Greko turns to Lelith to tell her something but sees she is frightened by the shriek. He never would have thought that Lelith would succumb to fear like this but perhaps being back here was too much for her. He places his hand on her shoulder and whispers in her ear releasing her from the paralysis lesser restoration
"Greko! I believe we are running out of time," Lelith looked annoyed as the howls of more horrors to come sounded from outside. "I would usually take my time and make this redead suffer for its actions in both life and death but I don't have that luxury right now."
One arrow glanced off a bone in the creatures shoulder and went into the wall before the other buried in the Redead's chest. It continued to shamble forward...
Outside, the moaning and shrilling got louder. Wood creaked somewhere...
Greko turns to the door and looks outside. He sees 2 more redeads and a zombie shambling towards the house. "Three more incoming. I will lay down spikes to slow them and harm them before they get here. Dispatch that one so we can take these out next." Greko waves his staff high above his head while calling forth the forces of nature casting spike growth
"Do we have to fight them all?" Lelith asked with some reluctance, "it would take a lot of time, time we could be spending looking for the children. Killing a few redeads will not change anything. We need a more effective way to search for them rather than just aimlessly wander in the area."
Greko steps to the door and bangs his staff on the ground unleashing an ice storm on those 3 caught in his vines. He moves away to the back of the room so Lelith can take her shots.
The Redead and the zombie continue to push forward, breaking through the grasping, thorned vines. While each is thoroughly damaged as they come out on the other side of the thorns, with the zombie's torso torn open. They ignore the damage as the continue on toward Greko and Lelith...
Greko says to Lelith "We need space for Baturday to land. Once we defeat these last few I can call for Baturday and we can take to the skies. We can fly overhead and see if there's any traces of Herbs and Spices or Gary to clue us in to where they went." Greko waves his staff in the air chanting celestial casting a newer more appropriate and socially sensitive version of Magic Missile
The arrows and the magic missiles topple one of the Redead and the zombie, but the last Redead continues to approach as quickly as it can. Sensing Lelith's fear, it targets her, and finally leaps at her in an attempt to grapple her...
The world around them fills with sound, a sort of moaning that is oddly reminiscent of a chant. It's loud, and whatever is producing it seems to be multitudinous.
Greko hearing the sounds of the moans realizes they have to move quickly. He casts Thorn Whip (Hit 24 Dam 10)yanking the redead off of Lelith 10 feet away from her and closer to Greko.
The Redead comes flying loose from its grasp of Lelith and hits the ground hard in front of Greko, casting up a plume of dust. It looks like it's worse for wear after the hit...
Greko pats Lelith on the shoulder. "Sounds like we aren't out of the woods yet." Greko calls for Baturday who swoops down from the trees and lands "We should prepare to get out of here and scan the farms from the skies. Maybe we will see Gary or Herbs and Spices....or remains of them?"
"..." Lelith remained silent at Greko's words. She didn't want to entertain the possibility that they were dead unless she saw them with her own eyes. She mounted Baturday and waited for Greko to follow. They needed to keep looking.
Greko while flying overhead Lon Lon, turns to Lelith "It doens't look like there's anything living down there since we left. The moment we left they were probably swarmed and killed. No traces of our animals....Perhaps the kids went towards the woods or King's Landing"
"I figured the same, either Kokiri Forest or King's Landing. Which is the more intact of the two? I recall that the Great Deku Tree was felled after all the trouble we went through to save him," Lelith looked annoyed and slightly depressed.

The Redead collapses as the arrows bury into its body, spilling it in a destroyed heap on the ground.
The undead outside the farmhouse shamble into the mass of thorns and continue to plod forward, even as their bodies are rended by the copse...
