Duncan isn’t retreating, but is instead hiding behind the tree, waiting for Aisha ((@Ym - please always put your character name somewhere in your post~)) to come back.
((I’m not sure if that’s full cover, or completely out of sight, or…))
It would be three-quarters cover giving Duncan a +5 to AC
The first critical arrow will still hit, but the second one harmlessly bounces off Duncan's kite shield.
The trebuchet lights up in flames and its startling how fast the fire engulfs the trebuchet. To the southeast Aisha sees the battering ram at the second x on map
The burning trebuchet gets the nearby soldiers attention and they come to engage Aisha as they draw their weapons.
Duncan feels the need to run forward to help Aisha, seeing the soldiers approach, but remembers her plan to bamf back to them and instead simply leans out, fires another crossbow bolt towards the archers, hoping to keep their attention, and then ducks behind the tree again.

Kasbis looks into the center of the camp, remaining hidden for the moment, Sezrach having returned to him after lighting as many tents on fire as it could. He looks to see if any leaders are running out of the large tent to command the forces, looking for any opportunity to run inside and gain intel. He’s worried about how Duncan and Aisha are doing however, and if he needs to throw any support their way, send any other destruction in to distract the soldiers.
Perception : 20
He wonders where Aisha is going, he sees the trebuchet on fire and a grin comes out on his face. He feels that communication is what is needed the most, and he sends a message to Aisha, “How are you doing, what do you need me to do next? We have tents on fire here, do you need support? I can shatter them with a spell if you need me to!”
He hands the eversmoking bottle to Sezrach (the unseen servant) to complete the second portion of their plan and hide their escape when needed, satisfied with the number of tent fires set.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Aisha recognizes the voice in her mind and responds in a whisper, "I'm doing well thanks for asking, Oh with the mission! Yeah it's going great, I'm about to make the distraction even bigger so you should be able to get your chance to sneak in." She happily smiles as she speaks before running west towards the battering ram and shouting, "Charles I'm heading your direction and will be there soon!" When she gets to the battering ram she pulls out the flask of alchemist fire from Duncan and pours it on the ram before using misty step again to teleport 30ft southwest into the cover of the woods there.

The battering ram is also engulfed by flames and Kasbis sees a rotund man in fine robes step out of the large tent. He is bald with a lengthy beard. In his hand he holds a wand. He speaks with an imposing man in armor 10 ft from the tents entrance.
The soldiers rushed after Aishe, but they were too late.
Duncan's bolt plunks into the watchtower missing the archers and they retaliate
Aisha will grasp her earing and whispers a message to Duncan "I'm on the other side of the path, I'm going to work my way through the brush to the rendezvous point." She will then sneak through the brush to the designated point.
Kasbis sees his chance and runs into the large tent for a snatch and grab. While the portly man with the wand is focused on the siege equipment and the attack to the western portion of the camp and the soldiers have rushed in that direction, he starts to run.
He runs 20 feet into the tent and as a free action he grabs all paperwork and anything looking important. His unseen servant Sezrach is waiting for him in the woods with the bottle. After he grabs anything he can, he runs 10 feet back to the opening of the tent and as a bonus action casts misty step to escape into the woods, to the north heading toward the trail. (See owlbear rodeo). For his action, he directs his unseen servant to uncork the eversmoking bottle and start moving to the north (he moves 15 feet), following his path.

Duncan whispers back, "Let's move back, but stay slightly separated, just to divide their fire."He then looses another bolt towards the tower, takes a deep breath ((Second Wind)), and starts to move back, stopping behind another tree.
Kasbis please roll stealth to see how unseen you are when ransacking the tent.
Aisha can you also roll stealth if your plan to sneak through the woods.
Duncan miss as the archers call out "Intruders in the woods out front!" The soldiers, except for the 2 men in front of the tent, runs toward the front of the camp.
Kasbis makes it into the tent unseen and finds lavish decorations and comfortable cushions. There is a light writing desk with a single document on it. It is a correspondence from someone called M. It details how their asset within has found the Cloud Garden and that Bertwick just needed to keep the townsfolk occupied while the asset steals a part of the Chiracki Tree. Once the task is done their orders are to kill everyone and to leave no witnesses.
Nearby is a burning brazier. Kasbibs notices some burnt fragments of parchment. Too burnt to make out what was written on it.

Aisha yells out some words and phrases that would be unexpected from an acolyte before taking a moment to cast cure wounds on herself for 12 hp. Then running through the woods towards the rendezvous point for her full 35 ft of movement ending it with an attempt to put a tree between herself and the archers in the tower.
