"It's certainly easier to convince a land owner to grant shelter to one such as myself if you're willing to make use of a stable rather than a room. Pallen shrugs softly. "I've no particular preference, no. I figure most of them should have stables. And be willing to make accommodations for someone like Khond," Pallen states, then quickly intercepts as Slick states he'd cover for Khond.
"Oh, I'll pay for lodging of course- Assuming no one gets someplace extravagnant. I... Will need some help to get whichever place we pick, too," he says, but doesn't seem choosy. It appears at the very least that the group wouldn't have many issues finding a place to sleep. The road they enter the "city" through goes straight through, the other exit visible on the far side, and seems to almost resemble a market road. There is very little sign of "houses" or anything of the likes, at least directly from this road. Instead either side is lined with a mixture of taverns and inns, some stores, and... What is probably best describes as entertainment? There's a performer over there, it seems like they have a theater... When it comes to a sleeping spot at least they'd have plenty of options, and right now it's still more like the very late afternoon rather than "evening" just yet.
(Anything particular anyone is looking for? If you just want an inn, plenty of options with stables.)
((If this is a town that Breldo has been in before to have stopped at more than one of the inns or taverns, he'd have opinions on the quality of food and comfort of lodgings.))

"There's a lot just inside, kinda competing for folks looking to bed down as soon as possible. Certainly serviceable, and would get us on the road that much easier in the morning, so there's that. If we head a bit further in, they're somewhat more sparse, but tend to have roomier accommodations, and food's a step up, but prices that track. My vote would be for Erzel's place, the Tack and Anvil. Not right by the entrance, gets us a bit out of the rush of things, but not so deep in we're trying to cart through pedestrians. They set a fine table, and the family started out as farriers, had a little smithy and stables before their... great great grandpa... uncle...? Some old fella wanted to retire and turn that business over to the younger generation, and bought the building nextdoor and turned it into a boarding house, family kept improving on it until it was a full fledged inn, and that was the primary business, with a side bit of farrier work. If Nell's still in charge of the stables, she'll make sure you're well taken care of, Khond. Will have to see what they've got on the menu for tonight, but Erzel does a phenomenal spicy beef stew."
"Her Ladyship may find it a bit... rustic. If you're desiring finer accommodations that cater to a more refined... upbringing, I'd be happy to make some suggestions.", he says towards Sylvera.

Nuria purposefully hung back when the party was addressed by the big-chinned blond guard. She practically hides behind Oren and Breldo during the entire conversation, all the while telling herself that she has no reason to be afraid of the guard. He has no reason to want to arrest her. She hasn't done anything...recently...that would warren such action. No matter how much she tells herself this, she can't seem to make her body relax. She's spent to many years avoiding people like that man, so it's far to much to ask her to be friendly with one.
When Breldo starts explaining the strategies used by the others to speak with the guard, she looks a little too thankful for the distraction. His words are interesting, and she does think on them, but all in all it's just easier for her to listen to him then it is to think about talking to the guard.
Once the man lets them by, she visibly relaxes...though she is still rather tense. They are going back into a city....
She shakes her head slightly when Pallen asks if anyone has any preferences when it comes to inns. Then says quietly from behind her dark hair, "I-I'm fine with whatever Breldo says."
Sylvera stares icily as the captain ultimately turns his attention away from them. So he has no interest in them if they aren't heading South? Why is that? Oh well, at least he's out of the way.
Her expression darkens when Breldo addresses her and asks if she would like an inn that is... less rustic. Though it is unclear if her reaction is due to the prospect of spending the night with commoners or how he mentioned her 'upbringing', or something else. After a moment she lifts her chin, resuming her usual demeanor and says, "Did I not meet you in such a 'rustic' inn? Though it may be below me to accept such meager accommodations I would not wish to hinder our journey by spending the night apart from this... group. Wherever you see fit to acquire a room I will accompany you." She says this, though it is clear that she has every intention to rent a personal room for herself. Even if the inn is crowded, she will not share a room with anyone--not even the quiet girl who can't seem to stop hiding from everything.
"No... you met us outside the adventuring guild, if I recall. I don't know where you spent the previous night, if I passed you in the hall and didn't remember, I apologize."

Sylvera hesitates, then flicks her braid over her shoulder and crosses her arms, "Whatever, so long as the inn is simply 'rustic' and not the equivalent of a slum. I will survive."
"They keep a clean, tidy establishment, as long as there's room, we'll be in good hands. I'd not have suggested a slum when our accommodations are being covered and shared by our employer."
"Only if they've a kettle of it on, Rick. No guarantees."
Breldo, having passed through this place before at least long enough to have formed some opinions, suggests a place he's taken a shining to during his stay. And with his feedback, there is very little argument against the point, even if there is some talk about food and lodgings. Heading there, Breldo at least would find it pretty much exactly the same as the last time he was there. Pallen shows no objection, though does call out to Breldo as they're about to head in.
"Ah... Like I said, I will need some help to get out, and to handle payment, even though I'll cough up the coin. It's," he starts, hesitates for a moment, not quite looking at anyone directly as he finishes.
"It's probably best if you say I just have a broken leg or something. You understand?"
"Certainly sir. I can negotiate us some rooms and handle the payment on your behalf, if you wish. Would... would saying you're traveling to visit family be an acceptable story, should it come up?"
Breldo figures that getting Pallen physically out of the wagon is a job better suited to the taller and burlier members of the group.

Nuria almost starts after Breldo, but stops midstep and looks back at Pallen. Since Oren seems to have gone elsewhere as well, she's not sure who will help the old elf into the inn if she doesn't do it herself. She doubts the noble will lend a hand, and she's not sure she trusts the tabaxi to do so. Khond...well Khond might not actually be able to fit through the inn's door. Turning around she heads back to Pallen, "I-I suppose I will help you to your room."She glances towards Rick before looking back at the elf. Can she actually do that? Is she strong enough to move him on her own? "A-at least...I can try to help. I'm n-not very strong..."
Rick won't leave Pallen's side but does look all around, ears twitching with curiosity. On hearing Nuria offer to help Pallen he will focus back in and say,
"Rick will also help! Rick is wiry and Rick is sure Urea and Rick will do a great job! Does Boss Pallen want to look at something out here first?"
