The Forgotten Wish

As most of the adventurers are already cautiously reaching for their weapons, this person in front of them seeming more "real" than the show that has happened up until this point, the planet slowly fades out of view while he continues his tirade, leaving only the mangled torso of "Father" behind it.

"After all I've done for this world, why should it be me to stand aside?! When it is my ungrateful children stabbing me in the back, my progenitors betraying me! False gods and greed trying to replace me?! No!"

Dark words in an unknown language start pouring from the clearly outraged man, an imposing fury brewing inside him even as his attention turns briefly not to the adventurers, but behind him, to the figure of "Father" looming overhead.

Before a blast of fire from the mans fingers explodes with enough force that the entire theater shakes for just a second. The entire stage is being caught up in flames, as now the figure turns to slowly stare directly at the group.

Rick chucks a dagger and then moves to hide behind, whatever he can.

Breldo gives a yelp and looses a bolt at the actor. It's a convincing enough performance, and if the charlatan didn't want to get shot, he ought not to startle travelers like that.

He'll fall back behind such cover as might exist.

Unless overruled by Rick, Cladmir is going to raise his shield and stand between whatever this thing is and Nuria.

Rick is pretty busy at the moment, and Cladmir making himself a target seems like a solid plan.

Both Rick and Breldo hit with their dagger and bolt both, the figure seeming to have rather weak defenses as both strike solid flesh. And while it is obvious he registers the assault, it... Almost seems as if he's despondent to it.

"Who dares?! All of you- KNEEL."

A sudden urge begins to compel the adventurers as that command is given.

(Assuming the failed save means a Command for 'kneel' to drop prone)

Khond drops into a kneeling position - somewhat awkward for a centaur, to lower to his knees with the front legs while the rear remain standing - though he quickly comes back to his feet and raises his bow to loose a shot, "So we're not even going to try talking?  Alright then, violence it is, yet again."
