Ronin hops down to the smooth worn surface of green cut stone.  He is momentarily blinded by the bright light as his eyes adjusts from the setting day above.  At the end of a small passageway a golden figurine emanates light like the noon sun.

"Greetings, I am Ronin. Who or what are you?" He says to the figure of light

It is a figurine of a Goddess shining out radiant light.  It doesn't move or respond.
