So you can now add Nereid to the list of things you have killed. This pair also have some treasure of the random kind. A percentage roll for magic and another for gems and stuff from either Thar, Aeliarin or Gijigume. One roll each and whoever goes first gets to pick what for.
We'll get the gems role soon but while we wait. The corridor to the east meets that room that had a blocked door from about 150 posts ago. Therefor the only way out is to wade through the water to the north door. Arya groans "Wet feet again!"
Your magic hand opens the door and you see a waterlogged corridor running north then turning west. The water gets shalower as you move and the corridor becomes a set of stairs rising out of the water to a set of bronze doors.
"Let's hope it's the way out," counters Gijigume, fed up of this watery place. "But you never know, with a bit of waterproofing and clearance, this could make a half-decent base for us, if we wanted one"
"Well this feels like a trap" Fah'lin examines the door (Perception: 23)
You perceive no traps. Going through the door you see
This hallway is twenty feet wide and has piles of rubble and debris scattered along its length. The walls are covered with frescoes. The east wall displays scenes of a battle between natives and invaders.
The west wall depicts people questing for a new land; their experiences during the journey include crossing treacherous mountains, sailing over storm-tossed seas, and receiving the guidance of the gods in their battles to keep their homeland free from invasions. In the center of the wall is a painting of a pyramid with a temple atop it and the sun shining over the land.
Double bronze doors stand in the northern end of the east wall. Down the hall to the south is an archway carved in the form of twining serpents. Beyond it, the corridor continues east/west into shadow.

Arya "And how does 'clearance' work with vampires? Or we could just leave him there... what could possibly go wrong?"
