Kasbis says “Fair enough. Thus far it seems that I’m failing in starting and running a business. Look. We just came out of the desert, we are here to help the Oasis, we have abilities. Please. We are low on coin. Can we fill up our waterskins for 1 silver piece each? Help us, just for a little while, with your prices. After we settle what is going on in the mine we’ll pay full price.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Aisha having spent the day shopping is happy to get the water for a single silver instead of a gold. "Thank you, we really do want to help out. I'm Aisha. Do you know anything more about the help that's needed in the mine?"
With her shopping Aisha bought 14 days of rations, a two person tent, a signal whistle, 5 empty bottles, a bag of caltrops, ten bottles of oil, a small hand mirror, and spices for cooking later.
The man writes down Aisha's name and shakes his head "Sorry I don't know what is going on inside the mine." After paying 1 silver each he fills everyone's waterskin.
Duncan gives his name and fills his water skin ((how much water is this? How long will it last?)), and then says, “Let’s see what we can learn of the mine then…”
(Technically a waterskin will be enough for a day, but I have been waiving that aspect to make travel speedier. We can say each of you have very large waterskins)
Shai now has some quarts spots like a leopard on its body. He is very happy.
Once finished shopping the party heads towards Thrumbars Barracks and meets a check point with 4 guards standing before a large gate and 20ft high adobe wall.
Your hear a guard says "Unless you have a badge from the miners guild then move along."
Kasbis stands beside Duncan, he can feel his lower jaw become unhinged with anger and impatience. “Quite right. We are here to help. Are you going to impede us? Who is in charge here?” He waves his hand and a puff of wind issues forth, he draws up his cloak in a dramatic manner and lets a hiss escape his mouth, indicating irritation.

"The notice was clear that we wanted miners with combat experience. You would be delving deep within the mine. Anyone without experience is asking for a short lifespan. Now move along citizen. You can speak to our captain Kadris at the guard station 20ft that way. If he gives the okay then I would happily open the gates." says the guard. Though he eyes Kasbis a bit suspiciously.
If the others follow Duncan they will arrive at a tall 2 story sun bleached sandstone building with small arrow slits instead of window. Upon entering it feels noticeably cooler inside.
There is a long counter with a balding guard with a full russet beard doing paperwork and an ink stain on his finger. He seems tired with bags underneath his eyes and there is a dab of recent blood on his sleeve near his wrist. He stands when he sees the party.
"Are you here to report a crime or are you one of our guard's family?"

The man chuckles. "Why would I do that. That sounds liked a failing business plan. Now do you want water or not"
Everyone can haggle to lower the price.
When haggling either roll persuasion, deception, or intimidation.

The man thinks it over "Alright 1 silver each to fill up your waterskins. I will also need your names for my records."

“The post didn’t say any damn thing about a guild,” Duncan complains, adding, “Do you all enjoy wasting people’s time?!”

Duncan frustratedly shrugs and gestures towards the captain to see if the others will join as he begins to head over.
