Shafir's spell completes its ritual and his sense of feel extends from himself, he could feel melodic energy coming from Naru and the astral nature of Barkas. Yet it seems the range only goes so far as Shafir can only see so deep down but has cannot see beyond some rooms from his spot. Naru's spell completes as well, now prepared with linguistic understanding of anything written or said.
Barkas you hear someone in there, but too far to make out what they're saying.
Naru makes his way down the ladder to join with the others. He also keeps an eye out for clues as to what happened or is happening with the ship. The general atmosphere prompts him to be quiet.
Once everyone is down below, Barkas goes closer trying to listen to the voices, to hear what they are saying. He moves up to Shafir as he sees him open the door.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The floor of this chamber is covered with runes written in blood. A circle has been carved into the floor’s wooden planks and spiderwebs cover the walls and ceiling. Two humanoid-sized bundles attached to the ceiling writhe as hundreds of tiny spiders swarm over them. At the center of the circle, you see an orc in robes kneeling. He rises and turns to you all,
"Hmm, I suppose it wasn't just the ship finally breaking...very well, although last of my brothers, I shall die in service to her." He raises a quarterstaff and as he does, you notice the set of 8 eyes in the corners of the room.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Hey, listen.” Alabaster says, he hand moves onto the scimitar on his back. “This ship belongs to Lord Aubreck. And we’re hired to retrieve his cargo.” He smiles, showing his sharpened canines. “We can do this the easy way, or the hard way.”
Naru is keeping to the back of the group, not exactly sure what is happening past all the others stuck in the door frame, but nevertheless ready to act if need be.
"I know naught of this lord but if you wish to fight then let us, your deaths and mine shall please my lady." As he says that a spider suddenly appears above him, pale like a ghost and disappears like one as its gone the next moment.
Barkas waits for the others to join them, then would head to the door to the south to listen.

Barkas brings forth a deep belch from the pit of his stomach, indicating a disturbance in his bowels as Shafir is trying to convince them.
(The belch is so loud that it might help with intimidation as well..)
