Swan would use her reaction to do an opportunity attack on the kobold (While you are wielding a glaive, halberd, pike, quarterstaff, or spear, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter your reach.)
Cerau understands the nervous tone in Swan's voice. It brings forth a memory of home, healers crowded in tents after a sickness had passed through the the community. The feeling of pushing forward through patient after patient while their healing magics dwindled as if walking uphill battered by a strong wind. "I have enough in me to heal one more person by magic, should it become necessary."Tyto's voice brings her back to the present and she smiles. It's good not to be alone.
As the doors are pushed open revealing the invading troupe, Cerau closes her hand in front of her with a florish. With a flick of wrist she whispers, "May Our Lady of Silver ring through your ears," and releases Toll the Dead in the direction of the mage who seems to command the drake. This time the spell is accompanied by the sound of silver bells.
OCC: If the mage fails the WIS 14 save, then 3 of necrotic damage.

Tyto could feel an unfamiliar mind pushing against his, trying to take hold of his consciousness.
"Drop..."
He heard the word as if it were spoken right next to his ears. It was friendly, almost motherly. It was a wise and well-meaning advice. This was for his own best - fights were dangerous. What was he thinking, interfering with the affairs of men, putting his own life on the line? But wait, there was something else - what about his companions? Hadn't he admired their braveness just moments ago? He had decided to stand by their side, to make a difference, to protect the innocent. Why did he feel so different now?
Tyto closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Some of these thoughts were not his own, but it was difficult to separate them. The intruder was still there, still trying to find a wrinkle in the surface of Tyto's mind by which they could influence him. Tyto focussed on his own senses, trying to remember who he was. Then he remembered. There was someone he could always trust.
Mozilla, I need you.
OOC: Tyto uses his class feature 'Summon Wildfire spirit' to call Mozilla to appear between the acolytes. Then he will use a bonus action to command her to teleport 15 ft away from them into the air. When she appears it is a DC14 Dex Save for 7 fire damage for anyone within 10ft; then when she teleports away, it is a DC14 Dex save for 8 fire damage for anyone within 5ft.
Summon Wildfire Spirit
2nd-level Circle of Wildfire feature
You can summon the primal spirit bound to your soul. As an action, you can expend one use of your Wild Shape feature to summon your wildfire spirit, rather than assuming a beast form.
The spirit appears in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you. Each creature within 10 feet of the spirit (other than you) when it appears must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 2d6 fire damage.
The spirit is friendly to you and your companions and obeys your commands. See this creature’s game statistics in the Wildfire Spirit stat block, which uses your proficiency bonus (PB) in several places. You determine the spirit’s appearance. Some spirits take the form of a humanoid figure made of gnarled branches covered in flame, while others look like beasts wreathed in fire.
In combat, the spirit shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. The only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. That action can be one in its stat block or some other action. If you are incapacitated, the spirit can take any action of its choice, not just Dodge.
The spirit manifests for 1 hour, until it is reduced to 0 hit points, until you use this feature to summon the spirit again, or until you die.

OOC: and now, back to Tyto...
As Tyto hears the voice telling him to let his weapon go, the thoughts race through his mind. Instead of relaxing his fingers, he tightens his grip with a mental "NO" followed by a smirk.
He commands Mozilla to appear and the winged, fiery fox appears at an instant. She steps out of thin air, as if coming out from her lair... There is no joy for Cerau in the way her magic drains life from the acolyte, leaving pale skin and black veins in it's wake but she has resigned herself to the cause of the greater good - regardless of the tension that harming these people creates in her soul. She looks towards Escobert, he needs healing but he will hopefully be able to retreat into the castle now that many of our opponents are down. While this thought passes her mind, she notices a flash of movement as the drake lunges and sinks it's teeth into Swan.
Cerau spins on her heel and leaps over to the beast's flank, the air rushing past her clothes and hair with the speed of her movement. Bringing her mace down onto the hind of the drake, she looks up to Swan. While she has carried her mace with her for the entirety of her journey and had received some very basic training in how to use it, the violence of the action still shocks her.

Tyto looked at the drake, weighing his options - these creatures didn't seem to understand the speech of beast and leaf, so convincing it to leave in peace was not an option. Despite - this was the second time one of these drakes was still fighting after all of the humanoids were gone, so it didn't seem like they acted purely on orders. It seemed like they were self-aware creatures - intelligent, but malicious. And capable of bearing the consequences of their actions. Tyto had no choice - the drake had already hurt Swan, and Tyto wouldn't give it another chance to hurt his friends. He grabbed the end of his thorn-covered staff, and swung it at the drake with all his might.
