Cora City was built soon after the founding of the Empire of Santok. It's very old. A few centuries ago, a volcano erupted and Cora City had to be rebuilt. It's somewhat close to a river, which is the city's water and food supply. Cora City is best known for it's ale, which is a very old variety. It's... interesting. Some like it, some don't.
"Aye, so we headed there? I see. Wait, weren't there 5 of us? I recall a gnome selling shitty booze to us saying that they wanted to join."
Norr looks down pointedly, just in case Brix was there all along.
To Dolmek he nods in appreciation. He turns his ring on his finger, thinking. “Maybe we can see if there’s a docks here in the city. If Cora is on a river, it may be that boat is the safest and best way to travel.”
Norr rolls his pie along the table to Brix. “Good to have you, Master Gnome.” He shifts on the bench and repositions the short bow.
“That’s the five of us. We know our goal, though our path remains delightfully unclear. Whether we’ll reach it, I have no fear. Soon there might be trouble and strife, but as well as my bow, you have my knife.” And, so saying, he takes out a dagger and stabs it point first into table.
”A little tradition,” Norr apologises, “before setting out on an adventure, for my kind. Truly, I don’t know what we will face, but I’m keen to find out, and glad to have you all at my side.”
Norr looks at the tall, well muscled Leo. He slaps him on the arm. “Except this one. You don’t need to be at my side, you can be up front.”
And, so saying, he takes out a dagger and stabs it point first into table.
Dolmek jerks a bit startled, then heads over to the proprietor orders what might pass as a sandwich and beer, he over pays by a silver piece and nods a quick thanks. On his way back over he addresses Leo-Pard, “I am a paladin. I have some healing ability. If you need anything along our way please don’t hesitate to ask. Am I right to assume you are a warrior?”
He also looks carefully at Lord Casrian. Maybe he could be the one, time will tell...
Casrian sets down his fork, dabs the corners of his mouth with a handkerchief, and wedges a gold coin into a crack beside Norr's dagger.
"Avandra the Change Bringer - She Who Makes the Path - has always given me more than I required. I think it fitting to repay that kindness. What's mine is yours, friends; coin, blade, and blood. May the goddess of change, freedom, and luck bless us as we head down the trail set by her ally Bahamut."
With that, the man rises, cinches his backpack tight, and rests both hands on the hilt of ornate rapier. Trying to also remember what he knows of Cora City (where it lies in relation to Slileigh Le Ulta, mainly, and the most obvious route to take)
The most obvious route would be along a road which doesn't have a name. It extends through a forest or two, and does open up into a more hilly region. Usually the trip would take around 4 days. Cora City, btw, is north of Slileigh Le Ulta.
As you finish speaking, you notice a hill dwarf has stopped to listen to your conversation.
He asks: "Is this group made up of adventurers? If so, I'd like to request a small favor."

Norr raises his eyebrows at this, but then he grins. “An Archer? My my. Two bows are better than one. I shall be interested to learn whose eyes are sharper, Tabaxan or Fey-touched. Perhaps a wager is in order?”
Norr licks his lips. “At least we shall be well stocked for game and fowl on the road.”
(If, as we leave the city, we come across any horses and carts on the way there that look like they have room, Norr would want to strike up a conversation - either for news, or, even better, a ride in the wagon.)
(Depending on what the new dwarf NPC says, of course).

Norr puts a hand on Leo’s arm before he can follow the dwarf.
(I’ll insight roll -> [edit in])
Leo Whispers "Aye, what gives?"
Norr lets go quickly. Too long I’ve been around callous fey, if I can struggle to see an honest man in front me, thinks Norr. On looking closer at the man, there is little that hints at deceit or ambush.
“A momentary cramp, my friend, that’s all,” he says. “Argh. Ah. Ooh.” He rolls his wrist a few times. “Much better. Lead on, noble McPard!”
yes, he's just not responded yet.

ah, it appears that he is being honest and has not any hidden intent, although the favor he's asking may be something more than he made it out to be.

He especially notes the height of this individual.
