Norr watches as Brix casts a strange, solid sort of magic upon Casrian and his wounds close.
He is leaning against the end of one bookshelf, and as Dolmek shares the tale of his father with Leo, he hears it all. As Leo talks of his only true friend, he hears it. Casrian’s pained face eases, and the smaller Brix looks much improved, only some small subtle marks remaining from his previously grievous injury.
Norr has one foot flat against the bookshelf with his knee bent, and he doesn’t stand straight to speak, remaining at rest in this insolent way.
“You have asked nothing of me, I, who have always been asked much of. You’ve bled with me, fought with me, listened to me. I wield a genie’s magic, wear a genie’s ring, and I have waited for your questions, waited for the innocent touch — the sleight of hand — the avarice and the theft. It has not come.”
“To be of like mind with Master Pard, I say, ‘aye’. Yes. You are my friends. You shall be, if you will have it.”
With Prestidigitation he conjures a small shot glass for a moment. “In uttermost serious then, how about it? Let this be a true ritual, on this one occasion. Let this be a promise for fire in our hearts and loyalty that burns us to be true to one another, for as long as this shall take, and then friendship after, for all our days.”
"G-Genies magic! I thought ye were some sort of sorcerer, naturally gifted with magic! That is why I never asked ye any questions. But now I be curious!"
“An appropriate question, so I shall answer at an inappropriate time. Perhaps, in a less raw moment.”

"Thank you, Master Brix," Casrian says to the gnome. He goes to clean his rapier, but the last traces of blood are already being magicked away by Norr's spell. He gives a half-hearted nod to the half-elf and sheathes the blade.
He pulls a small leather pouch from a hidden pocket and pulls out some lockpicks. He sets to work on the box.
Dexterity check: 11 (meh)
Much to Casrian's dismay, the lock remains locked.
I have, to be honest, no clue whatsoever. I'm not even sure the White Knights, or the Kejsare's elite bodyguards, know of the organization's existence.
Dolmek downs his Firewater, feels the heat. Norr’s kindness has helped settle Dolmek’s distress considerably. However there’s no time like the present, Dolmek looks for an out of the way space to don his chain mail, trusting the others to share relevant information. ‘Responsibility, from now on armed and armored will be the daily attire.’
He looks fondly at the silver and turquoise Silverstone heraldry 3 stacked stones. ‘I’ll do my best dad.’ As he dons his inherited armor his mind goes over the unanswered questions surrounding his fathers death...
The White Knights are the Kejsare's elite bodyguards. They were founded at the beginning of the Empire, when the term "Kejsare" was new. The current Knights are Aurora Featherflight, Torevir Deepdelver, Khaman Hallowtrapper, Eran Iriah, and Sariel Nightbreeze.
The Scribe requests "Before you go off to Cora City for... whatever business you may have there, may I please request that you find the Circle, investigate, and report back to me? I'm awfully curious, and I'd hate for this group to... ah... perhaps fall to any dangers you might encounter in the City."

"Aye, that sounds good to me, what say the rest of ye?"
Casrian forgets the obstinate lockbox as Brix applies the healing salve and it relieves every ache of the wound. He blinks. "Master Brix… you are quick to come to the aid of another. May Avandra bless you, sir. I am in your debt."
((As the others speak, does Casrian have the opportunity to keep working on the lockbox? Dexterity check: 16, if you'll allow it))
He looks at Norr, at Leo, at Brix, and Dolmek. Avandra seems to have answered some unspoken prayer, and he sighs deeply.
"The Firewater will stand as our oath to one another for now, and the gods bear witness. These things ought to receive more ceremony, but I feel uneasy remaining here when assassin's have made good their escape."
Casrian turns to the Scribe.
"You spoke of a scroll kept in the Royal Library of New Basin. Do you have any information of how we might find that scroll? Who we may talk to? How we may avoid undue attention from librarian, guard, or fey?"

(OOC, Sorry, I'm lazy, lmao. What is that library and what is that City? I can't remember that being brought up before unless that's the library we're in now)
Hey DM, could you (just like what just happened) please put down the post number when recalling info from a previous post? This will make things easier to remember info and lore ooc.

"Personally, all I know is that the few people who are allowed to use the library are nobles. Other than that, I'm not actually very knowledgeable about modern day New Basin. Although, for your fey question, I don't think that there are fey in New Basim." *chuckles*

Casrian looks genuinely more distressed about the noble requirement than he did about his previous wound, but he nods and checks his gear, apparently ready to leave immediately.
((Leo, is the Insight Check for the Scribe or for Casrian?))

Dolmek is also ready (OOC we pitching for mule and cart or anything?)

after the insight attempt and any talking that'd be done, Leo'll be ready.
(Would it be possible to collect any of the arrows I fired? If so, how many do I retrieve? (I fired 2 in the combat))

The Scribe peers at Norr's ring curiously. "Norr, I believe is your name? Do you think I could possibly take a quick look at your ring?"
