For a moment Demoiselle was tempted, learning the use of a new weapon could be useful in adopting a disguise - but forced the thought away. She was meant to be a cleric, not an assassin after all. "Ah, the list of chores did not specify. Very well, I shall mend the armour, good Friar." She said with a polite smile and went off to her assigned task.
”I think hospitality serves me rather well here. I have always enjoyed cleaning up and organizing.” I continue cleaning the busts letting Emungo on his way. I fiddle with the busts, making my way down all four, looking for any moving parts or hidden compartments.
Demoiselle: You spend the afternoon working in the classroom next to the salle, where you can hear the sounds of glaive practice punctuated by grunts of pain. You are able to use a Mending cantrip to repair the smaller tears in the leather straps, but the larger slices in the leather breast plates, gauntlets and greaves require you to slowly and carefully sew them by hand. (Make three Dex checks. If you get a 14 or higher on two of the three checks, then you succeed in finishing your task before ninth bell). As evening meal time approaches, Friar Bernard himself brings you a plate of food and checks on the progress of your work.
Korlan: As you clean each bust, examining it, you stop at the oldest bust of the first High Lord of Lichfield Basilica. It looks like a youngish elf, not more than a couple of centuries old. His face seems somewhat familiar. Although there were no moving parts or hidden compartments, your attention is arrested by this bust. (Make an Insight check)
I will short-sheet the large bed as well. Finally, I will short-sheet my own bed so as not to arouse suspicion. After investigating, pranking, and embarrassingly walking away from what is evidently the women's dormitory, I will wander back toward Friar Bernard's classroom. (I'm assuming my walk back will take me back past the busts, and I will see Korlan) When I see Korlan cleaning busts, are we alone in the hall?
Quill notices two other followers of the Wa in their white robes and wreaths standing nearby, both trying hard to act like they aren't watching him, but both clearly watching him. The blonde young man encourages Quill to drink, telling him that it will "relax his mind and wipe away his worries".
Korlan: Suddenly, it clicks into place for you. Those eyes, that mouth. You are certain that this statue of the first High Lord is a younger image of Dawnlord Wintermoon. Just as you make this discovery you see Esvaris walking towards you from further down the hall.
Esvaris does not see anyone else, besides Korlan, in the hallway. However, the hallway opens into the common room not far from where they are standing and he can't be certain of privacy.
I say to Korlan quietly, "I didn't want to say anything in front of Tryma at lunch, but I noticed something interesting in the Nave earlier. I think you would be interested." I proceed to tell him about the person I saw leaving and the note they left. "Did I hear correctly that curfew is at the 9th bell?"

I look around before talking with Esvaris. “I wonder who could be meeting there. And yes, I do believe curfew begins at the 9th bell. Luckily for you though,I am rather stealthy and very curious in who and why a meeting would take place while everyone else is supposed to be in their quarters.” I turn to he statue of WIntermoon and point it out to Esvaris. “This is Dawnlord Wintermoon, I am certain of it. That would mean he was the first High Lord of this temple. And if that’s the case, what happened?”
I stare at the bust of Dawnlord WIntermoon for a few seconds. "I don't know. He never mentioned anything about being the High Lord before. So, do you want to sneak into the nave with me tonight at tenth bell to see who it is?"

”There may be a good reason he never mentioned it. Or arrived here at the temple. And yes. Of course I want to sneak around. I don’t have a good feeling about the place.....” I say to Esvaris. “But I think for now, we should get back to our duties so no one is the wiser.”
i leave and head back to the room to organize. Continuing to sort through the books and flipping through them as I go.
Quill: The smooth blue potion does not ripple or sway. It seems to exude a soothing aura of calm. As you pray to the goddess, you do not fear this blue liquid.
Quill: The young man laughs reassuringly. "More often than not, the problem is not what hinders us. It is the worrying about the problem that prevents us from seeing clearly the solution." He tells you that the Celestial Emperor desires that all men live in peace with one another, and that a life lived full of fear and worry is no life at all. "Wouldn't you agree?" He says that after your mind is calmed you are invited to meet their prophet, Kara-Tur, who will guide you down the path of true enlightenment.
Esvaris: Upon your return to Friar Bernard's class you find him at one end of the classroom, the mirrored wall at his back making him seem even larger, if such a thing were possible. He is wielding a glaive and facing his opponent calmly, a round faced man of about thirty years of age wearing novice initiate robes, very drab and grey who is standing on the opposite end of the long room. The man is aiming a light crossbow at the goliath and sweating profusely. A few other clerics, standing with backs pressed against the walls on either side, creating a corridor between the two combatants, watch uneasily. "Are... are you sure?" the man asks, eyes wide with fear. "Yes," the teacher says confidently. "Shoot me."

Quill's brown eyes narrow as he stares at the potion.
"Aren't worries what keep us from falling into lackadaisicalness?" he asks the young man.
"Usoara, give me your guidance in deciding whether to drink this potion!" Quill prays as he attempts to discern the potion's nature from sight.

Quill is about to drink when he remembers the two novices who he saw earlier with Dawnlord Wintermoon. They looked drugged, he remembers.
"What exactly will this do?" he asks the blonde man.
"I have some worries that should not be 'wiped away.'
