This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Duncan sees a deadly foreboding mist like creature that attacks Duncan. To your senses it is completely real and you take 5 psychic damage each round. Duncan can use an action and roll investigation check DC 14 to see through the illusion on each subsequent turn.
Seeing the shadow demon slash at her and feeling the impact of the hit, Aisha loses concentration on Beacon of Hope. Seeing Duncan being injured and under some kind of influence, "Duncan, you're the protector but you're taking an attack from something that's not there in your efforts to protect." She will then use her Channel Divinity: Preserve Life to give Duncan 25 HP.
With her bonus action Aisha casts Spiritual Weapon at 3rd level to attack Shadow Demon 1. To Hit: 14 Damage: 7 Force Damage
If the first attack hits and stops the demon and it doesn’t have a 10ft range, a) that will stop the dmg taken, but also mean that Ai wont need to use her heal, and b) Duncan will then stop 5 feet back after his attacks so that it will have to approach him again next time (again giving him a chance to stop it). If not of course this is all moot. Also, each hit means the demon needs to make a con check to keep the phantom demon up.
Kasbis grunts as the shadow demon’s attack hits him, he grits his teeth and growls in anger. He casts Eldritch blast at the 2nd shadow demon attacking him. (at disadv since they are melee).
Eldritch blast 1 : (Nat 20 x 2! Crit!) 27 to hit, for 15 points of force damage, plus 3 points of thunder damage (is that doubled as well?).
Eldritch blast 2 : 20 to hit, for 13 points of force damage.
(I don’t think I have ever rolled two 20’s for an attack with disadvantage before!)
