Seeing the darkness disappear, Kasbis huffs and grunts, “Fine. Let’s try this…”. He focuses to center a different kind of darkness behind the creature, enveloping it yet again, but keeping the front of the ritual circle visible and he keeps everyone else away from it. Kasbis casts Hunger of Hadar centered behind him, enveloping the demon.
Hunger of Hadar (Round 1/10) : The creature takes 7 cold damage on starting its turn in the area of effect, and it takes 5 acid damage if it ends the turn in the area of effect.

Kasbis girds himself and braces after the terrible roar, and he manages to hold on and diminish the necrotic damage that he takes from the demon. (Wisdom save 14). Because he was prepared, he maintains his concentration (Con save 21) and keeps his spell active, leaving the creature in the dark, frozen by cold and licked by otherworldly tentacles. “Almost there….”
Hunger of Hadar : The demon takes 8 cold damage upon the start of its turn, and an additional 6 acid damage if it remains in the area of effect of the spell at the end of its turn.
Kasbis fires two more bolts of energy into the darkness at the sounds made by the demon, hoping to strike it.
