"I mostly avoid fighting to be honest but I can. use my skills to call upon magic through the bardic arts. I know enough to use my rapier if needed but words are my true weapon." Amira admits as she moves closer to examine the talismans, looking back to the others to see which they wanted to use first.
“You’ll want to know how to use that blade more efficiently, Amira. I can teach you if you survive the journey back here.” The detective says with a smile, flicking some ash from her cigar into the ashtray on her desk.
Nos Heliwr nods as each party member gives a brief description of their skills, "i bes purty handy with me rapier," he pats the blade at his right side. "'n I bes tippy-toe sneaky, kinda like that feller I reads aboot, what was 'is name, . . . Baglins, Barlow, umm, well shucks, 'the name escapes me fer a moment, but he was sneaky under th' nose of a dragon 'n I thinks I could do like that, perhaps," he grins, a bit manically. "Though I'd not bes doin' such on a lark y'understand." He takes a puff on his cigar, examines the coal on the end, and continues, "Ain't too bad at scaling walls 'n such either."
He holds up the bloody ear, "Somethin' 'bout this ear seems t' call out t' investigate its antecedents, what did ye say Flimira, Keening? Is that a place inna mist 'r is't the ears name?"
"I'm skilled in a form of holy magic which can keep you all alive should we fight against an enemy" - he shows up his holy symbol, a sun figurine which hangs on his neck but was hidden under his armor until now. - "May I suggest to start at the Carnival? It sounds fun...but I'm szre I will regret saying this..."

Amira raises a brow at the detective before she smirks at the other woman. "My my how very kind of you, but I think that we could do much more then simply practice my sword work. I could show you why words are my prefered weapon. You can do so much more with a sharp word then a sharp blade."
“Deal.” Flimara says to Amira with a smirk of her own, before using her hands to scoot the grim objects closer to the group on the table, not even flinching as her fingers touch the bloody ear.
"Well gentlemen which one shall we use first. Personally I do not know if I a quite ready to deal with any place that requires a severed ear to reach." Amira says as she gives the thing quick glance before looking away from it.
"I personally prefer if we went with the contraption and not the fused twins or grotesque severed ear. I honestly find those little cartilage flaps unsettling even when they're alive." *True subconsciously scratches under his horn where his ear hole is*

Flimira grins. “Thank every god in the universe. I was waiting for that question. You won’t believe how many people just walk out of here and can’t find their way back.” She reaches into her desk, pulling out a magnifying glass and extending it to Gustav.

"So do you only have one of those to give out? What happens if we were to get separated or the person carrying it were to lose it?" Amira asks as she examines the magnifying glass with a curious eye.
Flimira nods. “Just in case some of you, you know, die… I’ll give you each one. Just keep in mind that the Talisman is consumed by the Mists once you use it, so you have to get a new one for every domain of you wish to return to one.” She pulls out other magnifying glasses, handing them to each of you.
“And the Mists, once on a course, will keep you on that course since you used a Talisman. It’s only wandering into the Mists without one that can prove risky.”

"Thank you for the info. Anything else to let us know?"
Amira takes the talisman and moves to put it in her pack, being careful to place it in a spot where it will not be easily broken. She reaches out to take one more gulp from the bottle before getting to her feet. "It seems we shall be off then. I look forward to lessons when we return Lady Flimira."

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
"I believe it is an activation word for the magic of the ear to pierce the mists" *True postulates*
Flimira nods at True. “Five points for you.”

"I'm fine with that"
“Well, the choice is yours. That’s why I gave you three.”
"Wait... is there a talisman for getting back here?"
Flimira grins. “Thank every god in the universe. I was waiting for that question. You won’t believe how many people just walk out of here and can’t find their way back.” She reaches into her desk, pulling out a magnifying glass and extending it to Gustav.
This is the talisman to get back?
