Well let's call it a DC of 12. Fell free to discide how you avoid a large Boulder at is tossed pass you by the avalanche. Also not sure how far your dash is so if the town is 100 ft away at the start where are you now.
The avalanche is up. It starts 150 from down and moves 45ft now 5 ft away from Cocozan and Tommy.
Tommy sees Muriel dash off.
"Great idea, Jerry go home" rhe Bob Cat vanishes in a puff of mist.
Obstacle 3
Dex Save: 24
Tommy dashes towards the down moving 50 feet closer. He vults over rocks and skips across low branches in his way. The ground shaking causes him to loose his step but he front rolls and pops back up with out losing a beat.
He is now 50 feet from town 55 ft from the Avalanche.
Cocozan is up
My dash gets me up to 80 ft, I think, not exactly sure
With his slow reaction Cocozan saw both the elf and the woodsman start a dash towards the township. "Good for you dear friends."
The snow is only mere 5 ft when he started running as well. "Us bipeds have always been so clumsy. Well, I do not know about the elf as she is as fast as lightning as far as I can see"
Cocozan closed his eyes as he chanted. At around 20 ft forward, mid-trot, he suddenly jumped forward with his arms outstretched towards the ground infront of him. Instead of hands, prongs hit the ground and a medium sized buck is running where Cocozan should be! It was running at full trot and took another 30ft.
(Cocozan used action: Wild Shape and assumed a common deer. He took speed of 50ft per round. currently 55 feet away from the snow and 45 feet away from town barriers)
"Anubis where ever you are, stay safe... and don't eat me." (Anubis is his pet jackal, approved by HomeBrewMindFlayer. She is not relevant in our current predicament. I am glad to see our adventure is not dropped. lets get through this! ).
Muriel stops dashing and turns around, and waits for Tommy to catch up before dashing another 40 ft, and knocking open the door of a random building, and ushering them inside
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tommy pulls out his Cat Eye Gem. Can Jerry come back out to play? A mist starts to form in the corner of the room as Jerry hops back out.
Hiya Jerry. Tommy turns to Muriel. I hope you will be joining us too. I have a feeling I saw something in that swamp.
Looking at the both now. Well I'm good in the forest and can get us back to the trail to the swamp avoiding the snow easily but after that not sure. Usually avoid swamps most things in them are as big as me.
Tommy leads the party out of the back and cuts across the woods towards the game trail he found before.
Cocozan follows the woodsman as they traverse a forest trail. He chuckles as he was mistaken for a witch.
"I am a druid, my friend. We can change into beasts we have seen once before."
He wanders off the path from time to time to pick up leaves, fur rubbings on barks and berries.
"For me, i lived in a forest for a century so i have seen most common beasts there."
"There is a forest nestled between mountains to the north and the Sea of stars in all other directions. In that forest is a home fashioned like a short wizard's tower."
"It is filled with books as the old elf who lived in it compiles all the tomes, journals and books he comes across in his travels. Elves, like our companion here, lives for a very long time. So my grandfather, the old man, had tons of books."
"I lived with him for that century. He took me in after i have been bullied in a human town as a child. I am a half-elf, see?"
He showed his ears that is usually covered by his short hair.
"And we are mostly outcasts to both humans and elves."
"What about the two of you? That gem of yours and the friend that resides inside is very interesting. How did you happen upon it?" Addressing both the woodsman and the monk.
Muriel replies, "Well, I was a orphan, my parents had died when our village was attacked by strange people who called themselves Spartans. The Great Monk Jashin had found me among the village ruins, and he took me under his wing."
Muriel then shows them a jade bracelet that matched her green eyes, and she said, "This is the only thing of my parents that I have left."
*looks at the jade bracelet taking in its details*
"it is a beautiful piece. I am sorry about your parents. Being taken in by a monk seems like good fortune for you, if you do not mind my rambling."
*Looks about*
"I have seen monks before, in prayer and they have the most intense concentration on a person i have ever seen."
*Finds more leaves twigs and whatnot*
(I can cast spells to locate these reagents too but i figured i am a forest druid.... In a forest so i should be able to just locate them. If you want me to roll for them, i can too)
Wow my life seems small compared to yall's. As for this gem. Found it while hunting in the woods. See I'm a woodsman of sorts. My job back home was simple, I'd hunt, gather and scout the forest near my village. But my forest was much smaller and much much more tame then this one. But as for the gym..... (Tommy goes into a long and very detailed story on how he was hunting deer when he fell into a hollow tree where he found the cats eye gym)... and so when I picked myself off the ground I found it just lying there. As I picked it up some mist formed and out popped Jerry here. He's been my best friend ever since.
At this point Tommy stops and looks around. Ah here us the game trail. The swamp is just down this way

I'm not the DM so I say go for it. It's kinda do what you want as far as the details go as long as your not going too far off the deep end. If you want an official ruling from the DM you have to go to the Chat.
As Tommy turns towards the game trail, A Copper Dragon Wyrmling Swoops in, demanding the location of Sylpeiros Greenvale. The dragon describes to you a powerful archmage who went missing a year ago.
WHERE US SYLEPERIROS GREENVAVE? TELL ME AND I MIGHT NOT EAT YOU!
"I will be honest with you, I have no clue as I am new to this region"
Still looking at the menacing wyrmling, taking note of all its features and trying to garner a weakness to its physique(and how far it is from the party considering that it is talking... its close right?)
looking at the elf:"Do you have a course of action Muriel?"

Muriel stops dashing and turns around, and waits for Tommy to catch up before dashing another 40 ft, and knocking open the door of a random building, and ushering them inside
Strength check for bashing open the door: 19
The avalanche moves another 45 feet now 60 ft from the town. Seeing the snow coming towards town. The gates to town start to close.
Tommy is up.
He sees Muriel fly into town and a deer pass by him. He turns looking for Cocozan.
Perception: 25
Obstacle 3
He looks back and sees the tracks of a human shift to tracks of a dear.
"Did that fella turn into a deer?" His eyes focus on the snow again and he turns to run.
"Nows not the time"
Following Muriel's lead he will easily free run into the house behind the now bashed open door.
Once inside the house he will look out the door for the "deer" and wave it this way.
Cocozan is up.
Cocozan runs the last 45ft to the door with ease, when he got inside he uses his body to bar the door shut until the avalanche passes through.
Threat has passed.
Well that was fun. Going to make getting to the swamp again difficult. Should we still try it?
(OOC: forgot to say the xp from the last threat adding the 2 we get 167 each.)
Cocozan changed back, with his back against the door, he slid down to a sitting position with a smile.
"Well, that just happened." He said mostly to himself.
"I will head out with you, woodsman. Until we find ourselves back in that tavern."
Tommy pulls out his Cat Eye Gem. Can Jerry come back out to play? A mist starts to form in the corner of the room as Jerry hops back out.

"So where yall from?" Looking at Cocozan "How did you turn into a deer? Are you a witch? I herd they can turn people into frogs"

"That.... Is something i have not seen before. Fantastic"
Completely in awe, Cocozan was trying to take in the details of the dragon's physique for his journals later.
Tapped both Tommy and Muriel's back.
(Cast cantrip "Guidance" out of combat) https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/guidance
"I will follow what you two decide to do. I have given you a blessing. For your actions."
Tommy shudders. O O One moment let me ask my friends.
Um do you know what it's talking about. I'm not so good with words and I don't want to be eaten

Ya the table does not say. Let's call it 20 ft
