I kind of like Mills Marauders. Inspires feal we can add "hunters" on the end in respectable company and it allows me to do a little crime on the side and pin it on you. Ha ha ha
Whiskers if mercenaries dont sit well with ya, you can call us your personal escort or guard detail if you wish but it will cost ya. Lucky winks.
Gor looks around for someone with whiskers "Is there a Kajit....No, what is the word you use for cat people....Tabaxi present? I see no one with...." Gor pauses realizing that Lucky is speaking to him and rolls his eye. "Outlanders is fine"

Ooc: sorry my posts have been so infrequent and short recently guys!!!!! Schools been talking up a lot of time recently
Drax stumbles, nearly falling off of his horse as he tries to get on. He reddens at luckys laugh.
As the group set out, he takes a breath, calming his nerves and breathing in the cool but fresh air. He looks around him, taking in the beautiful sight of the wilderness, with its blue sky, clouds scattered throughout. The ground, covered with a light covering of snow, Is a wonderful sight, and the trees, draped with winters tears, brought a smile to his face.
The topic of a group name interests him. “I feel that, as gor said, mills mauraders does not give the feel of, say, good guys vs bad guys. The outlanders seems very true to who we really are. Who has ever seen a Dragonborn, a Goliath, and elf, a human, and a halfling all traveling together?” He smirks at luckys comment about gor.
Mills gets closer to Lucky. "Let's get this straight, ya little pickpocket. I ain't in the habit of lettin' thieves run amok, thus why I am on this particular job. I am also not a mercenary, and perhaps bounty hunter is a bit more precise. So while I value what you have to offer in this work, I am not here to provide legitimacy to your stealin'. Keep that hootinany under control."
Mercenaries, Sell Swords, Bounty Hunters, Lawmen, Soldiers.. all Common language terms that make little difference.. you are paid by someone to do something for them. In my language we have one word for it, and it all roughly translates into “Paid Aggression”. Get over the term & language used, make sure you are doing it for the right reason, and in this case I think we all are.
Lucky laughs and pats Mills on the shoulder. Oh lighten up friend, this stress will send you to an early grave. And since your so morality opposed I'll keep it in check.
Lucky whispers to Zanoth, well no cut for Mr high and mighty over here. Though haveing a lawman as a friend could be useful.
While looking for a suitable camp site for the night, Mills located a small trickling snow-melt stream and followed it for a bit, finding a small cliff's edge where the water cascaded down into a deep pool below. The hilltop he was on faded down on either side of the waterfall in two long flowing hills of mossy, snow dusted grass and mixed trees. Mills was about to turn around and find the group to tell them that camping by the waterfall pool should provide ample safety, when he caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eye. He quickly knelt down behind a lichen covered boulder near him to avoid being seen and then marveled at his streak of luck. The movement he saw was a woman breaching the surface of the pool, a Highlander woman, judging by the statuesque features of her face, and the decorative beads in the slim braids of her blond hair. Mills felt a bit creepy watching as the woman walked up and out of the water to the pool's edge, because she was completely naked. It was readily apparent by the number of clan tattoos and scars upon her strong, but no less femininely curved, body that this woman was a warrior. By the edge of the pool she wrung out her blond hair, and in so doing gave Mills a perfect view of her entire naked form.
It was just then that the halfling Lucky's voice startled him almost to pants-sh!tting. "Whatcha lookin' at?" The stealthy half-man whispered. Mills was so startled at the time, that he failed to even think about why Lucky might be stealthily tailing him through the woods. After Lucky looked down over the edge of the ridge and saw exactly what Mills was looking at, he gave him a knowing nod and wink. 'Twas then that their show was interrupted as a burly male voice came from somewhere behind the falling water.
"Nyssa! Food's hot!" Was all the voice said, but it hurried the woman into pulling up her clothes, clothes of colored cloth, leather and fur just as all traditional Highlanders wore, and stepping carefully along the rocky edge of the pond behind the wall of falling water and out of sight.
Mills turned to look at Lucky and the mischievous smile that adorned his face caused the Order of the Wild Ranger to frown down at him and say, "Whatever yer thinkin' don't be! We've got to get back and tell the others before we do anything."
(OOC: Mills, I'm assuming you'd go back to the group and offer up what you and Lucky found? Yes? I think the rest of the group might be waiting for that revelation before posting. Or everyone might just be busy. I'm going to wait until you all decide on a course of action and get prepped before I post anything else.)

Yes, sorry. Mills definitely reports back and tells all but the naked part
Gor stops gathering berries and roots and other various plants, throw them into a pot over the fire and lets them simmer. He stirs the pot, literally, before turning to the others "I believe we should make contact. Perhaps they have knowledge of these parts or saw something they could relay to us. I don't think we should all go." Gor looks at Lucky and then over to Drax. "We should send our diplomatic types....I suggest Mills since he is one of the law keepers of this place."
“What? Me, a big, scaly, bipedal dragon? Intimidating?”
His face breaks into a grin.
“I agree with gor, “ he says through some small chuckles, “mills, you and maybe one or two other….. approachable types should go and speak with these people.”

Edited
Lucky would have climbed over the side and slip into the pool but discided to play nice and listens. Following Mills
Mills frowns. What would a Highland woman be doing with this kind of conspiracy? Something doesn't add up yet.

Lucky goes into vivid detail about all the naked bits lol because of corse he would.
Gor listens to Mills recount his story and half listens to Lucky "Travelers in the woods....A highland female....Perhaps we make friendly contact"
Mills remains silent for way too long as he tries to come up with an honest and respectable response

Drax looks awfully offended.
