As the title said, we have a long running high level campaign and we need one player to replace someone who has left the campaign. 

The only catch?  You have to be a cleric. 

We post pretty much daily. This is a 'home brew' campaign set in Faerun / Forgotten Realms, following setting canon.

• Race: Wood elf

• Deity: Kelemvor

Loyal to the god of the dead, Therien has a three-fold purpose in life. The first is to eradicate the undead wherever they might be found, for such creatures are a mockery of life and a violation of the natural order. The second, similar to the first, is to stand against necromancy in all its forms. Lastly, Therien labors to bring comfort to those who are facing life's end. Despite the seeming pall that surrounds the work of a cleric of the grave, Therien is far from somber or gloomy. The shadow of the grave serves to make the light in the land of the living that much brighter and more pleasant. 

(Therien is a DEX-based cleric, utilizing light armor and high dexterity for a decent AC, stealth capability, and accuracy with ranged spell attacks and the occasional longbow shot)

Name: Fondak Jacarutu
Race: Desert Tortle
Domain: Twilight
Rough Backstory: Fondak is an old desert tortoise. He’d been the leader of a small tribe until most were wiped out by vicious outsiders. Fondak found himself following an enemy of theirs (enemy of my enemy?), though with some distrust at first, he quickly realized that this new leader, who calls himself 'mouse', was something special. With little holding him there, Fondak has now left the desert, looking for redemption for his people, as well as for self examination to find his place in the world. One who was once a leader now as a follower. Is this what the signs in the twilight had shown?

I'm interested in applying! I've got a few concepts in mind depending on plot or any other restrictions!

• Race: Dispater Tiefling
• Class: Trickery Cleric & Lore Bard
• Quick Backstory: As a traveling bard, Keahi has made a myriad of acquaintances from all around the lands of Faerûn. Her charming personality makes her a great drinking companion, but her sharp tongue has the odd habit of getting her landed in hot waters that come back to bite her in the ass. That being said, her skills in performance have caught the eyes of many, including those of a lovely noble lady up in the Northeast of Faerûn. The two had become quite close whilst Keahi had been entertaining the courts and upon her departure, the lady had given her a shining golden amulet (of health) and a sweet kiss on the cheek. Having become known for her jovial tunes, many are often surprised by Keahi's greater healing abilities. Not one to reveal her full hand, so to speak, uncovering the tiefling's allegiance to the Goddess Tymora is not as surprising as one would think. Keahi has always been an adventurer at heart, looking to make a name for herself while also spreading joyful tunes across the realm, perhaps even stepping in to offer assistance when called.

Alternatively, I'd could try out a Genasi idea I've had for a while!

• Race: Water Genasi
• Class: Tempest Cleric
• Quick Backstory: Originally born on the small island city-state of Orlumbor, Valmira doesn't remember a time where she couldn't see the shoreline. Coming from a skilled family of shipwrights and sailors, the water genasi has always felt the presence of the Gods of the seas. Even from a young age, Valmira has participated in traversing the unexplored waters of Faerûn, eventually learning under tribal guidence to build her own ships. As a core part of her family's tradition, being able to complete her own voyage to Waterdeep was essential. The seas may have been rocky but Valmira's unwavering faith in the protection of Valkur did not fail her and she easily sailed her way up to the large port city. For once in her life she wanders away from the comforts of the sea and has since traveled to various smaller towns, seeking out those in need of assistance or simply the companionship of a nurturing spirit. Even so, Valmira feels the call of the sea and eventually makes her way back to Waterdeep where bustling city life meets the calm uncertainty of watery depths.

rough Backstory: Jace for the longest time lived the life of a criminal. Unsure where his future was going until one day he found himself bleeding out from a deal gone wrong. It was here that he met a servant of his goddess, the goddess of redemption. From that moment he found himself drawn to her church and teachings, hoping to help other find her warmth as he did.

Haven't got the finer details worked out but the concept would be an Order Domain Cleric who is a member of the Order of the Gauntlet. He had previously been a part of a mercenary company where he had been unfortunate enough to come across lycanthropes and become afflicted with the curse (Shifter race). It is at this point he started to follow a god of Order, trying to balance the chaotic nature of what he has become with his desire to fight against evil.

Beyond this I am happy to work with you if chosen to ensure a good fit for the campaign.
