"I'll take that coin and divvy it up with my new friends. Name's Carmen. I was about to seek you out before all this noise...about some bandits...? Think there is a connection?" She pauses, but one more, "So this has happened before?"
"You say there may be more coming? What leads you to this assertion?"
"Master Iefyr has seen a creature. Large and flying thing that is causing the goblins to attack. They are scared and desperate, as Master Mordekai says. Do you know of such a beast near some ruins?"
When the man mentions the gold and Carmen says she will split it, Cozubia looks at her and says "Lady Tiefling, if any of that gold is Cozubia's, please do not accept it." He turns to look at the man again. "Divide whatever gold is left between the families of the fallen. They need it more than Cozubia."
At this point, he looks at Lex, "We are very different, but Cozubia wishes to aid you with the bandits, Master..." He trails off for a moment, searching for a name that he has yet to hear, but something more respectful that "Warlock"
"Well.. it's 10 gold per goblin and you said you felled seven so here is the 70 gold..." as he looks around as multiple hands stretch out. He looks over at the human who seems the most pressing of the coin and gives him the gold. "Split it as you seem fit."
"This creature you speak of. I am not sure of said beast. It is possible that the beast hails from the Southern Timber Forest. I have heard tales from Fort Inmor and The Kingdom of Taliven that mysterious creatures are filling those woods and making home there."
"As for these bandits, all I know is that they are interfering with our trade from Wayfiled. The field masters up there may be able to shed more light as well as talk to you about any financial reward. We are in need of their food but new talks have begun with Habur Farms to compensate until they figure out their situation."
I will not hold you or these others up. Stay safe. Mordekai goes around the group, and once more gives a once over toward the brash and arrogant Lex. The pang of jealousy hits him, being able to have such an attitude and not have the hang-up of conscience. The attitude and quick-killing made sense as the ramble of words has 'hunter' mixed in with the other descriptors. Ready to move on and attempting not to give in to the words in his head tempting him to fulfill his initial threat, Mordekai starts in the direction of Wayfield.
"Well, a girl's gotta try." Carmen looks disapprovingly as the man hands Lex the money. "Noril, right?" she asks the man. "Anyone in particular we should contact in Wayfield?"
And under her breath with a wink to Lex, "I better be seeing my share."
"Umm.. Yes. The name is Noril," he responds. "And may I ask who all of you are?"
"As for Wayfield, the man you need to seek is Gilbert Franham. He is the head of all of the individual estates. There are individually owned farms but they are all brought together by Gilbert."
Iefyr stares in awe as Lex gives his grand introduction, clearly impressed by the titles. "Sounds good to me!" he responds with a wide grin. He turns back to Carmen, holding the rest of the coin. "I killed one goblin back there, so thats ten gold for me please." he says, holding out a hand. "Oh, I'm Iefyr Naegeiros, of the Watchers!" he responds to Noril. Whenever he mentions his tribe, he says it as if he expects everyone to know of it.

"Actually, Iefyr, I think you got two with that fancy blade work of yours. I had a pretty good view from afar," Carmen responds, "Twenty for you. Are you in the next round?"
"Umm.. Yes. The name is Noril," he responds. "And may I ask who all of you are?"

"Again, the name's Carmen. Thanks for the info. Looks like we're off." She turns to follow Lex and mutters, "the cheek..."
Iefyr doesn't even respond to her question, as soon as he takes the coin he jets off to catch up with Lex, trailing at his side almost like a puppy. "Hey Lex! Did you say that you're a demon hunter? AND a detective? How did you get into that?"
"You can call me Cozubia, of the Otiyax clan. Not the best way to meet new people, but at least there is now something to do, besides waiting." As the party slowly begins to head in the direction of Wayfield, he follows. Despite the horrible events of the morning, it is turning into a beautiful day. A nice walk would do the Dragonborn a lot of good. He has been in one place for longer than he cares.
After awkwardly waiting around for the party of now budding adventurers to set off again, Ezid followed a way behind, but not too far behind. He followed for a few minutes as they walked, silently arguing with himself, "Come on Ezid, Ask them to help already, alright, lets do it". Ezid walked a little closer to the group, clutching his tome with one arm, with the other arm raised in the air as he persued the group. He awkwardly coughed to raiseawareness of himbeing there, before speaking "Ahem, um, hello there, I was wondering If i could bother you with a request for help, or if i could be of any help to you in fact" with a rather hasty, rushed tone to his voice as he tried to keep up with the group.
Mordekai stops and looks to the one asking for help. The dragonborn with the lute at the tavern... not like he wasn't in the hole already, what was another moment of time? Should not matter if family or friend, only matter is matter of assistance. What is question, silver one?

Seriously? Carmen shakes her head and watches the half-elf run after the warlock. “Anyone can give them self a title.”
She pauses as the quiet Dragonborn addresses the group.
