As Moredkai runs towards the area where he sees the small glimmer, he passes through the larger cavity. With all of his speed he manages to make it all of the way through the small tunnel and into the next opening. You look at the walls and see a small glimmer. However, only your dark vision aids you as you leave the torches light. The glimmer dims the further away from Cozubia you get and the closer to the wall you make it.
Conlaed follows, albeit at a much slower and possibly safer pace. He too sees the glimmer fade as he gets closer to the origin of the light reflections he saw.

Stopping in place, Mordekai puts his hands at his hips and looks around himself, as if he's wanting to find who tricked him into pushing harder than he needed to. Absolutely ridiculous. Mordekai grumbles in infernal. The glimmer seemed to fade out, but there had to be something there. Going to where he could approximate where the glimmer was, he tries to find the source.
As the glimmer starts to fade for him, Conlaed moves forward, and then backward again, trying to determine how and when, with his movement, the glimmer fades.
"Cozubia, can you come up here, please? There's something shining over there. It could be gems, or something else, maybe?"
He moves closer again, then stops. "Didn't someone back in town say something about seeing something shining, and then dying horribly?"
"If the shining thing can lead to death, Cozubia is not sure that going near it is wise," he says as he slowly proceeds forward to try and bring the light closer. "If you get us all killed, Master Conlaed, Cozubia will not be happy." A small chuckle escapes Cozubia's mouth after a couple moments as he realizes he made a joke.

Carmen goes with Cozubia trying to be extra aware. “I don’t know about this...I suggest we don’t touch the walls.” She examines the walls with the light.

As you get right up where you saw the glimmer from, you inspect the wall. With your darkvision, you can see, dispersed throughout the cavern wall, some sort of metallic substance embedded in the rock.
As Cozubia walks towards the group with his torch in hand, the faint glimmer begins to glow brighter and brighter. With each step forward, the glow brightens. As you approach and enter the same cavity the rest of the group is in, the reflection from the wall almost becomes blinding as you can see the light being reflected and intensified by the metallic rocks Mordekai found. The cave is now glowing brighter than most normal sunny days, at least within this cavity of the cave.
Carmen goes with Cozubia trying to be extra aware. “I don’t know about this...I suggest we don’t touch the walls.” She examines the walls with the light.
With this part of the cave now as bright as the outside day, you look around. Looking from wall to wall you see another tunnel that heads straight and one that heads to the right from this room. The last thing you see is up above you. After looking around, you finally look up and see swarms of bats, currently sleeping but looking like they are stirring.
"Wow, is that gold?" Carmen asks as the walls light up from Cozubia's torch. "Not exactly what we are looking for." As she looks around, she notices some movement from the ceiling. "Uh, guys, there are a lot of bats up there, a lot...Let's try not to wake them up. Which way now, continue straight ahead or right?"
As Carmen points out the bats, Cozubia lowers the torch a bit trying to shield the ceiling from the light a little, hoping the bats will calm down. "The right tunnel may lead back to the center tunnel. So I think straight may be better."

Iefyr follows along quietly, all of this investigation and decision making not being his strong suit, and knowing his usual drumming and chants wouldn't be wise in this place. With the seeming decision to head straight, he heads towards the tunnel ahead, glancing into the side tunnel as he passes.
Cozubia hides part of the torchlight behind his shield but what remaining light still shines hits the gleaming rocks which bounces off and hits other rocks and the light is just as intense as before.
I need eveyone to give me stealth checks at disadvantage from the light, as you head forward to the next tunnel.
The light was not going to agree with him, even if he wanted to hide. He didn’t have anything reflective (minus his eyes), but the various shades of thread stitching made him stand out. He also didn’t expect the light to be as blinding as he expected as the dark vision shot back to normal vision. He wanted to start cursing in a loud manner, but a very noticeable angered grunt came instead.
As the group enters this mysterious part of the cavern, the light from Cozubia's torch, no matter how concealed seems to reflect off of the wall and intensify as it bounces off another wall and another. The section of the cave, now as bright as day, appears to be the resting spot for bats. As the light shines, it begins to wake the bats from their slumber. As the six of you, now aware of the swarms of bats, try to continue straight through this section and into the next tunnel quietly to not disturb the bats.
Carmen leads the way, light on her feet, careful to avoid every rock and loose gravel on the way. She makes it all of the way to the entrance of the next tunnel without a sound. She turns around and signals to her group to follow. As they try to follow her steps, Cozubia trails the group. As he focuses on still trying to covert torch light, he trips over his feet falling on to Ezid, who falls into Mordekia, who falls into Iefyr. The four of you tripping over each other and clanging to the ground as the sound of armor, weapons, and any other gear clangs into the rocky floor.
You look up for a moment and see the bats beginning to release from their cave ceiling perch and start swirling and swarming around the top.
*This part of the cave is about 75ft long, and 35 feet wide in an almost oval shape. There is the tunnel you came from as well as the tunnel straight ahead with another tunnel in the middle of the right wall. The bats are flying about 15 ft above your heads. There appears to be about three distinct swarms of bats, all three above the loud falling members of the group right in the center of the cavity. Carmen is by herself on the far end of the room, about 30 ft away from the rest.

Though she really wants to run down the tunnel to escape the bats, she realizes it is too late. She knocks an arrow and lets it fly to closest swarm while yelling, "They're coming for you, get ready!"
