Confused my everything he saw and feeling off by the lingering poison And hearing Rick's command AND feeling sudden unexplained rage Cladmir rush forward to attack the thing instead of doing the distraction-while-dodging that has worked so well before. Luckily, however, some attack patterns have been drilled into him from years of training so he can execute them without a thought.
Rolling attack with disadvantage. Going for a sap with his longsword.
(Yes, both of you are still poisoned. Asimi tried to take a look at you earlier to see if she could figure out how long it'd be but didn't manage it. But the short version is: for now at least both of you are still feeling rather sick.)

A little baffled by what's just happened, but at least recognising that there's danger, Khond starts backing up toward the far wall as he unlimbers his bow and takes a shot at the smokey figure.

Cladmir instinctively begins to panic as that dreadful voice and visage fills his mind, and under the creature's dark chuckling he takes 9 damage, while being forced to run as fast as he can. This means he involuntarily rushes off the stage and is left unable to act, but the nightmare creature remains as real as ever.
More annoyed with what is another elaborate show of smoke and mirrors than seeing an actual ghostly threat, Breldo losses an arrow upon the spirit, the bolt seeming to stick with a painful groan from the creature in turn.
Asimi rushes up on stage, but isn't quite close enough to attack in melee just now, while Rick and Khond throw daggers and shoot. The dagger finds purchase, while the arrow goes flying, and the terrible creature shifts it's attention somewhat.
"The commander is going to be so sad... So sad when he has to kill you over this."
The ghostly apparation moves to the edge of the stage, and seems to have no issues even removing itself off it, taking within its sights Rick and Asimi as a terrifying voice begins to speak in the back of their heads. (Wisdom saves please!)
Breldo curses under his breath as the maybe bandit flees, shifting another bolt into his crossbow and taking as careful aim as one can when you're trying not to poop yourself.
Attack: 13 Damage: 13

Cladmir suddenly realized he was running and stopped himself near everyone else (although commander Rick seems to be making a strategic repositioning). He turned around, saw the nightmare creature, and decided that caution is the better part of virtue and decided it would be wise to protect his range "allies" and not get in their line of fire. He would thus position himself slightly in front of Khond to be in the path of attack if the creature tries to rush Khond. He surely hope they shoot it to death before that happens, however.
Cladmir prepares to dodge if the creature charges and attacks him.

As this voice worms into the back of their minds, both Asimi and Rick take 8 damage as they find themselves freeze in their tracks. No raising their weapons to strike or fire, just a lapse in action as the creature gets to continue its torment.
At least until Breldo fires, the arrow finding purchase in the shadowy figure again, somehow. It seems like it's starting to waver...
As Khonds bolt hits, the shadowy figure seems to struggle for a moment, almost looking as if it'd collapse... But not quite yet. It scans between its closest targets now, Rick and Asimi, and eventually reaches out for one with a darkened claw.

The nightmarish creature is the one to act first, wispy strands of smoke somehow able to make a most malicious looking smile.
"Little whelp. Shouldn't you be hiding, like you did on that day?"
An oppressive voice whispers into Cladmir's mind as the creature taunts him. (Give me a wisdom save!)
