no longer am going to be able to put in the time to run this game. I am really sorry, this is out of my control but, if this blows over (hopefully it will) we might be able to revisit this. I hope all of you understand.
Look I don't mean to sound rude like some of those people who couldn't apply for a pbp campaign, but I can't help to think that you aren't being completely honest about not having time to DM. If this was IRL then fine, I understand, but you can still find time to be a DM and a player on a pbp forum if you can squeeze it in you tight schedules.
That aside, the reason I'm saying this is because after you paused this game and another one of the games, I looked in the other games you were Dm'ing (but fyi I'm keeping Zelgius in this campaign thinking this could be resumed eventually) and found that you were applying to be in 2 different games. I get that sometimes we have to stop doing things that we like because unexpected things happen (because it always happens to me everytime, I get it), but please man, be consistent. If you don't have time to play with us, then why could afford time to try and apply to be in 2 games? I noticed someone else in one of your other campaigns calling this out as well. You don't need to answer my question, but like he said it is something to consider so there can't be misunderstandings in the future.
I’ll just cc what I said to the other person, since you obviously didn’t see it.
Hey, so I am Ty, Baz’s friend and we share this account. I didn't feel like buying books twice so Baz let me use their account to play online. It is a fair assumption to make that Baz was just lying so they would have time to play in other games. But that’s not who Baz is. If you want to talk privately about this just pm me. Baz won’t be on for quite some time because of the situation with their mom.
Ah I see. Thanks for clarifying and sorry to hear about that then. I hope he's ok with his mom and all of that. Just him know that the three of us including myselft are willing to resume if he's able to come back. All he needs to do is post one message on this thread to signal his return. In the meantime, all the best for your applications, Ty.
