As Yabo and Onizos plow through the kelp, they create a path for Gan and Baetrix. You arrive at the other side and see Igreis's echo out of the corner of your eye, but when you turn and look it's just him. You hear the other team thrashing at the front of the kelp field and feel you've made up some ground. Silvery moonlight filters in through a gap in the cavern’s stone ceiling. Ahead, the path through the grotto splits into two tunnels: one to the south and one to the east.
The current if flowing lightly out of both tunnels. Testing both carefully, you sense that the current from the southern tunnel is the stronger of the two.
As you wind through the southern tunnel it angles down deeper until after swimming through a small patch of sea grass, you emerge into a long cavern. The water here doesn’t quite reach the ceiling, leaving a small pocket of air near the top. A slight crack in the ceiling allows moonlight to filter through. At the center of the cavern is a pit whose floor is thirty feet deeper than the rest of the cavern—and you catch the faint glint of metal at the bottom.
"Ooh, a shiny," Gan exclaims at the glint of metal below, which then makes him laugh when he realizes that the potion not only let him breath in water but let him somehow talk in the water as well.
"Time to sink like a stone big guy," Gan says to Yabo after the tortle takes a breath. Gan still hangs on to Yabo's shell, but also kicks his legs hard to help propel them both downwards.
Yabo and Gan, as you near the bottom of the pit you can make out that the glint comes from a pile of silver coins among the sand on the floor. Next to the silver, there is also a small leather pouch.
As you approach, you start to see the sand on the floor swirl and billow. Giant black tentacles peel away from the ground and start probing through the water. Following the tentacles to their source, you see the body of a giant octopus shaking off sand and the moonlight glinting off of it's red eyes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gan shakes his head at the sight of the tentacles and the giant octopus ahead of them.
"What you need with them coins and that bag?" Gan says. "Just let us grab them and go. Otherwise you could ends up on the dinner table. This group already ate a shark."
If Yabo sees his little fellow reptile struggling, he'll offer to let Gan grab hold of his shell and ride behind.

Onizos tries to say “the strongest steel is forged in the hottest fire” but it just comes out as “blub blub blub” so he points to the southern one.
Then he remembers that he has telepathy and sends his little saying to the tortle’s mind, and again points south.
Yabo will nod and head for that tunnel.

Gan keeps going after the others, hitching a ride on Yano’s shell.

Igreis will continue to use his echo to make his way through the water if he is stopped by any obstacles.
Yabo will surface and take a breath against the ceiling, before diving back down and swimming his way towards the pit.

Yabo nods and tucks himself in and slowly drops, being pushed along by a pair of kobold legs. It's kinda fun!

Onizos also realizes that he can speak underwater. “Surely the medal we seek is not down there? That would be too easy.”
