"I uh...doubt we can sneak by all of them. Not good odds of that. I think we're better to sneak as far as we possibly can and fight along the way if we have to. But uh...I'm open to suggestions. Someone got a distraction? Something we can set off across the room to attract them all away from us while we sneak?"
Dabbert's brow furrows as he thinks about his and Rogi's armor making noise as they move...but then he looks at Metalhead.
Metalhead stares at Dabbert, and it's difficult to tell if the monodrone understands what it is being asked. It offers nothing helpful.
Meanwhile, Gwin's arcane eye reveals a bit more about this part of the island's interior. Beyond the cavernous furnace room, one of the hallways ends at another metal door. A second hallway leads to a guard room that contains three humans in splint mail, armed with swords and crossbows. Additionally, there are three fiendish-looking creatures that have metal masks fastened to their heads...
Just beyond this guardroom is an alcove with a circular metal shaft that leads both upward and downward. Two more human guards are posted here. Doors prevent the arcane eye from traveling any farther.
Notes on the map below:
It has been rotated 180 degrees to reflect the fact that the island flipped itself.
Area in red = location of party
Area in yellow = large furnace room with an abundance of constructs
Area in blue = guard room with three human warriors and three masked fiends
Area in green = location of two additional human warriors
Not pictured: a door to north (or just above) the blue-highlighted guard room
"Might as well, when we run out I'll prepare the spell myself. Our immediate problem though..." Rogi readied his sword and shield, then stepped out far enough to be seen by the creatures.
Rogi climbs upward into the tunnel that leads to the furnace room, and immediately has to compensate for a gravity shift. The short tunnel leading into the furnace room has a gravitational pull that is 90 degrees different. The whole sensation is difficult to describe--and slight clumsy to navigate--but Rogi does do without incident. Looking into the cavernous room filled with constructs, he notices that of the three varieties of machines, only two of them respond to his presence...
The squat, rolling constructs appear to have ranged capability, being armed with spring-loaded catapult-like components.
All players may act in any order, but be aware that climbing into the tunnel leading to the furnace is difficult terrain/movement (but Rogi has already completed that movement). The furnace room is truly cavernous; each square represents 20'. The rolling constructs (total of 3) are represent by squares. The snake-like constructs (total of 4) are diamonds. The 10 insect-like constructs (which are not responding to the threat) are represented with small hexagons. NOTE: Construct and character tokens are not to scale.
"Oh, okay. It's gonna be like that..." Dabbert says as he starts to climb up to Rogi to take up a position directly next to Rogi and ready his halberd...
Seeing their paladin immediately put himself into the middle of a potential fray causes Gwin to nervously chuckle. We've stepped right into the cube shite now, lads. May the maimed GodBless (2nd level for all 4) each of you. I'll be close behind.

Following the others forward slowly, readying his blade, Korba says, half to himself, "This reminds me of a story of a certain Leroy Jenkins just running into a fight with a dragon..."
((does 'respond to his presence' mean that they are now all moving towards us?))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Advancing story; assuming Marlin also exits the first tunnel and enters the passageway leading to the furnace room)
Following Rogi's lead, each member of the party climbs upward and then drops sideways into the new tunnel. Looking into the furnace room, you see the constructed snakes and rolling range attackers moving into position. Removing any doubt of their aggressive intent, the first rolling construct (#1) backs up approximately 20 feet, and with sharp snap allows one of its catapult-like arms to hurl a small black sphere at the party. The sphere lands a few feet in front of Rogiand Dabbert and then explodes, filling the tunnel with fire and a deafening boom.
All heroes suffer 24 fire damage, which can be halved on a successful DC 15 DEX save. No other constructs attack. All players may act in any order. I had to make a much more precise, but not very visually-appealing map. Rolling constructs are the black squares; snake constructs are red numbers; small hexagons are the seemingly unaware/uninterested insect-like constructs. Metalhead, no pictured, is in grid square to adjacent to Korba.
There's an explosion, and then Dabbert's ears are ringing as he moves forward, doing what he can to get away from the smoke and the fire and to go on the offensive. He knows he can't get close enough to engage with his halberd, so he draws his javelins as he goes and starts throwing them, trying to lay down as much as he can going into the fight to see what these constructs are made of...
Since Bless says "whenever you make a save or attack" I'm guessing we're good to use it with both the save AND attacks in one post so here goes...
Javelin at Snake Construct 1:14 + Unable to parse dice roll. Damage: 10
Javelin at Snake Construct 2 @ Disadvantage:20 27 w/ Blessing: Unable to parse dice roll. Damage:7
Javelin at Rolling Construct 1 @ Disadvantage:25 27 w/ Blessing: Unable to parse dice roll. Damage: 7
Not gonna lie, I'm sick and kind of out of it tonight, so if this is bunk let me know. Having a moment.

Korba summons the shield of sand around him, and moves up with Rogi, hoping to, for now, stay near his inspiring companion knowing that he feels better able to defend himself near the bardadin.
((not sure Rogi's actions yet, and since we're all acting at the same time, just move Korba with him for now - wanna stay in range of that aura 😉))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With no time to react to the exploding sphere, Gwin momentarily loses her bearings.
Dex save (with Rog's aura): 20
Blowing wisps of hair out of her face, Gwin moves in front of Rogi by about 10 feet. Let's see if these nasty machines can take any necrotic damage. As soon as the words leave her mouth, the sound of mournful bells ring out above the attacking construct.
Dabbert's aim is true with all three of his javelins; in dismay he watches each one strike its intended target and ricochet off, seemingly causing no harm. Gwin's combination of necromancy and spiritual weaponry, however, create the first indications of damage to the constructs.
Rogi and Marlin may act, in any order (and, as noted earlier, Korba will move in unison with Rogi). Updated map w/ Gwin's spiritual weapon denoted by a green star, and Dabbert's javelins denoted by orange diamonds:
(Ok so this was kinda the whole basis for Rogi's character but it didnt work out that way, so I'll describe it once and DM please allow it to happen in the six seconds he has :) )
He'd been itching to do it but hadn't had the opportunity since they came here. The audience was hardly ideal - he knew it wouldn't make the proper impression on these creatures - but still it may have some value, to pump him and the others up if nothing else. He advanced, clenched fists banging against his armor and shield rhythmically, feet stomping and visage distorted in his people's time honored war dance.
"Tis death! 'tis death! 'Tis life! 'tis life! 'Tis death! 'tis death! 'Tis life! 'tis life! This is the hairy man Who summons the sun and makes it shine!"
The special magic he learned flowed off him and toward his friend, granting them the ability to move faster for a few seconds, that they might close the gap between them and the enemy.
(BA Mantle of Inspiration to grant everyone 8 temp hp which are probably wasted but also the ability to move their speed as a reaction. Action to cast guiding bolt on the nearest ranged enemy. Move toward it.)
Marlin moves forward as well, and seeing the effectiveness of Gwin's necromancy, he utilizes the same cantrip upon the first rolling construct...
13 necrotic damage
DC 19 WIS save for construct: 17
The action for all constructs is next, but characters, per Rogi's Mantle of Inspiration, may first use their reaction to move up to their speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Updated map (w/ Gwin's spiritual weapon denoted by a green star, and Dabbert's javelins denoted by orange diamonds):

"Crap," mutters Marlin. "Should've prepared another one of those circles. I'll make sure to do that after this situation's dealt with."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Gwin relates to the party what her eye has seen. Should we use another spell scroll to see if we can narrow down the direction Kivari is in?
