Saralyn remarks dryly, "Are you going to stab the clouds? Thorin, if you have shelter nearby, then please continue taking us to the weeds. Otherwise, we may want to find shelter instead."

Nature: The storm is slowly growing but still doesn't seem to pose a threat. The clouds are getting thicker though.
Insight: The dwarf is eager to do something, but it doesn't seem like stalling.
"Oh, come on, I want to show you something." A large water fountain appeared in the distance. It's a 9-foot-tall fountain made of fine marble and looks different than a normal fountain. It resembles a small castle held up by 4 strong pillars. It was about 4 feet wide, and each pillar was 8 inches thick.
"Watch this." Thorin walked into the fountain and then peeked his head out. "Come on, follow me."
You notice a ladder in the middle. As you climb down you notice a small room with stone walls, containing a variety of strange plants growing on shelves. There was a door locked shut at the end of the room. "This is the king's secret herb stache. You can make potions with a lot of these. I thought you might need some equipment, and potions aren't very heavy." He picked up an orangish vile and smelled it. "This is made from Ether Tulip. Not as strong as Ether Rosemary, but it's a decent substitute. Drink this, it can heal minor undead infections. We have all kinds of things here."
"Well, some undead have acidic skin that infects people upon contact." He walked over to another shelf and picked up a glass of glowing green liquid with reddish flakes in it. "Now this is a potion that we invented here in Pearl Village. It turns your skin to a dry bark, good for armor if you don't have any. And this one," He picked up a bluish vile, "Is elven made. It's called Night-Chain Liquid. If you drink it, you'll have dreams about your future, usually your fate. This is very rare."
He turned and looked at the group. "What potion would you like? Describe something, and I'll try to find it."
"Do you anything that could magically sustain people for days without them needing food or water? ...We're going to the desert, you see, and there is a good chance we will run out of water.

"Hm... Moistening Wine is out... Maybe Coral Tounge? No, too rare... Ah, yes! Salmon Tounge Brew!" He walked over to a far shelf and looked through the bottles. He picked up a whitish-pink bottle. "Now, this is an interesting brew! You drink it, your tongue swells a bit, and it's also pretty bitter. But also very useful, because it makes water 4 times as satisfying. So basically, one bottle is equal to 4. Maybe not exactly what you were thinking, but it's close enough. But I only have two bottles of this, so you guys will have to split it."
"Now, we have lots of other potions. Strength potions, medicine potions, etc. Anything you need before we go? You should probably take this." He hands a small vial to Saralyn. "Pour this on a wound, it will seal it up."
Rain leaves his staff and the goblin spear leaning against the edge of the fountain and climbs down after the others.
Rain thanks Saralyn for the potion, but he knows that he can often locate water in the desert as long as he has time.
And later: "That is a truly valuable potion, Saralyn. Without Liara the cleric, healing potions could be life saving if we face more danger on this quest."
"It is difficult to know what we will need since we don't know the true nature of our quest. I think that we would take any potion that's generally helpful, like a potion that gives its drinker powers, like flight or invisibility, or resistances, to fire or poison." Rain thinks a moment and then asks, "Do you have a potion that would help us learn the truth from an enemy?"
OOC: Do we have a mage with identify in the party?
(OOC: the party is currently just the Ghurk, Saralyn, and Rain. So, no, not unless Saralyn has that power. Rain is only a half-caster and doesn't get any spells until 2nd level.)
OOC: No, I just summon spirits and throw them around. I can heal a bit, and knock off some damage from enemies' attacks, which in hindsight I should've done during the goblin fight. But not a mage.)

"Ah, sounds like we need some magic wielders. Maybe we should get you some magic pearls?" He pulled out a key and unlocked the door at the end of the room. He came back out a minute later with a handful of pearls, locking the door again. "The orange one makes the wielder tougher. Every martial attack has small amounts of energy in it. The teal one gives you manipulative speech. You can put people to sleep, and distract them, but it takes effort. The white one can bend sound, but I'm not exactly sure about the details. The gray one lets you create shadow but at the cost of some of your sanity. The yellow one... I don't know, something druidish. And the darker teal one gives you a great understanding and skill of craftsmanship. And finally, the red one. Not sure what it does though, never tested it. You can each take one of your choice. Don't fight over them. This magic will be useful."

Thorin stares back at Saralyn. "Oh, I don't think we need shelter. The storm rarely rains."
