 Stone, start us off.

OOC - can I throw a javelin for non-lethal damage?

(Hmmm, I’m going say yes.)

Stone taunts the steaming bastards in front of him with a yell of pure fury for their chaotic nature. Then, with incredible precision, he expertly hurls one of his javelins at the steamy freak that Natasha had already damaged. He throws the javelin backwards, using a method he has perfected over years of being a lawman.

Damage: 6

Stone’s training has paid off and he’s able to nail the Mephit in the face with the blunt part of the his javelin.

Natasha, you’re up.

Stone says to his new found friends,

"Why don't you guys back up a bit and encourage them to target me?"

(Natasha pops out from behind Stone with the Blowgun, aiming at the unhurt one.)

(She then moves back behind Stone.)

Jacob, kneeling, attacks one of the other mephits with the blow gun

Attack rolled earlier, terribly - A: 9, D: 6

and backs off a few feet* to let them target Stone while the rest of us try to again target the cluster of them as they do, presumably.

Natasha and Jacob take turns using the blowgun, but both darts miss their marks.

Penelope uses her crossbow to fire a bolt at the left Steam Mephit and the it lands in the creature’s neck, causing the tranquilizer to course through its veins.

Constitution Saving Throw: 15

It too is able to shake off the effects of the dart.

All three Mephits converge on the first target they see, Stone. They bare steaming red hot claws and attack!

Steam Mephit 1 Attack: 10

Steam Mephit 1 Damage: 3 slashing damage plus 2 fire damage

Steam Mephit 2 Attack: 17

Steam Mephit 2 Damage: 4 slashing damage plus 2 fire damage

Steam Mephit 3 Attack: 22 

Steam Mephit 3 Damage: 3 slashing damage plus 2 fire damage

Stone’s shield is able to block their tiny, deadly claws.

The middle and left Mephits look half dead, but the right one is at full strength.

Stone, you’re up.

Emerging from behind his shield, Stone swings his long sword down on the left Mephit, striking it with all his might with the sword's blunt side (so as not to kill it).

Damage: 7

Stone’s sword connects with the Mephit’s skull with a thud, it wobbles but it doesn’t fall down.

Natasha, your turn.

(Natasha once again tries to take out the Melphit that appears to have taken the least amount of damage so far, using the Blowgun and tranq dart.)

Attack: 16 Damage: 5

The Mephit on the right takes a dart in the shoulder.

Constitution Saving Throw: 18

The creatures shakes off the dart’s tranquilizer effects.
