Lex stops and puts his hand up to stop the group for a moment, he turns back and looks at Ezid, looking him up and down judging... He then turns toward Cozubia and jokingly asks "Friend of yours Scales? Or family maybe?" with a sarcastic smirk seeing that both of them are Silver Scaled Dragonborn.
"Ah! Hello there, my name is Ezid Blizzardback, I hail from a small islandnear the FrostBorne Glacier. I waswondering if you could help me with something. You see, I have been carrying this ancient tome around with me on my journeys, trying to find out about it's origin". Ezid takes the tome from under his arm and holds it out, "It was given to me by my tutor and I'd like to find out more about it. I figured a group such as yourselves, after seeing you dispatch those goblins earlier, could assist me with my personal quest, or perhaps, my assets could be of use or help to your group, I'm quite the knowledgable spellcaster!" Ezid coughs momentarily, catching his breath after trying to squeeze a lot of words into an introduction, or what he thought was suit for an introduction at least. He recovered his breath, holding the tome with both hands infront of him. "I've seen my tutors use this tome's secrets to acomplish amazing things, I Wish to unlock those very secrets myself."
"Such confidence..." he says, pausing to ponder the warlock's words. He's about to continue when the newcomer interrupts his thoughts. "We're actually on a misison; headed to Wayfield to take care of some bandits. You're welcome to tag along though!" he says, eyeing the book as the others inspect it.
"Oh, um, alright then". Ezid hands the tome to the male human, almost somewhat worryingly, given he had kept this tome with him for so long. Ezid awkwardly stood and watched as the male human began inspecting the tome, which featured very worn edges due to it's age. The cover was a deep teal in colour, which had faded in some areas to more of a green over time, as well as etched markings written in Primordial across the edges of the front cover, and larger ones which appeared to be the title, also written in Primordial. The tome was large, and quite heavy. It's pages discoloured around the sides where they had been exposed over such a long period of time of the tomes existence, giving a very ancient vibe of times long passed. "It is written in primordial by the way I can translate if you wish, I'm trying to find where it was made, perhaps even when it was made".

"That would be marvelous! I shall do what I can to assist you in your endeavours." Ezid responded to the Half Elf joyfully, distracted from his tome for a brief moment, before coughing and shifting his attention back to the human male inspecting his tome.
Lex will put his finger up to shush Ezid and say "I can read all writing, hold on" as his eyes begin to switch colors, changing into every color on the spectrum before fixing onto a light greenish brown (For Primordial) and he checks out the book. (Eyes of the Rune Keeper invocation)
The 8 symbols around the sides of the cover of the tome read the 8 schools of magic: 'Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, Transmutation.' The title of the tome reads the following, depicted in many symbols representing 3-4 words each: 'For whom shall posess this tome, if they be highly knowledgable of the 8 arts of magic, shall weild the spellbook of the ancient ones.'
Cozubia just kind of looks at Ezid with a confused look on his after Lex asked if the two silver Dragonborn were related. While he stares, the conversation of the book continues. After about a minute of pondering the other Dragonborn, Cozubia realizes that he has no prior knowledge of this one... almost blurting it out in the middle on the conversation, well after the rhetorical question was asked. "No, Master Lex. This is not one of Cozubia's clan brothers. Clan Otiyax was not so fond of... books." As he speaks the last word, almost with a tone of disgust, he turns around and just looks around the area, taking in the view.
"If there's any magic on it, I could determine what kind. As for it's origins, my family might be able to ask our ancestors about it."
"I don't think theres a part of the tome that isnt highly magical!" Ezid chuckled in response to the Half Elf male, leaning over forwards as the human male inspected Ezid's tome, making sure he wasnt mishandling it purely out of nervous habit.

"Unfortunately Clan Blizzardback wasn't a fan either, I was the odd one out. It's a pleasure to meet a fellow Silver, outside of Clan Blizzardback that is.. I despise those brutes.." Ezid spoke whilst jumping up to stand straight, holding his hand out towards Cozubia with a smile across his face, he seemed happy to meet people after travelling alone for such a long period of time.
Lex will look through it, nodding his head at intervals seeming interested in it's contents, as people begin to talk around him he'll put his finger up again and say outwardly in a gruff tone "Do any of you speak or read Primordial? No, thought not, now shut up"and continue reading.
After he's skimmed through he'll look up to the cat on his shoulder as she meows loudly, also seemingly looking at the book, and Lex says "Hmm, Interesting indeed... Ezid was it?" he asks still holding the book now looking up. "You say this tome came to you from your tutors? So it truly means somethin' to yah? Okay... 5 gold and i'll tell you what it is, my time is worth more than your weight in gold so consider this a one off." He says quite seriously and blank faced.
"I know what it is of course, it is the origin i am searching for. My goal is to find where it was made, and learn who wrote this tome as my tutors never told me it's history." Ezid chuckles as the human male tried to charge him for knowledge he knew himself already, "Of course I know what the tome does, I have used it before in fact".

The string in Mordekai's mind finally snaps and he goes to snatch the book out of Lex's hands.
"I can!" he says cheerily to Lex, and he reaches out to place a hand on the book. The text on the tome shifts and squiggles, becoming legible to Iefyr who is still under the effects of Comprehend Languages. Not taking the book, but just keeping a hand on it, the half-elf begins to hum a barely audible tune and tap a beat on the drum slung at his side, casting Identify on the book.
Mordekai opens a hand and motions the Dragonborn to hand over the tome. You need help reading book?

Hearing the term Primordial makes Mordekai lower his hand. With the flat expression on his face again he speaks a single word in Infernal. Shit.
