OOC: Since Jacob may take a while to answer due to travel issues and such, can we just assume that's what he does and continue? Just trying to help the game keep flowing...
(Yes, thank you, apologies again. Made our way from Nashville to NH, by way of NYC and it’s been a heavily distracting road trip, thanks for the patience and apologies for the delays!)

Jacob Bray - The Call of Lon-Dia, Human Bloodhunter 3
You reach out with your electrified hand and grab a scurrying rat. It hisses at you and you give it the shock of it’s life. The rat’s corpse quickly evaporates out of your hand.
Your swarm snags one of the rats and bites it to death. It evaporates from the writhing ball of fur and tails.
“It’s no use! They’re multiplying too fast! We need to go back up!”
(Natasha carefully backs away from the rats and goes up the ladder. She also rushes towards the building to ask the crazy old man if he knows how to stop the rats from multiplying.)
OOC: If she can do all that in 1 turn. Otherwise she gets as close as possible.)
OOC: I’d like to say yes, but Penelope is blocking the ladder and you would take attacks of opportunity from the rats if you ran. It would also take you a round or two to reach Donnar before you could ask him. Is there anything else you would like to do?
(OOC: Vegas? Well, la dee da Mister High Roller. Have fun!)
You see that Penelope is blocking the ladder you came down, so you make for the one. You duck behind the burning oil and the four rats in front of Penelope make attacks of opportunity.
Rat 1: Bite: 21 Damage: 1
Rat 2: Bite: 7 Damage: 1
Rat 3: Bite: 18
Rat 4: Bite: 11 Damage: 1
Three manage to nip at your back and heels as you run.
The four rats that were in front of you are too wrapped up with Penelope’s Swarm of Rats to attack you.
You swiftly run between the pier’s support beams and end up next to Jacob. You take a semi running start and leap over the hole in the dock. There isn’t enough room to stand where the ladder is, so you aim directly for the ladder. You grab onto the ladder and stop yourself from slamming into it. You make it to the top of the ladder.
“Dammit, this is no way to die - Penelope, Stone, let’s deal with this another way...” and with that he’ll try to step away and back up while sheathing Bread and brandishing the torch at the rats.
You shoot off your firebolt and it explodes on the spot where Jacob was standing. The rats rear back in fear, but do not run. Your firebolt does not ignite the pier, but it does leave a huge black spot on the wood.
Your Swarm immediately detaches itself from the four rats it engulfed and runs up the other set of stairs.
OOC: Apologies, traveling still and the hangovers are real.
Jacob growls a bit and jumps to the diagonal spot next to the fire, winging at the rat closest with Bread and the lit torch again:
Bread: Attack: 13 Damage: 7 + fire: 1
Torch: Attack: 15 Damage: 1
Jacob Bray - The Call of Lon-Dia, Human Bloodhunter 3
You sidestep the fire and slash at the nearest rat. You cut it’s head off and it evaporates.
If you wanted, you could move again and use that torch roll against a different rat since the first rat died before you could strike.

Penelope will toss a fire bolt at the wood close to the swarms of rats near where Jacob used to be in an attempt to scare them off.
If I have to roll to attack the boards:
Attack: 6 Damage: 9
Penelope will command her swarm of rats to disengage and flee to safety.
"Friend Stone we are a bit out of our league right now. Best we retreat like the others."
She'll climb up the ladder behind her.
