Igreis will put his bow back on his shoulder as he moves over to the dock. Not sure if it would be of much help or if he merely wanted to add to the chaos of it all, he will call upon his innate drow magic. With his eyes on those fighting over the spear and use Faerie Fire to try and surround them in harmless flame.
They need to make a DC 9... Dex Save or be covered in the harmless flames.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ayo is moving too frantically for the flames to form, but the human woman is outlined. I don't think the shark illusion would be outlined as it's neither an object or creature. Onizos could add it on his turn as part of the illusion if he'd like.
Despite the giant shark, Ayo remains single-mindedly focused on winning the race. She tries to win control from the human. ((gonna cancel out her disadvantage from exhaustion due to the human's distraction by the shark and fairie fire)) Athletics: 8
She gains the spear and attempts to keep it pointed at the shark as she skirts around it. She's now right next to where Yabo is hiding underwater, but she's still turned towards the shark, preparing the spear in case it attacks. Yabo you'll have advantage against her while she's distracted without having to make a stealth check.
Gan is up, then Baetrix

Initiative:
Goblin Orc Igreis Ayo Gan <--------- Baetrix Human Onizos Yabo
Gan considers firing an arrow at the new shark but he doesn’t want to risk hitting Yabo.
But then he pauses and looks over at Onizos when he notices the faerie fire doesn’t light up the shark.
”Is that one of yours?”
Gan decides to trot over to the dock and where the swimmers are coming in, his bow out like he’s going to shoot at the shark, but in reality just there to get in the way of Ayo getting easily out of the water with the spear if she gets passed Yabo.
Baetrix and Gan crowd onto the doc next to Omo and add to the general confusion. Between the splashing contestants and gasps and screams from the crowd, there's quite the commotion.
The human woman, confronted by a giant shark, draws a small mace and swings. The mace passes through the beasts image and splashes into the water. It takes her a moment to try to sort out what just happened.
While Ayo would have seen this and will know it's an illusion, she wont be able to react till her turn.
Onizos isn’t sure how else to proceed, concerned that his group might get DQ’d if he interferes more tangibly. He will watch the outcome of the scrum on tenterhooks.
((Sorry for the delay, exhaustion hasn't been impacting the defenders for the spear. It's not set up as a contested roll, but rather DC10+Str Mod))
Yabo, you burst through the surface and rip the spear from Ayo's grip. Turning to the dock you see Omo, Baetrix and Gan crowding the edge. You are close enough to lift yourself out this turn
Omo looks flustered and excited as you approach her and drip onto the deck. Compared to the dispassionate demeanor she had before the race, she's downright giddy. "Where did you come from! I was worried you had been dragged underwater by one of those sharks!" She accepts the spear from you.
Ayo and the other swimmers pull themselves from the water. Ayo storms up to Omo, her black hair matted to a scowling blue face. "Someone cheated! The sharks were fake!"
The human woman looks down at the gashes where the first shark bit her leather armor, "Not all of them"
Ayo relents a little bit but continues objecting, "Either way, I was mopping the floor with you lot. I would have easily won in a fair race"
"Oy, what part of life's fair, princess?" Gan asks. "That one got bit and you didn't. You's think she thinks that's fair? Think all them street kids you see are getting a fair shake?"
He turns away from Ayo, waving his hand dismissively.
Igreis moves towards the others and points at the shark that has his arrow lodged into it, slowly crossing his arms. "Should I expect a thank you for taking care of that or is gratitude a foreign concept?"
Baetrix gives Yabo a hearty pat on the back. "Well done, big fella."
She nudges Igreis with her heavy crossbow. "I'll thank you taking the easier shot, Kryn." And - though delivered in a deadpan tone - you think she means it in good humor.
Yabo turns to 'Trix. "Shark can be good eating, I'll go get dinner!"
He leaps off the dock to land on his back in the water, his domed shell and great weight likely sending up an impressive splash before swimming off after the dead shark, dragging it to beach along the bank farther down.

Onizos smirks and says, "Looks like the sharks were quite real. What an exhilarating adventure, to be swimming so close to your own morbidity and mortality. Well done to all the swimmers, I salute you!"

Then he looks up at Oni and winks.
The corners of Yabo's mouth past his hooked beak turn up in a grin as he raises his arms in a stretch.
