Dolmek watches in horror as the snakes attack Leo. (Dolmek was going first and used dodge thinking they’d attack him... did he get an AoOp as they slithered at Leo?)
Not one to usually known for his bravery, Brix pushes past his fear and rushes to Leo fully aware he is probably going to be the next victim. As he moves he pulls yet another deer horn vial from his bandolier. Popping the stopper he waves the open end under Leo's nose. Pungent fumes brings the tabaxi back from the brink of death.
Norr lets fly another crackling storm bolt, at the one he hit earlier. It explodes with a peal of thunder, and he times his voice so that it is at the same time that he speaks to the prisoner.
“Walk past the snakes. They will not attack you as you pass them while we are fighting them,” says Norr, hoping the snakes will take the opportunity and the closesness of prisoner as a threat and be distracted from the rest of them as they attack the cultist.
Dolmek once again kneels down beside a fallen friend with a tear in his eye, he places a hand over the snake bites, “Restore him.” Feeling the stone beneath his knees Dolmek using lay on hands restores 1hp to Leo-pard. “We need a short rest.” Dolmek wipes the tear from his eye.

Wakes up groggy, "Aye... what... what happened....?"
“No time for lion around, my Tabaxi friend,” says Norr, placing his bow back at his hip. His smile is back, soothing the worry from his frown. If you asked him if he was worried he deny it, but it’s clear he’s happy to see Leo is OK.
“I’m not adverse to a short rest, as a general principle. A day of excitement should be bounded by regular periods of boredom and sleep.” Norr jerks a thumb at the bound prisoner. “He may be remarkably less pliant within the hour however, so we best decide what to do. I’ve learnt little.”
(What’s the XP gain for this little skirmish, DM? Very keen for that level 2 snakes can’t one hit you dream)
Brix speaks up, "I'm out of healing salve and I don't have the energy needed to create more. Unfortunately I will need a longer period of time than a short rest to refurbish my elixirs. I suggest we move on quickly so we don't have to spend the night." Nodding at the prisoner he continues, "This one is slowing us down. If he has nothing to share we should leave him here and alert the guard to come collect him. He seems like a strappin' lad, I'm sure he'll be fine Besides with the dead ends we've encountered all the remaining dangers lie ahead so once we remove thise threats he should be fine." Brix allows the others to consider his position while he goes about collecting various bits and pieces from the serpents as possible spell components.

"Aye, we kind of snuck down here, so I don't know if letting the guards know of this is even a good idea."
A short time later Brix stands up from his resting place, dusts himself off, and looks at the rest of the party. "Well everyone seems to be feeling better. I for one, don't wish to spend more time in this tunnel than I have to so what say we get to moving." He'll follow Dolmek or whoever decides to lead the group this time.
"You know, even though it's not a skill I possess, it could be beneficial for someone with the skill to track, to not only track that snake but others who may have cone through here. Though it seems a little silly that we should meet such creatures on a path that's been used before one never knows till one looks". "
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dolmek will lead the way following the last direction he saw the snake retreat. As he does so he will look for tracks as Brix suggested [Tooltip Not Found] 4.
”Leo-pard stay close with Nor please. You two still have a wager going?”

(ooc, I don't remember if there was any "wager"?)

There is one snake remaining, 10 feet from Dolmek. The snake sees all it's allies dead, and quickly slithers away. (60 feet, and a right.)

Dolmek looks to Leo-pard, “What do you say Leo? Press on or rest a bit?”
"Aye, I think that I, ow, need some bloody rest before that happens again..."
Norr looks over the still oozing snake bites that riddle Leo. “A bloody rest is what you’ll get, my friend.”
