Cladmir, under normal circumstances, would have been terrified, mortified, in fact, by the egg, and the panther, and everything that confirms his fear of magic. But right now most of his mind is occupied by the pain in his body, with a tiny remaining shard of thought spared to look around for Nuria to see if she was impressed by his heroic.
Perhaps it's some sort of rock that had been releasing a poison that caused one to hallucinate flying, speaking fairies... and the gore spattered about some sort of mud or algae that grew around the rock...
Breldo does some mental gymnastics, back flipping away from the possibility of magic existing.

Cladmir glances around and... Curses! Being in this side room, and Nuria still with the other guards in the main room, she couldn't have seen his heroism, again! Why must he keep suffering and she can't even properly admire it to be impressed?!
At least whatever happens next should be in the main room, and then she won't be able to help but see...
Breldo briefly thinks to himself on alternative solutions that would make what he's seeing right now make sense. Rick IS the kind of guy to be poisoned to a rock and keep up the pretense while carrying it, wouldn't he? Yes, it makes sense. Rick meanwhile, keeps testing the egg in his hands, sniffing... There's just the faintest hint of ozone smell, but beside that he has no clue what he is dealing with. Although, holding an egg like this even he would briefly have to think back on how they found that "egg-like" thing in the basement from which Sylvia had presumably came at first. But there the shape had been vaguely similar through the surface, whereas here there... Doesn't seem to be anything. Breldo in hindsight would remark that the egg seems undeveloped at this point.
Rick deflates at the loss of his fairy friend but decides to do the only sensible thing, he pulls out one of his balls of fluff (which he has canonically been gathering since the first adventure) and places the egg gently inside of the fluff. He adds more fluff to the fluff to keep the egg fluffy and safe before putting the egg into his fluff pouch.
Once all of that is done he asks, seemingly completely recovered,
Rick returns to the main room. The awake maybe-guard there is calling out again something about how they shouldn't be doing this and how they could just leave. Yadda yadda.
The apparatus seems to have six slots, seeming to go from the front to the back. The disks you have are after earlier translation labeled as "blood", "flesh", "breath", "eyes", "tears" and "???", the latter one too damaged to actually be able to read.
In addition to the the hatch where these disks get put in, there is also what seems to be a button on one end, while the other end in between this strange contraption of gears and metals holds a lens facing the main stage in the room.
Cladmir is going to move up and follow Rick's order *extra* stoically despite is generally miserable looking state just in case Nuria is watching, so focused he was on this that he completely filtered out whatever is fellow guards were saying.
Of course he is going to wait for Breldo and Rick to finish their assessments first. No reason to get beat down by another ripped panther, or smoke monster, or flying swords... actually it is best to not think about any of that and just follow orders for now.
Rick's not completely certain of what he's looking at, but he's pretty sure he can make a few educated guesses. The button is obviously to start the device so it probably won't do anything until it's pressed. As for what... Likely something with the main stage, given the odd lens in that direction. Judging by some of the gears and patterns, he's quite confident that the disk closest to the lens would be "first" and then going toward the back would be "last".
Though he's not quite certain if that helps him figure out the actual order of things, given how there doesn't seem to be any hints on the device itself. Is he forgetting about something..?
Well, he could go ask that stupid lore mask... Or just make the not-bandit try and force something. What's the worst that could happen?

Rick sniffs the egg, then gently taps it.
"Sylvia?"

No response comes to Rick's calls.
"Oh... Poor girl..."
Once all of that is done he asks, seemingly completely recovered,
"Hey Wall Face, where is the reward?"
Rick stuffs the eggs in a very safe, cozy component, the one object in that pouch not quite as fuzzy and warm as the rest.
And then of course turns immediately to the wall mask.
"Oh... I'm not sure if this counts as overcoming one's tragedy..."
"But it would be even sadder if it was for naught, oh..."
A ring drops from the mask's mouth.
The ring doesn't even come within a foot of hitting the ground before it is grabbed and on one of Rick's fingers.
"Okay, Rick is going to go shove some discs into a disc thing."
Rick returns to the main room. The awake maybe-guard there is calling out again something about how they shouldn't be doing this and how they could just leave. Yadda yadda.
(Is Rick putting in the disk any particular way?)
Rick puts the disc in the right way.
If that isn't obvious, he will pick whatever way the disc looks like it should fit. Actually...
"Not Bandit, come over here and put this," he hands Cladmir the disc, "into that."
He then moves behind Khond.
The apparatus seems to have six slots, seeming to go from the front to the back. The disks you have are after earlier translation labeled as "blood", "flesh", "breath", "eyes", "tears" and "???", the latter one too damaged to actually be able to read.
He indicates the last disc goes into tears for Cladmir, but does gesture Breldo forward for his assessment.

Rick grumbles and heads into Lore,
"Stupid Lore Mask, how does Rick put the discs into the disc machine out in the hallway?"
He pauses then narrows his eyes,
"More specifically, in what order does Rick put the discs in to the machine?"
It feels as if the stupid mask is going to give Rick a sassy reply, before the Tabaxi specifies and a more clear-cut answer is given.
"The order is based on an old story. First comes Father's Breath, then tears, blood, eyes, flesh before he rested. That is the intended order."
((Do the discs have those marks on them? If so Rick will tell Cladmir the order.))
(Yes)
"Lore Mask is still a #"¤&."
Rick offers as thanks as he leaves to direct Cladmir on the order the discs should go into the machine.
