(OOC: So it sounds like riding a goodly distance to find a secluded camp for the "night" is the consensus. Since that's the case, I'm guessing one of you is going to have the tied up body of the dragonborn thrown across your horse? A few things I'll need to sort out before I can push ahead. Whoever tied the dragonborn up, I'll need you to roll an INT based Sleight of Hand check. Note, that's not normally the ability that goes with Sleight of Hand, but this rule comes right out of Xanathar's for tying up prisoners. If someone helps with tying up the prisoner, whoever makes the roll can do so with advantage. Then I need to know on whose horse the prisoner will be laid.)
(I feel attacked... Harsh Truths: 29; damage: 13. Fully culpable and I apologize. I have two times of year that are super busy for me, this is one of them. I usually post at work, due to the fact that my outside of work life is usually too busy and work is usually not. However around the end of April/beginning of May as well as the end of November/beginning of December I get extremely busy at work. I will do my darndest to try and squeak out the time to get this game moving again as soon as I can. Unfortunately now is not that time. Hang tight, if you haven't already given up. I thank you all for your patience.)
As the group is riding away from the camp with Mills following along behind doing his level best to cover up their tracks (OOC: speaking of which, Mills please give me a Survival roll as it regards the success/failure of covering your tracks.), the red dragonborn, no not Drax, the one he currently has laid out belly down in front of him in the saddle, comes to, and immediately struggles against the rope and knots that Lucky fastened around him. The attempt is futile, and Drax bonks his brood brother on the back of the head with the butt of his axe for trying, knocking him back out cold. After a short hour of riding everyone in the group feels exhaustion settling into their bones and can think of nothing except some hot food and a good "night's" sleep. Since Mills is in the rear covering tracks, Gor took the fore scouting for a well hidden spot (Survival Roll in the Game Log). Seeing nothing spectacular that's close, Gor settles on a small natural bowl in a low hilltop. The natural indentation in the earth at the top of the hill will provide them some cover from sight, and the high ground will provide some advantage should they be found and combat becomes inevitable.
(OOC: Gonna need another Con SAVE from everyone, target DC is 12. If you failed before and fail again, you've gained another level of exhaustion. Importantly, this is a SAVING THROW, not an ability check, so even if you have incurred one level of exhaustion, you do NOT roll this save with disadvantage. It's just a straight roll. If you didn't fail before, and fail now, you get one level of exhaustion. Obviously if you make the save no levels of exhaustion are added.)
Everyone dismounts and unloads bedrolls and blankets, holding their eyelids open with sheer willpower at this point. As they do so, two things become very clear. Somebody has to stay awake, both to watch for danger and to keep an eye on their prisoner, should he regain consciousness. At this current point in the night, that is a job that nobody necessarily wants, but is nonetheless obligatory. For the moment everybody stares at each other waiting for some brave soul to say they're willing to take that first watch of the night.
(OOC: Discuss if needed. If somebody without any levels of exhaustion is willing to volunteer, all the better. If somebody who is exhausted ends up taking the watch, I am going to roll some secret Con checks to see if they are able to stay awake...)
Gor nods "Where should we proceed to rest and interrogate our captive?"
(OOC: Looks like we've got a couple different suggestions for action. I'll need to hear a consensus before pushing the narration forward.)
Lucky is sitting behind Zanoth.
Zanoth is right. I don't want to cross blades with that beauty of a highlander.
Gor hops on a horse and follows Zanoth
Mills sighs as he recalls the highlander woman. "Yeah. She'd stab me right in the heart."

Mills will assist Lucky to tie him up, and I would volunteer either Gor or Drax to carry on horse?
Paladin - warforged - orange
Lucky ties up the dragonborne as well as he could with mills holding its arms behind its back.
(Rolled a 15)
I can carry the dragonborn on my horse, unless someone else wants it?
Hi.

Hehe, not an attack I assure you. PbP is by definition “slow”, however participants should expect “information flow”. One of the other more serious PbP boards I play on encourages signature of The Oath, and some DM’s insist on it. Take your time, “Real Life“ © comes first, so the update(s) are very appreciated and I am so glad this fun game is still going.
