Pallen flashes a smile at Nuria first, then Slick. He doesn't even protest as the latter probably leaves behind a thin layer of oil on his coat as they both take one side.
"It'll be fine. It's not like I've lost full mobility yet, so I can help- it's not up to my knees," he states, a silent "yet" added to that. Occasionally, the duo can feel the upper arms of the man, and how they've turned rock solid.
Breldo meanwhile enters his inn of choice, and finds Ezel himself behind the counter, mopping up. At least until he notes Breldo.
"Ah! Hello there. Weren't you here not too long ago? Breldo, right? Glad I am to have a repeat customer... With guests too! What do you need?"
Oren takes a look around outside... The buildings immediately surrounding their choice of lodging are mostly shops or services, a washing lady busy right across of them. It's not too much further up either way that more taverns or inns join up. The most interesting thing right close by seems to be an antique store, of all things.
Khond watches everyone head inside, and just says "I'll wait here with the cart until we've secured a place for it, shall I?"

"Indeed I was, and indeed I am! I was hoping you had some rooms available. There are seven of us total, though one who may be more comfortable in the stables, and there's three of us that could bunk up in a shared room, so may only need four or five if you're a bit full. The one who I mentioned might be most comfortable in the stables is a bit of a performer, and a centaur to boot, he might have an interest in performing tonight. Oh! And I was talking up that spicy beef stew..."
Breldo sniffs the air.

Nuria looks at the greasy tabaxi with confusion clear in her eyes. It take her a few moments to realize that Rick was talking about her. Oh well, she's been called worse things...nevertheless she starts to duck her head. She does return Pallen's smile with a slight smile of her own. Even with the weird cat man mispronouncing her name, a warm feeling runs through her as she helps the old elf to the inn. She can be useful, and she can help people.
Oren will make certain that Pallen gets safely inside the inn, but he will actually hang back from helping at the moment and let Rick do something. He will also go inside for a bit and look about the common room. He waits until the room situation is figured out so he knows where he will be staying. Then he will excuse himself to whomever in the group cares to listen, "I'll be back shortly. Going to take a quick look at the immediate area so that I know the layout. I won't be too long." He doesn't dally, but neither does he rush out, in case anyone cares to tag along.
The inn keeper, Erzel, listens intently as Breldo begins to explain, his look changing briefly to confusion, then wonder, as he hears of Khond and the reason why he'd prefer the stables. There is some brief confusion there, Erzel asking if the double doors near the back would be enough to help Khond in... Unaware of the centaurs real stature, upon which learning that entering shouldn't be a problem, gladly accepts him to perform as well.
But as Pallen is being led inside, with heavy steps each time, Breldo does note that the spicy aroma from last time is not currently in the air.
"Ach, sorry, not today. But... It's early enough, you've got a decent party, and I'd hate to disappoint. If you're willing to go and grab the few things I'm missing I'm willing to cook you up, still," he says, thinking for a moment over what he still has in the larder, and adds, "I think I'm out of radish, some rocket, and I'd need some more peppercorn... I usually just buy that in bulk when I spot a good deal. That one can probably be substituted if I get creative," Erzelf offers as compromise, before continuing.
"Anyway, for rooms, you're still quite early all things considered so I'd gladly host you all! Got a dorm room that could take up to five, and four private rooms, two with a double bed. So what'd you want in that regard?"
It's at that point Pallen steps up, given how he's footing the bill, stating he at least would like a private room, and he'd pay whatever it takes for the dorm and a stable spot for Khond... But won't stop anyone if they want to pay the difference for a private room. At the subject of food, he covers whatever the main course for the evening would be just as well, and does state to Slick he would appreciate food being brought... Before the customary small talk.
"So you're playing the part of escort, then? Where you headed that you need such an entourage?
Oren, after making certain everything is settled, states his intention that he's going to explore around outside if anyone wishes to join.
Sylvera shivers slightly when Pallen says he hasn't lost all mobility with his silent 'yet'. She has no intention of helping him--thats what the commoners are for after all. So she simply follows them to whatever inn they chose, all the while scolding herself mentally for her stupid mistake earlier. Shaking her head, she flicks her braid and resumes a dignified stride behind the rest of the party.
Sylvera lifts her chin, "I will be renting a private chamber for myself." She is perfectly willing to pay the difference. After all, it isn't like a small place like this could really charge enough to put a dent in her purse...
"The stew's not the only good thing you serve! One of the fellows I'm traveling with just requested a place with spicy food, and that dish came to mind. We'll take at least the bunk room and one private, but I anticip--"
Sylvera strides in and announces her intetions.
"Anticipate we'll probably end up taking at least a second as well."
Breldo will confer with the others. "Rick, he's not got the stew on, but offered to start some if we'll go pick up some ingredients, but I guarantee that there's other stuff here that's good."
As an aside to Nuria, "One of the rooms is a bunk room that fits five, if you'd not find it too untoward to share that with Oren, Rick and myself, that's an option, otherwise can see about getting a private room for you. If you're bunking with us, we'll all be on good behavior... or at least Oren and I will, and can think of it more like camping."

Nuria stayed quiet as Oren and Pallen made arrangements for their rooms and supper. It's not her money so she doesn't expect to have a say in how it's spent. So, rather than fully listening to the conversation she looks around the inn, taking in the furnishings and people in the place. She still looks tense, but she's certainly not as uptight as she had been when she stayed at the previous inn. Jumping slightly when Breldo speaks to her, she blushes in embarrassment. She needs to stop doing that. Listening to what he says, she shrugs slightly. "H-having a bed of my own i-is m-more than enou--" She cuts herself off. The last thing she wants to start talking about are all those cold nights sleeping on rooftops or muddy alleyways. "I-I'm fine with sh-sharing. I-I trust you and Oren. N-no point in spending more on me."
The tavern seems rather calm for the moment still, only a handful of people in, though a lady is going around cleaning off tables in clear anticipation of more people by evening. Overall, it has a very homely sphere, although there are signs of it not being a tavern in the past. Partially in subtle signs they can tell only subconsciously, but partially also with all the ornaments and tools that still serve now more as decoration rather than functional - Although they probably keep up the old trade to some capacity.
While Breldo breaks the terrible news that the spicy stew is not on the menu currently (only the normal stew, with a promise he can make it almost as good as the normal spicy stew), Sylvera, Pallen, and Erzel sit together for a brief moment to consider the private room. With Pallen taking care of food as well, it'd be only one gold piece for Sylvera's private room.
Oren nods once the rooms are settles and he heads to the front door. He will walk up and down the block. Taking note of what businesses are about and what alley ways are near the inn. If he can walk to where he can see the back of the inn without trespassing or hopping a fence, he will note how many exits are on the building. (He is only doing due to some of his guard training, he wants to know these things in case of an overnight problem or need for a quick fleeing of the area.) After that he goes to take a look inside the antique shop.
Khond nods to Rick, putting on a greatly disappointed face - he hadn't expected anything actually bad since it was the tabaxi that had come to give him the news - "Truly dreadful news indeed. Alas, the woes of travel ever begin with the greatest suffering of all; food... Now, has the owner told us where we can stow the cart? I would rather not stand outside all night."

Rick looks around the spot where Khond will be sleeping,
"Rick will perhaps sleep out here with Khond so friend Khond isn't alone?"
Nuria tries to suppress a cringe when Rick continues to mispronounce her name. If this is his best behavior, then she certainly doesn't want to know what he's like at his worst.
